《Another World With The Skyrim System!》Chapter 3

I watched as the little girl, Millie fell to the ground, she’s unconscious.
“Fuck! Fuck! What do I do!?” I immediately began to panic, like a normal person…
I began to think, and I came up with a solution!
“System! I want to buy a minor healing potion and a minor stamina potion! How much do they cost!?” I asked the system.
Exactly 3 silver coins!
“...Okay” I said, watching as the remainder of my money vanished and was replaced by two potions, one red and the other green.
“Drink up Millie!” I said as I poured the healing potion into her mouth first, making sure she’s not on the brink of death.
“Good… now, drink this!” I said, as I poured the stamina potion into her mouth, she began to cough and said.
“Where… where am I?” she looked around, confused.
“You walked over here and asked if you could come in, remember?” I reminded her.
“Y-yeah… I remember… ah! What are those things!?” Millie screamed as she pointed at my “pets”... seems like she forgot our little meeting before passing out.
“They’re my… pets, they’re my best friends!” I said with a grin on my face.
“Okay… but, why do some of them have… severe wounds?” she asked.
“You know some pretty big words for a little kid… well, I reanimated them, using the system” I said, as I walked over to some leftovers I had.
“System? What’s that?” she asked me.
“It’s something that gives you powers… want some food?” I asked, holding a makeshift wooden bowl in front of her.
“No tha-” *Growl* “Yes please” she blushed.
“Here you go! It’s your lucky day, I made extra!” I gave her the bowl and she wolfed it down in one go.

...Then, her face went green.
“Blergh!” And she vomited out the contents of her meal.
“What was that!? Poison!?” she asked, horrified at the mere thought.
“Now, that’s rude! I for one, love that meal, and you just vomit it up! You have no manners!” I said, angrily.
“It was disgusting!” she stated.
“No, it’s not! Look, the dogs are eating the… vomit… oh god, I think I’m gonna hurl!” I said as I held my mouth.
“That’s not fair! Dogs would eat anything, even if it tastes bad!” she replied, angrily.
“I’m kind of starting to regret saving her… maybe she’s just jealous of my awesome cooking… that must be it!” I mumbled to myself.
“Aaaaah~” she yawned.
“You tired?” I asked, and she replied with a few lazy nods.
“Go sleep there” I pointed to my bed made of grass and leaves.
She walked to the bed and quickly fell asleep.
“Okay… now, who wants to go hunting?” I asked my beasts, and all of their heads shot up.
“So, that makes it all of you… I’m going to have to keep a few of you here, to guard the brat, okay?” I said, and I noticed a few of my “pets” nodding as if they understood exactly what I said.
“Okay… you, you, you and you stay here and guard her… the rest of you, follow me! We’ve got food to hunt!” I said as I picked a few members of my pets to the role of guards before I walked out of the cave… and promptly returned
“I forgot my sword!” I grabbed my sword and left the cave again.
And then, we hunted for several hours, losing a few of my “pets” but gaining quite a lot more.

“Now! Let us return, with our spoils of war!” I said happily, as I rode the largest wolf of my “pets”, also known as my first Conjured Familiar. I’ve named him Roger! “They shall fear the terrifying power of Roger! The destroyer of worlds! The bane of all that is holy! Lord of the damned! Roger! They will cower at the mere name! Hahaha!” I laughed at my bad joke, as I rode Roger back home.
“Hey, brat! You awake?” I asked, from outside the cave.
“I-I am now!” she replied angrily.
“Good! I want you to help me with hunting some rabbits and foxes!” I asked.
“Why should I?” she replied, probably still jealous of my awesome cooking.
“You can get stronger… probably strong enough to beat the crap out of whatever attacked you!” I grinned.
“O-okay! But, if I beat you and your pets after I get my system… you have to be my servant forever! And don’t cook!” she said.
“Okay… deal” I replied, knowing that she wouldn’t be able to beat my pets that easily.
“Let us go hunting!” she said happily.
“Good! Hop on Roger and we’ll be off!” I said, gesturing to Millie to jump on top of Roger’s back.
“Okay… wait, Roger? Seriously!? Roger!?” she asked.
“Yeah, what’s wrong with Roger? It’s a warrior's name!” I said, trying to sound as offended as I could.
“...Yeah… now that I notice it… it is a warrior’s name… heh heh” she replied awkwardly.
“Nah, I’m just fucking with you! Hahaha! But, yeah his name is Roger… I named him that because… why the fuck not?” I smiled.
“O-okay” she replied, awkwardly, as she jumped on top of Roger’s back.
“And… we’re off!” I shouted as Roger ran in a random direction with Millie and me on his back, followed by several of my goblins on wolves.
“Hahahahaha!” I laughed, as I saw the goblins terrified faces as the wolves picked up speed, trying to catch up to Roger!
“What’s so funny?” Millie asked.
“Look behind you! Hahaha!” I replied while laughing.
“Huh? Pfft! Hahaha” Millie also started laughing.
We continued to hunt, as we laughed through the night.

Adagio of the Enlightened
The Elders will tell you the stories and lore. Of our ancestors, their deeds, and of the foes of yore. They will praise to you the chariot, and how it flew to the stars. How it stole the sun's light and slew the night’s roar. The Shamans will tell you the tales of their wisdom. Their wars on schism, and the unlettered world of ours before. Perhaps they will sing you the songs of what our clans' ancient customs tore. Poems of how our ancestors took what the discs had offered them, the manna and the mundane, and made it more. The kings will tell you of the follies, the sins, and the anecdotes of all our ancestors' wrongs. They will curse to you their names, the Ender of Fate and the Ruined Song. How they had dug up the hearts of the discs, euchred its relics, and blasphemed its prophecies, with oracles withdrawn. But they will only tell you the legends, recount the myths, and sing the allegories washed ashore. The Elders, the Shamans, and the kings can only retell what the storytellers of their own time had voiced. What they have read in books or heard in the minstrels' songs they adore. They don't know what really happened. They were never there. They can't tell you how our ancestors slew the angels from the sky, and sent them back to where they belonged. How they poisoned our minds, and made our people slothful and feeble, with the reforms they had undergone. But I can.I can tell you how the Ender of Fate severed destiny's strings, weakened them, and weaved them to our feeble flesh and souls.I can tell you how the Ruined song razed the heavens with her blood-stained melody, and reshaped our hell into utopia, with the deaths she deplored.Because I was there. I can tell you the truth, with my virtue strong. ----> Disclaimer: This will be a slow-burn, character-driven, non-harem, slice-of-life web novel with cultivation and kingdom-building elements.
