《Void God Emperor》Chapter 37 - Taking Things Easily!-No chapter for the next two to three days!

Inside the Spatial Ring there were many treasures and a thing Mazir had to sign,a Blood Contract.Blood Contracts were something that even Gods had no chance of surviving if signed. It secured a safe deal and lowered betrayal by a whole level. He quickly cut his finger with a small needle and blood dripped on the blood contract. It shined and disappeared,Chi had probably sensed that and smiled.
When Mazir looked at the other treasures he felt good. There were a few ten thousand kilometers Talismans and one hundred thousand kilometers talisman. There was an peak heaven tier Sword and techniques. There were also an Forbidden Medicine which was used to rise the power of the cultivator for a certain amount of time. Not many used it because of the insane backslash it came with.
“There are more than ten of them here!Enough for me to temporarily reach the peak of the Elemental Master Realm for a few tens of minutes!”
Mazir exclaimed almost shouting dumbfounded. One Forbidden Medicine was already worth thousands of high Elemental Stones more than ten was a lot.He quickly took them. There were also a few other treasures but they had no worth to him,he tossed them to Lang who quickly ate them greedily. His power rose by a level but there was no breakthrough just simple and natural rise in power. That was one of the benefits of being a beast, just simply eating a treasure can rise your strength by a level, different from humans.
Mazir qucikly put the Spatial Ring yet again inside his Spatial Bag which he got from Deanth as a reward. He sat cross-legged and started cultivating after entering the Locket. His cultivation speed quickly rose by several hundreds of times as Mazir refined and absorbed the energy, cleaning it.Lang was guarding the backyard. There was still a chance that somebody may have the ability to open the doors of the backyards easily,so somebody had to guard the backyard.
Mazir took out a few thousand low Elemental Stones and absorbed the Elemental Energy inside them, although little there were thousand of them, enough to kill a hundred Elemental Warriors easily. But they were also used for war as it could be used as a potential weapon against the enemies they would face, thus they became cultivation resources and money for cultivators.

But to stronger cultivators they weren’t worth much.Only Intermediate Elemental Stones could pose a threat to them.Elemental Core Cultivators had no chance to resist being killed by ten Elemental Stones of the mid tier, and from a hundred even Elemental Spiritual Cultivators may find it hard to block it without a single wound in their body.
“But my treasury isn’t actually big.I only have a few million Low Elemental Stones and a few hundred of thousands intermediate Elemental Stones with a few thousand of high Elemental Stones and mortal coins.” Mazir sighed in his mind.
His foundation started to become more solid even though it was less than 0.01% it still was 0.009%.It couldn’t be ignore in any way.Every day he would use Elemental Stones of the low tier to make his foundation and core more solid,if this continued in two years he would have foundation and core 200% more solid, which was shocking even at the high tiered Continents and rare at the top tier continents which could be counted in one’s hand. But for Mazir this was still nothing,he was aiming for 500% which was ultimately legendary even in the King Continent which was the supreme ruling continent of the Southern Continents. They had quite a few Elemental Emperors, and two peak Elemental Emperors.
Elemental Emperors were supreme figures even in the King Continent.Continents went like this:Low,Medium or middle, high, top and king.Low had only Elemental Grandmasters.Medium had Elemental Kings or peak Elemental Lords.High had Elemental Kings from middle to peak top had Elemental Emperors from early to middle and king had from late to peak and half-step.That was the reason they were supreme figures that even top continents didn’t dare to offend, they would simply walk to their deaths.
“ARGH!I almost forgot! The Welcoming Of the New Disciples!”
“Welcoming Of the New Disciples”.It was a special day for any disciple of the Elemental Academy. There the new disciples would fight a senior stronger than them. Some may think it was a friendly spar but it was only teaching the newbies the rules and who was stronger than them. But the headmaster approved of it,after all he also wasn’t just a simple kind hearted man, they would never become strong cultivators being kind hearted. It wasn’t necessary to go,but every newbie went there or they would face immense trouble and problems from the seniors.

