《The Phoenix Hero [DROPPED]》Chapter 059 - Seal

As Akiza and Cixi made their way through the Labyrinth, there were other groups who were beginning to claim territory. Some of them were even working together, attempting to claim the lands closest to the entrance to prevent people from exploring it altogether. But, this was not enough to stop the disciples of the Frozen Sea Palace, three young Emperor Stage women dressed in different shades of blue who specialized in using water and ice.
Cixi and Akiza watched as the three of them fought against three Emperor Stage people from another three Emperor Stage group consisted of two men and one woman in red and white robes. The other group was from the Earth Palace. Contrary to their name, they actually did not specialize in Earth, but rather all four basic elements of Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water. The clash between their Domains had already changed the landscape with multiple buildings and the ground covered in ice.
One of the women from in blue slashed her sword and released a giant blade of ice that moved. The woman from the other team countered it by raising a wall of rock. SHING. The blade of ice embedded itself in the rock. It had almost cut clean through.
One of the men in red and white robes kicked the piece of wall that was partially cut through at the three women. One of the women raised her sword. With a single overhead slash, it cut clean right through the rock. Their match was at a stalemate. One side would attack, the other would defend. Little progress was made by either side, but their conflict released a huge amount of Internal Energy. The buildings around them showed signs of battle scars with rocks, ice, and fire everywhere.
"Let's keep going," said Cixi. "It's dangerous to stay here."

Akiza continued to hear the sounds of fire and ice clash behind them, but with this, they were able to sneak through as the others fought. Even as they moved away, Akiza could still feel the constant shifting temperatures in the wind because of the ice users.
"I feel something around here," said Akiza.
"Where is it coming from?" asked Cixi.
Akiza focused and tried to sense where it was coming from, but the constant violent clash of Internal Energy was making it difficult. "I can't tell," said Akiza. "There's too much Internal Energy. It's like there's thousands of them all being released at once."
"That's because there probably is," said Cixi. "All those people are trying to secure the land before an Emperor Stage appears."
"I think it's coming from this direction," said Akiza as she pointed West.
"Then let's go," said Cixi.
Most people stayed away from the current area because of the clash between six Emperors. That was something extremely dangerous to be too close to. One stray shot and you could be dead. But as long as they were busy fighting, Akiza and Cixi would be able to keep looking.
Akiza and Cixi approached a large building that was still mostly intact. It was different from the others that were mostly destroyed. "It's coming from in here," said Akiza.
They looked around for an entrance, but there was none. There was also no windows to go through or anything. It was completely contained. Cixi smashed her arm against the side of the building, but nothing happened. She did not feel an impact. It was as if the entire building simply absorbed the attack. "Let's move the rubble out of the way," said Cixi.
The two began to move the large pieces of rocks out of the way to see if they could find anything here. Some of the rocks had holes in them and others had burn marks. It was a sign that large scale fighting occurred here at some point. When it was cleared, there was a metal double door. The building itself had no damage at all. In front of it was a glyph that had a cross in the center and four empty circles in each of the cardinal directions. "What is it?" asked Akiza.

Cixi touched the glyph. "It's a glyph, we just have to get it work," she said.
"Stop right there!" shouted a female voice.
Cixi applied a layer of ice to it, making it seem like battle damage from the previous fight.
Akiza and Cixi turned around. It was the three women from the Frozen Sea Palace. They had probably finished their fight with the people from the Earth Palace. "We're not looking for a fight or competing for your Emperor Stage monster," said Cixi.
"Then what are you doing here?" asked the woman who stepped forward.
"I'm just here to train my disciple," said Cixi. "We were here when the whole mess started."
"As long as you're not here for the Emperor Stage, then that's fine," said the woman. "But if I see you there, I will kill both of you."
Cixi took a deep breath as the three women walked away. "That was close," said Cixi.
"Why didn't attack us?" asked Akiza.
"That's because they did not feel that we were a threat," said Cixi. "We're only two people with one Emperor Stage. If they fought us after fighting the other three Emperors they would only weaken themselves. Then, if the Emperor Stage creature did appear, they would probably be too weak to fight."
"So they are avoiding fights unless absolutely necessary,"said Akiza.
"Exactly," said Cixi. "That's usually the smart thing to do. But for now, let's take a look at that glyph."
Cixi smashed the ice with her hand and started examining the glyph. "I have no clue how to activate this, why don't you try?" Cixi asked.
Akiza walked up to it and touched it, but nothing happened. "I don't think it's me either."
"Well, the glyph is meant to react to something, so let's try what we can," said Cixi. She pulled out her sword and pointed it at the center. That was not it. She created a vine to cover it. Nothing happened. Cixi Armatized and touched the glyph. The glyph shined blue for a second, but nothing happened. "It's reacting to Armatization," said Cixi. "But mine isn't work."
Akiza Armatized herself and put her hand on the glyph. The glyph shined red as the circle on the right lit up to a bright red. "It worked?" said Akiza confused.
"Try pushing it," said Cixi.
Akiza pushed the metal doors and they slid open. Inside was pitch black. "Should we go in?" asked Akiza.
"Yes," said Cixi. "This might be what Grandmaster Kongming wanted you to find."
The two stepped into the darkness inside the building.

Jodha's Jalal (The Mughal Saga I)
"Mark my words, Champavati, Queen of Amber, your daughter, Princess Jodha will be wed off to the Mughal household!"A fortune teller had warned Queen of Amber, about her daughter's marriage to the Mughal; but being a Rajput Queen she knew how much hatred they held towards the Mughals and so she tried to sweep the thought out of her mind. But who can erase what is already written! Destiny created man and Jodha's destiny was attached to the Mughal Empire. This is the story of Princess Jodha of Amber and her husband, the Emperor of Hindustan, Jalal-uddin Muhammad Akbar.~A LITTLE BACKDROP TO THE HISTORICAL ACCURACY OF THE STORY:*This story is fictional. Emperor Akbar did rule India from 1556 to 1605 but he did never marry a woman named Jodha. His first Rajput wife and mother of his heir was Harkha Bai from Amber. In eighteenth century, a British official messed her name up when he first mentioned her as Jodha and then the name became even more popular because of mainstream media. This story does not intend to hurt any religious sentiments, it uses the name Jodha however because common people today know of Emperor Akbar's chief Rajput wife as Jodha Bai*Highest Ranking#1 in Jodha - August 6, '21#1 in Akbar - October 16, '21#1 in 16th - October 16, '21#1 in Jalal - November 14, '21#1 in Mughal - November 14, '21#2 in India - November 14, '21#1 in Princess - December 17, '21#1 in Historical Fiction - December 22, '21#4 in Century - January 5, '22#1 in Empress - May 17, '22
