Hanging there on the cold wall, bright red wrist from the chains that kept me from falling face down from the floor as a pain ached through my knees. A breeze cold that passed my half naked body as Diamond sat hiding inside my hair… I waited… Inside a cellar.

“Tell me prisoner! Where did you find my daughter? Caugh… caugh” The man clad in royal red cape said, as the guards held him like a pillar.

In your own house goddamnit!.. heh… I see, I get it now… No wonder they couldn’t find her… Who would think that she would be in their own house!

“Tell me… Caugh… caugh... or you will face suffering!” The old man said, shaking the steel bars with his burning hands, as it trembled the cellar, echoing throughout the jail.

“...”

“My king, you must rest!” The guard said, as he held the king over his shoulder.

He clicked his tongue, turning around and left me in the shadows together with the guardsmen...

“Shouldn’t you tell him the truth, Master?” The ice fairy asked.

“No… I can’t have the queen make her move yet… I’ll wait…”

“Step… step… step…”

Heh… The sound of those delicate movements… Trying to scare me are ya? Fiona…

“So, the quest giver is here…”

“Heh, I knew that she was still in the palace… Just had to make sure” She said, looking down upon me.

“So, do you know the reason why you are here?” She asked, arms crossed behind the steel bars.

“It all started when the queen vanished at the first rainy day for centuries in the desert… Everyone mourned, together with the sky as they sent out soldiers searching for the missing queen… A few weeks later, one of the young twins vanished, never to be heard again… In fear the King tasked his royal guards to protect the last twin, but she too vanished before he even had time to break out in cry…”

“Sad, and desperate to find his daughters, the king sat lonely on that old throne for months and years… As his generals and high ranked soldiers were sent out to find his missing family...”

“As his gray beard grew white, the queen still young came, soothing him from his misery”

Something like that, yada yada yada yada, she took takes over the throne, controlling everything as he lays sick on the bed with his few remaining true soldiers… Steal the life of the other princess… you want revenge yada... Though, she does a good job taking care of town, unless it is the king behind the scenes..”

“So? I get why you yourself couldn’t infiltrate before, because the queen had warned them of a woman, but... why me?” I stared at her with my shiny red eyes.

“That ring of yours… The promised ring… It looks exactly like the ring my savior had when he saved me 13 years ago”

“Hehehe, I think there is a big misunderstanding here…” Though… I can’t stop chuckling….

Fiona faced away, face bright red.

“It’s true… Although a true heart of ice in my part” Diamond said revealing herself for the first time for Fiona, flying towards her.

“Is that a fairy?” She said, gently grabbing the fairy and snuggled with her as she struggled to get lose… Bad move diamond.

“Master! Help!”

But eh… A heart of ice… Am I that cold? Or is there another meaning to it...

Heh… “Anyways, how about getting me out then?”

“Ah, yes…”

Unlocking the door, she stepped inside and unlocked my chains that held my wrist tightly. It was a pleasant fragrance… Afterwards she gave me my armour that the guards took and I reequipped it. “Thanks… Fiona”

“Heh, well I have to save one of the knights”

“Knights? How did you know I was a knight?” Oh… wait, the ring...

She turned around, bowing and stared deep into my eyes… I shivered. Did she look through my soul?

“... Secret”

“Right… Lets get out of here then?” I said, fixing my gauntlet as I went towards the exit of the cellar. Oh wait.. I forgot…

Stepping to the side of the exit, I bowed and said “Your highness, ladies first”

As I sat on a bench, bathing in the warm sun… Eating a ice cream together with the fairy and the princess as we watched the happy citizens move around the fountain that shoot out glimmering water at front of us… Wait, what are we doing here?

“We are not gonna confront the queen?” I asked, licking the cold and wet ice cream.

“No way, most of the soldiers are inside the palace right now. When they notice that you are gone, the queen will spread them out and search, that is when we strike” She explained, licking lustfully on the ice cream… I tried to glance away.

“Do we have support?”

“Yeah, my whole guild”

“Oh…”

“How many?”

As we sat there eating our ice cream, a wild group of trio adventurers appeared, oh nice toons… They are cool looking… My Beef lover is cooler though!

“Ah, what a pretty lady we have here, are you alone perhaps?” The front man asked.

“No, you are blocking my view” She said, licking her ice cream.

“Feisty, I like that, how about you hang out with us... Instead of that boring guy next to you?”

“No” She said, glancing towards me and Diamond for help… Heh…

“Guys, I would try to avoid her if I were you”

“Huh? what’s with that smirk of yours” He said, blocking the background together with the sun.

“Well… She is a dominant one, last nigURgh” A wet tear drop rolled down my cheek... My beloved feet… Bastards… Her heels hurts! It’s crushing me!

“Eh what you say you crybaby?” He said, grabbing my scarf… Why does everyone grab my damn scarf?! And my ice cream! You made me drop my goddamn ice cream! Noooo!

“I said sniff... leave her alone or I’ll sniff… challenge you to a duel to the death”

“Hah, someone who burst out in tears, challenges me to a duel? And to the death at that!” He laughed with the the other two… My face burned.

He grinned “I accept”

A sudden flag appeared on the street near the fountain, indicating to everyone that a duel was about to begin. Crowds started to curiously gather around.

Removing his hand, I stood up and got into position. okay, from the looks of it he seems to be some kind of a magician… A strong one at that from the way he talks. Knowing the mages, they will blink behind somewhere and then blast a quick lightning bolt… The strongest element to heavily armored targets. So what do I do? Heh… Sadly… He doesn’t get the best spells until later!

“Not gonna take out your weapon, warrior?” He taunted.

“Pfft, a noob like you don’t deserve my beloved weapon”

“We’ll see about that!” He said, raising his wand for around level 20 as his high geared robe flapped with the wind. He actually looked cool though...

But… Information in games is crucial…

[NIFELHEIM] Diamond casted and he got stuck immediately after as a wall of ice covered the duel field.

Heh, Looking around, I saw the man to the left of me, walking towards the frozen man, I could only guess that he said “I thought you were a warrior!!” Not that I confirmed that I was though… Pets is so overpowered. Mine at least.

Luckily, when you duel to the death, the only drawback for the loser, is a cooldown of 1 day in real time. Other than that, the winner or anyone else cannot loot the body, though, they do get the pleasure of kicking the body...

Sigh… I rested my back to the bench again as the sun bathed me and melted the ice blocks away that blocked the vision of the spectators.

Glaring towards the shivering players, I said “So, you guys gonna leave her or not?”

“Ek!”

Anyways… my ice cream… Melting alone there on the street… Glancing towards Fiona, I saw that she was happily licking her ice cream… Turning around I looked at Diamond who licked her ice cream happily too...

“Diamond…”

“Yeah?”

Heh...“Come here…”

“Yes master!” She said, flying towards me with her half eaten ice cream…

“I know that smile Master! You do that everytime you lie!” She said and backed away...
