《Just For Fun》Chapter 52: Decorative Statue

“Hey Nebel!” Chris says walking into his room along with Mike...
He looks at Andrea and Stephanie who both woke up together with Nebel at Chris’ greeting, luckily they had actually woken before this and while confused as to why they were in Nebel’s room instead of Mitchell’s they had still put on pyjamas and a nightshirt respectively before going back to sleep.
Turning to the right Chris walks slowly over to the corner of the room and squats down to poke at the ground, his head lowered and shoulders’ slumped “...Typical...” they hear him mumble.
Mike looks over at him for a moment before looking back at Nebel and the girls “...whatever... Hey Nebel! We were told to bring you some news before going to class.”
He pulls out his phone and points at it “The university’s administration couldn’t get a hold of you, you should check your phone.” He puts his phone away, gives Nebel a thumbs up and makes a high pitched girly voice “The admin, told me to tell you, that thanks to your accomplishments, on that project of yours, that they are giving you a few days off!” halting at certain words he makes it sound as if his some bimbo gossiping with her friends...
Nebel nods to this tiredly “Awesome...” and lays himself back down.
“What’s up Nebel?” Mike asks with a worried look
“Oh don’t mind him right now!” Andrea says “We just fucked his brains out!”
At this Chris twitches and starts holding his knees but no one cares.
Mike scratches his chin “...No, that doesn’t really sound right... if he could walk around calmly after being chased, captured and held captive by Synthia for eight hours, he should be fine with just the two of you!”
Andrea gets a passionate look in her eyes “Who’s this Synthia? I absolutely must meet her!”
Stephanie raises herself up on one arm and looks at Andrea “What are you going bi now?”
To which Andrea just smiles waves a hand at her “That ship has sailed amiga, I’m already bi!” Her smile turns into a determined look “No... I must find my new master and train beneath her... both not literally and literally... if she let’s me.”
Nebel puts his hand into his pocket, where the demi gods had placed everything he had on him that they had found, pulling it back out without looking he tells them “Her numbers on here have fun...”
The three people who aren’t starring into a corner stay completely silent for a moment before Andrea asks him “Hey! Nebel were you in some kind of an accident? ”
Looking down at his phone, Nebel sees that the screen is smashed, the casing heavily cracked and battery missing...
Dodging the question Nebel gets out of bed and retrieves his pad, opening the address book app he shows Andrea Synthia’s number and address.
Seeming to have forgotten about the phone, Andrea opens hers, takes a picture of the data and yelling “Fuck ya later!” dashes out of the room, a moment later they hear a shriek of surprise from Mitchell’s room where Andrea had left her stuff.

Mike turns back to face Nebel “Sooo what happened?” Nebel makes a unwilling face and Stephanie not overly interested in the conversation leaves the room. ”Do you want me to ask Bö?” he asks with a smirk.
“NO!” Nebel says... Bö would just tell him everything...maybe while piling stuffed animals on him or trying to put him in a headlock, but she would. “Ok, ok I’ll talk. I got caught up in the attack that was on the news... but I have no idea why they called it an attack.”
“Really!?” Mike says “Ok whatever I don’t really care all that much... go get your phone fixed and we’ll never talk about this again!”
“Ok.” Nebel says and Mike makes as if to leave before remembering Chris, grabbing him by the scruff of his shirt and dragging him out as well...
Nebel relaxes himself and spreads out on his bed “I guess I’ll just play CAIFELIT...” grabbing his choker he places it around his neck and turns it on. Instantly he feels a lot better, the worn out tattered feeling of remembered pain disappears and Nebel sits down on an easy chair in his VR space. Over at one side of his VR space was a door leading to a copy of his work room in the university and a beautiful wooden desk with matching chair was in the middle of the main room complete with pens, paper and a laptop... inside a VR space... but the comfy easy chair was by far the part of the VR space he used the most... on one wall was a collection of some of the hardest to acquire collectible items from various popular VR games including all of the one of a kind bobble heads from f**lout online and li*k’s hat from Z**da online, he also had a huge container full of others in a room on the other side of his work room but he rarely looked at those.
After a few minutes of lazing about, Nebel gets to his feet and picking up a book labelled “Cult Colony Planning for Dummies”, enters CAIFELIT, “Some of those demi gods have way too much free time...” Nebel mutters to himself as he appears on his stretcher in a flurry of pages with comments like “Drug both the Men and Women” and “Isolation is Key!” signing he uses some heat magic to burn them before anyone reads them... not that that was his plan!!!
Getting up from the stretcher, Nebel walks out from under the tarp they had covered his stretcher with, and makes his way to the rough work table where a short man he didn’t recognise was going over some plans. Seeing Nebel coming his way the man turns towards him and holds out his hand.
“Hello Baron Nebel. My name is Michael, I’m the urban development planner sent to help you govern your future fiefdom.” As he shakes hands with Nebel he looks around them “Even if it’s barely a land holding at the moment.”

