Akiza stepped out of the brushes.
"Good you came out," said the man.
"I don't know if I can trust you," said Akiza.
"Of course you can, if you're a member of West Wind Academy," said the man.
"How did you know?" Akiza asked.
"Only members of West Wind Academy can come inside the Immortal Realm," said the man. "But shouldn't you have left already?"
"My friend and I was stopped by someone who wanted to trap us here," Akiza replied.
"Oh that happens a lot," said the man. "Those people think that they can do anything when they are not on school grounds, but I know everything that goes on."
"Who are you?" Akiza asked.
"I'm Kongming, Grandmaster of West Wind Academy," the man said.
"Grandmaster?!?" said Akiza. "How come I've never seen or heard about you?"
"I don't make public appearances," Kongming said. "My job is mostly to maintain the Immortal Realm."
"But how, you don't have any Internal Energy," said Akiza.
"So you can't sense it?" Kongming asked.
"Sense what?" Akiza asked.
"Divine Energy," said Kongming.
Akiza had heard about Divine Energy from Kongming, but she had never seen or felt it. Nothing she found even had Divine Energy in it. "No, I cannot," Akiza replied.
"That's fine," said Kongming. "It took me many years to do it myself and the results are what you see here."
"You mean this dragon?" Akiza asked.
"No, I mean the Immortal Realm," Kongming said.
"I don't understand," said Akiza.
"An Immortal Realm is created as the result of someone trying to or succeeding at reaching the Immortal Stage," Kongming explained.

"You're an Immortal Stage expert?!?" Akiza said with shock. "But how did you do that without any Internal Energy?"
"Like I said, I have Divine Energy," said Kongming. "The Divine Energy begins to hide your Internal Energy because it is overwhelmed by it. Eventually, all your Internal Energy combines with Divine Energy to become a Divine version of that Energy, such as Divine Yin or Divine Elemental."
"I see," said Akiza. "But how does that create the Immortal Realm?"
"When we meditate to become an Immortal, we are trying to find that Divine Energy," explained Kongming. "The rest of the Internal Energy we gather and find are useless, so we do not absorb it. The Internal Energy then spreads in the area around us and the environment absorbs it. That is why the Immortal Realm is rich with so much Internal Energy and why there are so many treasures here."
"No wonder there are so many treasures in the Immortal Realm," Akiza said.
"But as I promised," said Kongming as he threw the Dragon Spirit Core to Akiza. "You can have it."
"Thank you Grandmaster," said Akiza.
"Come over to my place," said Kongming. "It is much safer and I have something to show you."
"I will Grandmaster, but I have to get my friend too," said Akiza.
"Then let's go together," said Kongming.
Kongming followed Akiza to Serph.
"So this is how you survived," Kongming said while looking at how Akiza and Serph covered the cave. "Very impressive."
"Oh you're back," said Serph. "I could sense you coming."
"That means you can sense Internal Energy! That's great!" said Akiza.
"Umm.. wait I don't think so," said Serph. "I can't feel him," Serph said pointing at Kongming.
"He's the Grandmaster," said Akiza. "I can't feel him either."
"He's the Grandmaster?!?" shouted Serph. "The one who runs the school."
"I don't run it," said Kongming. "That is left to the Masters, I just handle this place."
"But how can someone who have no Internal Energy survive here?" asked Serph.
Akiza had to explain everything to Serph before he understood.
"We're going to my place," said Kongming. "Just follow me."
"Okay," Akiza and Serph said together.

Crimson Astral Cascade
Summary: A vampire-astronaut from a futuristic super-reality, is reborn into a post-apocalyptic fantasy world, and now must make a living for himself and his family as a summonable spirit of the void. The ‘chosen’ son of a vast, multiversal, empire is exiled for the sake of political expediency. Honestly, they might have been trying to execute him, rather than just sending him away, but as it turned out, he survived. He fell into the grand nebula, the sewage line, and the plumbing system for the cosmos. Then he was within the base layer of the collective of mostly-destroyed universes known as the core worlds of Tesson. Now for the sake of his new family and new life, he will have to do his best as a “heroic” Astral, traveling between the myriad fractal-worlds of Tesson that still reside outside of the nebula as means of making a living. TLDR: Who hasn’t played a gacha game by now. But have you ever wondered about what kind of life those characters you’re trying to win have lived and are living? Posted only Scribblehub and Royal Road Confirmation Sequence: 2, 4, 16, 32, 64, 128…Tasty Cool.

A Forgotten Hero
(author: This is gonna be a long synopsis I apologise. This should be a prolouge but as you will see I have a seperate prolouge, please forgive me. This fiction as a warning beforehand is as basic as it comes, prettymuch following all story conventions of both the mecha and school life genres. I am mostly writing this to figure out my writing style before I begin something truly creative and uique. I dont wanna ruin something I worked hard on by being illiterate. Also illustrations are at a minimum because all I have access to is MS paint.) In the year 2028 humanity (accidentally) created the means to travel great distances through space in a short period of time. This has led humanity down the road of great technological advancement and also led to the spread of humanity across their home system and just begiining first steps upon other solar systems planets. In the year 2033 the human colonies in space broke from the chains of their old countries creating hyper advanced societies disregarding nationality and any other defining factor. Two space societies formed the Solar Empire a monarchic society with its capitol on the moon Titan which controeld the entire human home system aside from Earth which still remained divided into seperate contries. The other was the Extra-solar Leauge. A mysterious society outside of easy contact range with any other humans besides themselves. To help with construction and other work outside of sealed and breatheable atmospheres of their cities and ships the Solar Empire and Extra-Solar Leauge created what became known as Advanced Movement Shells(AMS). These machines are best described as huge exoskeletons or "mechs", and they aided greatly in getting things done by increasing strength, durability, and the amount of tools able to be used. They also aided in quelling rebellions among extremist groups forming in these new societies. Finally in the year 2050 the Solar Empire having divinated their emperor, and now beliving themselves to be their religions chosen people, the Solar Empire declared a holy war of conquest against all the nations of Earth in order to conquer it under the idea that all humanity was required to bend to their divine emperors rule. The first month of the war whent badly for earth as the divided nations fell one by one due to the Empires superior weaponry among other technologies which made their forces nearly invincible. The AMS were used to great effect due to their almost "magical" level of technological advancement. Some nations able to put up some kind of defense created their own versions of these technological terrors. From there the war became a brutal stalemate and suddenly was won by the forces of earth. Why this is still hasn't come to the light of the common man, but one thing is for certain it took a heroic effort from one, or many people to win it for humanity...
