《Another World With The Skyrim System!》Chapter 1

My name’s Grant Chambers, I’m a huge fan of the Elder Scrolls games, especially Skyrim.
I’m actually in the middle of playing a new...ish character.
A level 29 wood elf named Yefil, with the three highest leveled skills being: Blacksmithing at 70, Lockpicking at 52 and Two Handed at 78
I have completed the thieves guild questline.
Just started the companions.
I haven’t even touched on the dark brotherhood quest line (Assassins), which I’m going to complete last, after the dawnguard (Vampire hunters) or vampire questlines.
...And other ones, that I probably don’t remember…
I’m also a Stormcloak, the faction leading the rebellion for Skyrim’s freedom to worship one their gods Talos, they’re led by the Jarl of Windhelm Ulfric Stormcloak… in my game, they won the fight for Skyrim’s freedom.
…
And, I was summoned to another world, as myself! Why couldn’t I be my character!?
---Two hours earlier---
[RING] [RING]
I picked up the phone.
“Yes? Who is it… oh, hey, mom! Why did you ca-... oh… oh god… no, I’ll be right there!” I dropped the phone and ran to the hospital, to see my dad in a coma.
“What happened, mom!?” I asked.
“He… *sniff* he fell down the stairs… he was playing a game with your brother, Michael… I told them not to play indoors… Michael hit your father on the head with a baseball, and caused him to stumble *sniff* down the stairs” My mom said, tears in her eyes.
“Mom, it’s gonna be okay. I’m here for you” I said, as I gave her a gentle hug.
“What the!?” I exclaimed as I looked down.
My mom looked in shock and stepped away.
As I looked down, I saw strange symbols that I somewhat recognize from the game I was previously playing, underneath my feet.

“Mom?” I said my last word to my mother as she screamed, Then she disappeared.
…
“Where am I?” I asked aloud.
I looked around, and all I saw was a small forest to the left and the ocean to the right, thinking for but a moment, I went left.
“Hello!?” I shouted, hoping someone could hear me.
“Is anyone there!?” I shouted, once again.
“Grrr!” I heard growling in the bushes behind me, so I turned around to look and something jumped at me and tried to rip my arm off!
“Fuck!” I shouted as I punched the beast in the face multiple times.
“Roar!” It roared at me and jumped back.
Now that I got a good look at it, it looks like a wolf!
“Oh, fuck! Oh, fuck! Oh, fuck!” I desperately looked around for a weapon, but all I could find was a large rock, so I picked it up and charged towards the wolf, catching it off-guard I bashed its head in with the rock.
EXP GAINED: Level 1 in One Handed Weapons.
“What the!?” I said as I looked at the strangely familiar screen slightly blocking my vision.
And then, it disappeared.
“What the hell was that!?” I asked myself, shocked.
“It looked kind of familiar… wait… wasn’t that one of the level things from Skyrim!?” I asked to myself, as I kept walking through the woods, searching the area for a better weapon than a big rock.
Then, I came across a cave, and in it was a sword, made of Steel, and it looked strangely similar to the ones in Skyrim.
“What the hell is this place!?” I asked myself.
Then, I spotted some better clothes to wear, on a skeleton.
“Well… mine are covered in blood and one of the sleeves is ripped… my arm is in bad shape too, fuck it… so what if it isn’t fashionable! It’s better than this shit!” I said to myself, as I ripped part of my shirt and made a homemade bandage, wrapped it around my arm and put the new shirt on, along with the pants, leaving my previous clothes, in the cave.

I began to feel hungry, so using some of my Skyrim knowledge, I looked for some random barrels, since they would obviously have fresh carrots, potatoes or tomatoes in them… or ingredients for alchemy.
“Oh my god! I actually found one!” After an hour of searching, I found a barrel and inside was… a few carrots and several tomatoes.
“Better than nothing!” I said to myself, as I walked back to the cave, carrying the barrel with me… What? I can’t carry multiple carrots and tomatoes with just my hands! I don’t even have pockets!
I got back to the cave, to find two wolves inside!
“Fuck!” I instantly threw the barrel towards them, causing multiple carrots and tomatoes to fall out, as I reached for my sword.
“Grrr!!!” One of the wolves dodged the barrel and pounced at me, the other one wasn’t as lucky.
“Fuck! Die!” I said as I swung my steel sword at the wolf, causing it to die… when I hit it, after swinging my sword around five times a second… for ten seconds, which allowed the other wolf to regain its balance.
“GRRR!!!” And, it was pissed!
“Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!” I panicked, as the wolf charged at me.
“Help!” I shouted, in fear.
…
Everything seemed to slow down.
I could see the wolf aiming for my leg, preparing to rip it off with its teeth.
I quickly moved into a position, getting ready to kick the wolf.
And, time sped up again!
“Grr!” The wolf growled, as it still thought I was going to be its dinner.
“Guess again bitch!” I shouted, as I kicked the wolf into the wall of the cave, and rushed at the wolf, kicking it again and stabbing it multiple times.
EXP GAINED: Level 2 in One Handed Weapons
LEVEL UP: Level 1
You have been deemed worthy to use the Skyrim System, have fun!
“Wait… what!?” I exclaimed in shock, as I read the messages in my vision.

Wulfgard: The Hunt Never Ends
In the civilized world of humans, 'monsters' have all but passed into legend. But when something goes bump in the night, when people begin to disappear, when a dark mystery begins to haunt even the most peaceful villages, there is only one organization to turn to: the Hunters. The Venatori. Having lived a life of discipline and service, former soldier Caiden Voros finds something even worse than the wars of humans: the monsters that hunt them. Horrors yet unknown even to him and his many scars await in the claws, talons, fangs, and mysterious powers of creatures so far beyond humans that he must dedicate himself entirely to the art of slaying them. Harboring a secret of his own and in a constant struggle to find answers while maintaining his sanity, however, Caiden begins to ask the age-old question... Who is truly worse, the monsters or the Men? Wulfgard: The Hunt Never Ends is an episodic collection of stories, each of which stand on its own, but they also build upon each other in a consecutive order, bridging a gap between a novel and short story collection. These stories follow monster hunter Caiden Voros and his partner Gwen Vergil as they embark on tales of mystery, horror, and adventure to track down monsters - the living dead, beast-men, shape-shifters, spirits, and many more - that would do harm to innocent lives and, by whatever means necessary, put a stop to their terrors. Their motives, however, are not always what they seem.
