Author note: hello ladies ,gentlemans and ....err... humans. this is the second arc first chapter. Each volume will have 2 arcs.

After my 6'th birthday I started a vigorous training as per my father suggestion. Surprisingly i found out that training your body would increase your mana capacity even if only by a bit and that the more mana you have the longer you live and the stronger you are.Because of my tender age and the fact that i was only 1.3m high(same as my sister) . i started doing some basic training like running for 1 or 2 km daily and some routine exercises like swinging swords,push-ups and sit-ups. My twin sister Sabrina soon followed me and our days for half a year looked like this magic practice in the morning , academics in the afternoon and body training in the evening.Even if it looked boring we enjoyed doing it.

*Hey Arius* (Sabrina)

*Yes Sabrina.What's wrong*?(Arius)

*Even if i like this training it starts to get a bit useless. It became too easy*(Sabrina)

*Hmm you're right* "Yeah the training became too easy now that our bodies got used to it"(Arius)

*I have an idea how about we ask mom for permission to go on monster hunt tomorrow till late night? this way we can do exercise and learn some battle experience* (Arius)

* Yeah sounds good but for that we'll need a real sword's not just some wooden ones*(Sabrina)

*Let go ask mom* (Arius)

*Yeah*(Sabrina)

We went back home and mother which was reading a book greeted us.*Hi kids you finished your training earlier is something wrong?* (Aria)

*Yes mom.* i respond * We would like your permission to...* (Arius)

* To go in to the nearest forest and train killing beasts and monsters there?* (Aria)

*Yes but how did you know?* Sabrina inquired with a puzzled face and voice.

*It wasn't too hard .One of the servants heard you and came to report me. Anyway the answer is Yes, i believe you are more than qualified to go there and might serve as a good lesson on survival* After saying that she passed us 2 swords(http://i43.tinypic.com/28k0d5l.jpg).

*Waaaah, thank you mom* We both responded at the same time been amazed by how cool these swords were.

*Not a problem. These were my first weapons when i started training in a forest .Well i was 15 yrs old and was a dual wielder but for you these should prove pretty useful.* (Aria)

*Thank you again mom*We replied with a smile on our face.

* Now go to sleep tomorrow you will start a new training*( Aria)

*Yes mom* ( Sabrina) Sabrina replied while i was still looking at this new sword. In my past life i haven't ever seen a real sword and now i was been given one with which i would hunting tomorrow.After that we both left to our room.

The next day after our lessons with mom we both went in the forest eager to start the training. Mother told us that most of the monsters in this forest were just B ranks and that there could be 1 SS rank monster but that monster is usually sleeping and won't attack unless it is attacked first even if awaked+ it's a herbivore giant land turtle.

We both decided to use strengthening magic and magic eyes,ears,radar so we could spot our prey. Those spells were low ranked but very useful and the mana toll was small for us which were sage and great sage rank.

Upon entering the forest we both managed to get undetected until we found a pack of 14 wolfs+ the pack leader which was larger looked stronger than the rest. We both looked at each other and then rushed for the kill. both of us charged at a dashing speed and killed 4 in 1 hit each. The remaining 6 wolfs regrouped around the leader. He barked a bit and the wolfs started using a lightning magic which was supposed to stun us but upon reaching the target it hardly tickled us. We were amazed. These were atleast B rank beasts but were so weak. We believed that mom lied to us as she said that 1 B rank monster was an equal match to a demon soldier but these were too weak.

We charged once again and this time only the wolf leader was left alive and even after seeing his comrades killed he still stood his ground and jumped at us. He was twice our size and his charge could cause some damage so both of us evaded and encircled him and before he could recover from the jump we charged at him and stabbed his chest each from a side. Seconds later the wolf died.

*They are too weak .Not even a challenge. Did mom lied to us about the monsters strenght?*(Arius)

* Maybe, but i doubt i think we are probably just too strong*(Sabrina)

" Hmm this makes me wonder just how weak is a normal demon soldier"

*Ok lets continue maybe we find something stronger*(Arius)

*Sounds like a good plan*

For a few hours we met some other wolf packs that we dealed with pretty easy and a giant spider but it was a bit weaker than the wolf pack leader so we killed it fast.

It was easy but it was a good exercise on combat. Sometimes we would attack them only with our arms and legs out of boredom. Thanks to our vampire heritage we could grow some large claws and we could easily slash through the leather of wolfs and those arachne spider

For the rest of our free time we continued this training. It was funnier and more useful than the last one. We continued doing it for a couple of months until one day.

*Arius, Sabrina come here for a moment .Tomorrow you two will head for the capital city, Rarok the second highest city of the demon races and the place where the Dark Sky Academy is.* (Aria) We weren't surprised as we already knew we'll go tomorrow so we prepared before..

*Yes mom*(We both came back from the forest after we faced a S ranked creature and we were tired as that beast took us a lot of time dealing with as we didn't use magic. It was hard but it was a good training and it made both mine and Sabrina's blood boil of excitement.

The next day we departed after our mom lead us off. The road to the city was a boring one .It took us 2 weeks to reach there by carriage and nothing interesting happened. Once a pack of wolves tried to attack us but when we saw them, i and Sabrina unleashed a killing intent that scarred the demon and the beast that leading us to the city while the pack of wolfs ran away shiting and pissing while they were running. It would be a funny look unless we were bored and wanted a fight.

As time went by we reached the city and the academy. The academy had an imposing look and as we looked around we saw many freshman there and both of us couldn't help but smile with a bloodthirsty smile that released killing intent. Upon seeing that even the teachers were a bit scared....
