《Another World With The Skyrim System!》Chapter 9

Today, we split off on our own to hunt.
I went west, Millie went east, Alisha went north and Farengar went south, we all made sure not to leave the forest or fight something that clearly outmatches our individual strengths… I didn’t listen to the advice.
“Fuck!” I shouted as I dodged the trolls fist.
“Why did I think this was a good idea!?” I said to myself as I used one of Millie’s pistols and shot it in the chest several times until I heard clicking sounds, meaning I was out of ammo… and the bullets had little to no effect on it!
“Fuck! Flames! Sparks!” I shouted as I shot balls of fire and lightning at the troll, then I remembered Trolls are weak to fire!
“Flames!” I shouted as I burned the troll to death… well, at least I thought it was to death, until it got up and charged at me!
“Shit!” I jumped out of the way just in time, but I felt a lot of pain in my right foot… I broke it!
“Can this day get any worse!?” I ask myself.
“Roar!!!” the troll roared at me.
“Yes, it can… fuck!” I shouted as I tried to run away, not bothering to heal myself since it would take too much time and I’d be dead by the time I got my foot healed.
“Oof!” I fell down a small hole.
“W-where am I?” I asked aloud, to no response
“Looks like I’m going to die in here… unless I can find a way out” I said, as I began to look for a way out but all I found were several man-made tunnels… all of them seemingly leading to nowhere.
“Fuck it… I’ll just do this! Conjure Familiar! Conjure Familiar!.You two, go down those two tunnels individually and tell me if there’s a way out of here!” I said as the two conjured wolves went through the tunnels.

Also, yeah. I have a psychic-like link to my familiars and resurrected corpses.
While they were searching the tunnels I began to pick up everything I could find. Including rocks, sticks, bigger rocks, branches and a dead guy!
I’ve been using my inventory to train since whatever I carry weighs exactly the same as if I were holding it… I thought, ‘hey, why not use this in your training, so you can become incredibly strong like the Hulk or Saitama?’ and I then thought ‘That’s a fucking great idea. Good idea me! Let’s do this’ and I began to regret that idea ever since…
“Ha ha” I laughed at the joke I made in my head as I crawled on my hands and knees due to the crushing weight on my back.
“Ow…” I said as I took everything out of my inventory, but only when it felt like my bones were going to break… right! My foot!
“Heal!” I said as I healed my broken foot.
“Graaaah!!!” I shouted in pain… healing my foot hurt more than breaking it!
After an hour of waiting, the conjured wolves came back, they told me that there wasn’t an exit on either tunnel.
“Fuck!... Go search those two,” I said pointing at two other tunnels “Conjure Familiar! You search that one!” I said pointing at the one on the far left. Now, there weren’t any tunnels left.
I look up and notice the sun is coming down.
“Fuck, looks like I might have to spend the night here… system, I want to buy two torches” I said as two torches appeared in front of me and I lit them… but, I’m still cold.
“I-it’s been over two hours… where are those dogs!?” I ask myself as the conjured wolf from the far left of the tunnel came out, telling me the exit was that way… but the troll was guarding it, waiting for me.
Then, the other two came back, saying there weren’t any other exits. Fuck!
“Okay, then Mr. Troll… you know what? Fuck you, I’m just gonna let you stay up all night and when you fall asleep… I’ll either kill you or run…” I said to myself as I fell asleep.

Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.
