First post of 51 was a draft that I messed up and should have deleted, my bad if you got that one
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
After resting for a day, Akiza and Cixi headed back through the Gate and into the Labyrinth. The goal was to see how far they could get safely. "This time, you're the judge," said Cixi.
"Me?" said Akiza pointing at herself.
"That's right," said Cixi. "I want to see if you can recognize if it is too dangerous to continue."
"Okay Master," said Akiza as she began to lead the way.
Cixi followed right behind her to make sure Akiza did not do anything stupid. A skeleton appeared before them. Akiza drew her new sword Ragnus. When she applied her Internal Energy to it, it glowed a dim orange. She followed the same strategy. Wait for the skeleton to release the shockwave. Next, run in and disarm the skeleton, then break the rib cage.
Next was the Jiangshi. It was stronger than the skeleton. Akiza used to have a lot of trouble with it. But, she remembered what she had to aim for, the head and the heart. The Jiangshi got into a fighting stance as soon as Akiza got close enough to it. The Jiangshi was highly unpredictable from her last fight, so Akiza did not know how it would attack. She waited to see what it would do first. She held her sword in front of her with both hands
The Jiangshi ran forward and attempted to punch her in the chest. Akiza used the sword to block the attack. CLING. The fist of the Jiangshi had slammed against the sword and pushed her back a little. Even though the Jiangshi was undead, it had monstrous strength. It was not done though. The Jiangshi used its other hand to aim straight for Akiza's stomach. BOOM. Akiza was knocked away.

As Akiza got up, there was a little blood coming out of her mouth. It was the sign of an internal injury. She used pink flames in her left hand over her stomach to stop it, holding the sword with her right in case the Jiangshi attacked again.
The Jiangshi took another fighting stance. It rushed foward again. Akiza used the sword in her right hand to block it, but the Jiangshi then used its left hand to aim for the stomach again. Akiza used her left hand and released a shockwave, pushing the Jiangshi away from her and continued to heal herself.
Akiza still had to Armatize to fight it. The flaming wings appeared and the glow on her sword grew a little more intense.
The Jiangshi came forward again and aimed for Akiza's stomach again. Akiza swung her sword while jumping backwards to deflect the blow. That was when Cixi noticed it. The arm of the Jiangshi was starting to smoke. The Jiangshi backed away now that it noticed the fire.
Akiza was now on the offensive and the Jiangshi kept its distance. She dashed forward "Exploding First Wing!" she shouted. She used the explosive burst of speed to pierce the heart of the Jiangshi. The entire body ignited and turned into dust.
"What happened?" asked Akiza. It was much easier than the first time where she struggled immensely.
"Undead like Skeletons and Jiangshi are usually weak to fire," said Cixi. "If you hit a critical spot with fire, it can be almost an instant kill."
"So this is the power of Ragnus," said Akiza. The orange glow of the sword dimmed as Akiza removed her Armatization.
"Did you feel anything from your sword yet?" asked Cixi.
"No," said Akiza.
"The next time you fight with that sword, I want you to try to feel the flow and release of Internal Energy from it," said Cixi. "It just might help you give shape to your elements."

"Okay Master," said Akiza.
The two headed further into the ruins of the city, but there were mostly skeletons. There was no signs of the blue man in armor or even Jiangshi. As they walked foward, they saw something. Coming from it was a sound. GROAN.
"Zombies!" said Cixi.
"What are zombies?" asked Akiza.
"They are undead creatures that have a very strong poison. But they're slow, weak, and easy to kill," said Cixi.
"Then what is the problem?" asked Akiza.
"They come in very large numbers," Cixi replied.
Akiza activated her Armatization and flew up.
"Don't go by yourself," shouted Cixi.
"I won't I'm just looking," said Akiza.
Up there, Akiza saw a horde of zombies. There were at least a few hundred. She positioned herself for the attack she learned from the woman in purple. Position your hands in front of you and generate the ball of fire. The flower with pink, purple, and black appeared. The giant ball of fire condensed before growing again. "Elemental Strike!" she shouted as she released the ball of fire in the direction of the zombies.
Akiza watched as the ball of fire spread outwards and burned all of the zombies. She went back down and removed her Armatization.
"Done," said Akiza.
"You know, that skill would be one of the strongest Emperor Stage attacks if you could give it a proper shape," said Cixi.
"I know, the original explodes. The fires do not just spread out," said Akiza. "But I cannot seem to do it."
"One day, you will learn to give shape to your elements, then you will be able to," said Cixi. "But I would not like to be there when you do use it," she thought to herself.

A King in the Clouds
Tanlar. A cruel, repulsive, and foul word. It meant untitled, officially, but it also meant ungifted, unable, unworthy, unnecessary, unhuman. It was more a curse than a term, a badge only the damned and condemned wore. To be a tanlar was to know your life, your entire being, was insignificant. Once Kaizer had resigned himself to such a fate, but those times had passed. He may have been untitled, but he was anything but untalented. He refused to scrape by at the bottom of society. Those who stood above him could sneer all they liked, but he wouldn’t suffer being stepped on for long. He’d be better, much better. But of course he would be. ‘Fate’ demanded it so. [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] What To Expect: The story of a boy becoming a man becoming a king + everything that entails. Largely gamelit, but later arcs could be called litrpg. Also schemes. A lot of schemes. I do love some good ol' fantasy politics and intrigue. Minimum Word Count a Week: TBA after Writathon Release Time(s): Daily for as long as I can/until the end of the Writathon. I also write The Deathseeker [Returning Dec 5th]