“Nice to meet you, Michael. Do you have any idea if the technicians have finished the mining crane’s conversion?”
The man looks over at a piece of paper and responds to his question after scanning it with quotes “The first one is complete and two of the technicians have run off to play lumber jack “The others and Claire dono”!? Are finishing up with the hauling crane and will soon start building the store room.”
Nebel smirks at the use of the honorific “Claire most likely wrote it... well that’s good to hear, the store room should be done soon and then we can start building some simple buildings and set up the water system.”
Michael looks down at the plans again “The only real problem with the plans you left behind is the giant eunuch behind me...”
Nebel looks up at Oblivec and starts to laugh himself silly, the reason the desk had been set up in that exact spot was now visible to Nebel... a board had been lashed to his spear and was acting as the seat for the desk...
“Don’t worry; I’m going to deal with that myself.” Nebel tells him, grabbing a few stones out of a pile of rubble he starts enchanting them “It’s just another temporary fix but I’m going to move him into the center of this square and set up a few panel’s to automate the cooling.”
“Well that’s fine for now... what about a seat for the desk?” Micheal says wringing his hands.
“Yeah, it’s not like I want to use a spear rammed into some guy’s crotch as a seat either... I’m guessing that also was Claire...”
He was getting a lot better at making permanent spells and simple ones like these had become so easy to make he was done in only a few minutes, not wanting to waste his efforts, Nebel melts the ice on Oblivec’s head to see if he had any life in him...
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!” Oblivec starts screaming and Michael pulls away from the noise covering his ears.
Re freezing his head, Nebel starts to push Oblivec towards the middle of the square, once there he unfreezes and refreezes Oblivec in little areas, changing his stance and hardening the ice at the same time. Using the stones he had enchanted to continuously keep the ice cold, Nebel stands back after a few minutes of liquid manipulation, vector control and heat/cold manipulation to admire his handy work.
The spear was still imbedded in the ice and Oblivec was still completely covered but gone was the broken battle stance and pained look, instead Oblivec was bent over forwards with his hands gripping the spear and the spear itself was now stuck through his crotch in the opposite direction, from back to front... making it seem as if Oblivec had gone a little far with kinky masturbation... Nebel was still a little mad about how hard that fight had been...
As for the ice itself, it was now sleek and smooth instead of rough and filled with fractures...
“umm... Baron Nebel... Are you perchance thinking about using that Goblin as an ornament?” Michael asks him looking up at the goblin noble in the embarrassing position.
“Yup! ...well I’ll change the position to a kneeling down one when I can petrify him... and I’ll add in a statue of me but that’s pretty much the idea!” Nebel says with a smile before heading off to check on the technicians.
Michael stands there for a while looking up at the goblin noble... “Well at least he’s able...” he mutters scratching his bald head.
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_
Mitchell had just woken up and was just opening her door to get breakfast when Andrea slammed it open right in front of her, Yelling in surprise, Mitchell gets hit on the nose and falls on her butt.
“Damn it Andrea...” she says from the floor as Andrea rushes about the room throwing her things back into her bag.
Throwing it onto her back, Andrea yells “I have a date with destiny! See ya!” and runs out the door.
Signing Mitchell gets to her feet and walking out the door collides with Stephanie who was just about to enter. “Wow...!” Stephanie says losing her balance.
While Mitchell once again falls to the ground “Come on!” she shouts and Stephanie says a small “Sorry...” Before entering the room and collecting her things. “I have to go, i have class.”
After putting away a series of bondage outfits and sex toys, Stephanie comes back to the door and gives Mitchell a helping hand and a hug. “See you tomorrow, Mitchell.”
“Bye Stephanie.” Both of them walk together for a few meters and then Stephanie leaves towards the front door and Mitchell goes down the hall towards the kitchen.
Entering the kitchen she takes out a few sandwiches, Nebel had made in a gigantic amount, for herself, Lucca and Bö before making herself a coffee and heading back to her room.
Unlike Nebel, Lucca and Bö, Mitchell actually always had this day off so she was planning to play CAIFELIT for most of the day. When she peeked into Nebel’s room she could see him lying on his bed with his VR gear on... he might have the day off or maybe he was working on a project in his VR space, she didn’t really care, Nebel wasn’t the type to blow off university for gaming so if she saw him in CAIFELIT she would know that he had the day off.
Heading into her room she sits down on her bed and starts thinking about yesterday while sipping her coffee and eating her sandwiches... still blushing minutes later she places her plate and mug on her desk, grabs her VR choker off of its charger and placing it around her neck while lying down activates it.

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess.