But Mazir was a little sadist...He wouldn’t let this chance go away so easily. He quickly wore good clothes and left the Locket.Lang was clearly sleeping, leaving him alone Mazir flicked his fingers and the door opened. He slowly left the backyard, leaving a spell in case an intruder entered his backyard or tried to enter. He was pretty high in terms of distance so he had to use Flying Swords to fly down.It felt good.Mazir noticed the area where the special day was being held.It was around 500 to 1km in terms of space.Around 250 to 300 people were there.50 to 100 were newbies where the rest where simple seniors. They were talking about the newbies with nasty words, some even talked about Mazir, jealous of him they said things to make him look bad,but before him of course they wouldn’t dare to say the same words.
He slowly touched the ground, the disciples noticed him. They were stunned and dumbfounded but quickly bowed to him and said,”We are sorry for not noticing you,Senior Brother!”This 360 degrees of attitude change made Mazir unable to say anything bad,he waved his hand and then walked past them, forgiving them. His uncut white hair stood in the middle of his hair, like wind was flying through them.
White hair wasn’t something bad but never had one in the Elemental Continent seen with white hair.Mazir could be said to be an unique existence in the Elemental Continent and probably a lot of other continents.
‘An Elemental Master is inside that arena.’
Mazir muttered.Around one hundred meters away, inside a huge arena he could feel the aura of an Elemental Master. He could see the arena. It was huge but not bigger than the one in the Earth Kingdom.Inside were quite a few people. From newbies to old seniors. There was even an Core Disciple There(Elemental Master) inside, probably to not let any huge bullying happen.
Mazir walked faster and faster. His speed quickly reached 10m/s.In less than ten seconds he had already reached it.He saw four guards before the huge doors which were opened. The auras were all peak Elemental Spiritual Cultivators with one being an extreme Elemental Spiritual Cultivator. He probably was the Guard Captain.
There were around a hundred Guard Captains. Each had a thousand Guards in their command. For a total of a hundred thousand Guards. The Guard Captains were controlled by the even stronger Guard Generals who controlled ten each who were controlled by the Guard Kings, two for each King and finally the Guard Emperor controlled everything.
One of the guards said with a hint of arrogance,”Give us your mark.”The Mark he was talking of was a mark which had the emblem of the Elemental Academy and a special energy inside. The Headmaster had developed it,even Elemental Lords wouldn’t be able to destroy one.Mazir nodded and quickly took out a mark with a golden dragon picture inside. The guard nodded and said,”You can enter.”
Mazir put the mark inside his Spatial Ring and then entered the arena. He could hear cheers of people. The fights probably had started long ago.He slowly saw a light and reached for it.His eyes were covered in light before everything appeared normal. He saw the audience in seats sat and two people in the middle fighting. They both were late Elemental Core Cultivators.Probably newbies from other Examination sites. There were more than one Examination, and many other participated in the others,Mazir and Ren didn’t.
Mazir looked around for Ren and found him.He was at the middle of the audience in a golden small house like building.Four peak Elemental Grandmasters were guarding him secretly but Mazir was allowed inside almost immediately.
Inside was Ren and a girl he didn’t know. Her hair was red and shiny while her eyes were emerald green. She was around twelve to thirteen years old in appearance. But Mazir knew she was no youth. Her cultivation level was heaven defying,Elemental Lord of the second star. With Void Eyes he learned her real age.She was around 994 years old and a big genius of the Elemental Empire and the Gran Clan.At the same time she was Ren’s oldest sister.(Don’t ask me okay…?)

The Last Marshal
Weird West Fantasy Noir Once the Republic Marshals brought order to the chaotic lands along the Frontier, facing dangers both human and supernatural with ancient wisdom and a six-gun —but that was a long time ago. Destroyed by conspiracy and betrayal, all that remains of that secretive order is one nameless man on a trek though the West seeking revenge on the woman he blames for the Marshals' fall and his disgrace. When a visitor from our world joins him on his journey, they together must confront the horrors of a strange land, the mysteries of the past and the real meaning of their quest for justice. The world of Tellus is what 19th Century Earth would have looked like if the stories of Poe, Ambrose Bierce, Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgeson were real. History in this world moves slower. The old faiths persist and civilization never conquered the dark corners of the map, at least not without being inextricably changed. Technology and culture takes a little longer to evolve in this land, as people here tend to spend more time pursuing their elaborate revenge plots or trying to avoid being the next sacrifice to the Outer Gods rather than advancing science or statecraft. Imagine Cormac McCarthy by way of Edgar Rice Burroughs, though a little less testosterone-drenched than that description would imply. Three caveats: First, there are deep mysteries here, including how such a world came to be and who controls it. Second, this world is not wholly unconnected from our own. There is a historical point of divergence, but in the distant past. To paraphrase Twain: history in this world is not a repeat of our own, but it does often rhyme. And finally, this is not a setting that lends itself to happy endings.
