《Just For Fun》Chapter 32: part 2

Having left the office, Nebel heads back along the road towards the station. As he walks he decides to open the forgotten official letter he had been given before leaving to make his last trap. Like the last one it was an official letter with the sword emblem on the crest. Breaking it open with his thumb Nebel pulls it out and reads the contents as he gets on to the train.
The train would be departing for the academy in ten minutes and Nebel was eager to start his next lessons. Scanning the letter Nebel gets a pleasant surprise.
Congratulations are in order Alien Hero Nebel!
The council is extremely pleased with your accomplishments and expects a lot from your future endeavors! As a reward for your assistance in the other active fronts, the council is awarding you with:
Twenty men: to guard your well being or do your biding.
Five technicians: A Military expert for each of the following: mechanics, robotics, systems and magic to build or maintain anything you create or plan.
And for not only helping but securing the northeastern frontier to a very high extent: A title and ownership of the northern valley, should you manage to capture it.
Supplies for your attempt to capture the northern valley will be sent to the pass under guard of your men and the technicians when you desire them. Inform the adventurer’s office when you plan on attempting it with a day’s notice.
Here’s wishing for the continued survival of us all.
The Council
Nebel smiles widely thinking about everything he could do with technicians and land of his own! He could…
The train starts to move towards the academy as Nebel makes plans for the future.

Bö having watched a lot of nearly ancient movies with Nebel at the visual media museum with Nebel remembers a song from an old movie and starts to sing bits of it as her moving platform bucks around.

There’s a bunch of birds in the sky,
And some deers just went running by,
Ohhh, the snows pure and white on the earth rich
and brown…
“Oh speaking of dirt.” she says mentally pausing her song.
Bö lifts her hands and the ground surrounding her trembles, far below her she makes dirt and stones rise and then fall, rise and then fall.
As orcs scream when the ground switches between opening beneath them and throwing them up into the air, Bö returns to her own world, this time writing down a few bits of data she had gleaned from her last act… as if the battle raging around her wasn’t happening…
Nayder’s men, along with reinforcements that had arrived a few hours previously had decided to attempt to push the largest and last of the orc groups out of the farmlands. Bö having arrived just as they were leaving told them she was tagging along with them to glean more information on the orcs and hadn’t taken no for an answer.
An hour later Nayder was glad they hadn’t tried harder. When they were pushing the orcs out of the last few fields, which they were doing with ease, thanks to Nebel’s spells, the orcs had received reinforcements in the form of one hundred swords orcs.
Unlike the other orcs, these ones had some magic resistances thanks to higher quality gear and even though the mage that came with the reinforcements had been able to copy Nebel’s spells for the reinforcements, they only fully worked on the peons.
During this crazyness, bo, who had been watching from the sidelines the entire time, measuring the effects Nebel’s spells had, along with dozens of other points. Had poked her friends cheek said “Let’s play bubbles.” And the giant and bo had laughed together, her in a high lovely tone and him in a bass that shook everyone’s eardrums.

The giant or “Bubbles” as Nayder’s group started calling him from then on, walked straight into the fight with Bö on his shoulder and A TREE!!! Held in his hands….
Swing it left and right like it was a baseball bat, the giant started mowing down orcs with ease, the tree smashed the ground and cracked stones. The ground shook and animals ran from the area. All while Bö acting just like she was when just watching, was drawing, singing very old songs and occasionally wiping great swathes of the field with great shows of power as if absent mindedly trying something out…
Using earth she caused localized earth quakes by make dirt and stones shift other dirt and stone instead of hit them with directly manipulated material. Cooled and then burnt some of them by draining the heat into a fire ball which she then threw at them and sweeping dust storms across them that while not directly hurting them since the sand was moving too slowly, blinded some of them and annoyed the rest.
Their power was amazing, devastating and completely unexpected by both sides. Soon the battle turned into a one sided slaughter, as the orcs being barely able to handle Nayder and his men, were too busy dodging: “A TREE! And the very Elements!” to notice the men slipping in behind them, whenever they had the chance and cleanly running them through with their swords or smashing their skulls with a hammer.
As it was the orcs were getting more reinforcements every few minutes but “Bubbles” was taking out that many by himself and their numbers was about to disappear all together.
After the battle the men started to celebrate and they even managed to lift the giant onto their shoulders. Ten peoples shoulders…
The men called Bö “The Princess of Chaos”, to which she just frowned and asked them “Why are you calling me that!?” with a pout, before promptly falling unconscious with blood running out her nostril and ears…
The mage who had been helpful in the battle… but nowhere near bo’s level… walks up to her as this happens and stops everyone from helping her. “Don’t worry everyone!” he tells them “She just used too much power…”
The mage smiles wryly “Good to know she’s not all powerful! Wait bubbles what are you doing!?”
The giant picks up the mage and throws him twenty feet away… being a little over protective, to say the least. The Latino giant picks Bö up and carries her to a hay bale to rest before joining the rest once more at a fire they had started.
“Hey what was that for?” the fire mage Frederick shouts at the giant, who of course just ignores him.
i decide to fill out the scenes in the time skip!
I'll be leaving the time skip part alone until i'm done with it, at which point i'll delete the time skip itself and merge this post with that one.
this is so short because its meant to only be a part 2

The Humble Life of a Skill Trainer
For Joshua Still, Skills were the lifeblood of his business. He wanted to understand them, collect many of them, and teach a few of them. Which was a problem because while his profession of a Skill Trainer was perfectly legal, it was frowned upon by most of the kingdom. After all, it wouldn't do for a non-tailor to teach Tailoring. Or, so says the Tailors Guild. The same could be said by the Blacksmiths, the Bakers, the Butchers, the Candlestick Makers, the Mages, and every other Guild with enough money and clout to complain. But still, Skill Trainers provide a valuable service, and so he has managed to start his business and keep it under the table. To a degree. With many a bribe. But his quiet anonymous life of research, practice, and training was about to change. When the Baron demands you pay him a visit, you have little choice.

The Solipsist
Every novel needs a main character, and in this case, it's a young man named Jacob Bates. Jacob is your average guy who likes books, television, and long walks on the beach. One day, Jacob was diagnosed with a condition that made his body frail and weak. This drove Jacob to focus solely on his studies, ending up becoming a fairly capable guy, despite his condition. The road ahead was looking great! That's when a little scene occurred between Jacob's girlfriend and one of his male classmates. Jacob's mood was a little lower than dirt from thereon. His motivation to pursue his studies, gone. This event caused Jacob to fall into the death grip that is a job in retail. One day, while Jacob was mopping the cold floors of the grocery store he worked in, a strange blue screen appeared in front of him, notifying him that the world was going through a change. Now if this change was a good or bad thing, he didn't know. But there was one thing Jacob knew for certain. He didn't have to mop the floors anymore. Author's Note: (This is my first story, and I would be very thankful if grammatical errors were pointed out. I could also take a few suggestions in the comments if you would. This is less a planned production, and more a little project that I'm winging as it goes. I will try and be consistent with at least 2 chapters a week. Also, as I am a completely new author, the number of words per chapter may fluctuate. The minimum will be around 1000 words, while other chapters may be 2000-3000. It will hopefully only get better with time.)

The Human Traitor
Nearly two centuries ago, humanity committed a grievous taboo and liberated itself from the Worldrenders, a race of seemingly immortal creatures that dominates two of the three continents. The humans established the seven Foretoken families, swearing to never live in captivity again. In the present day, there is nothing but peace and poverty in Truweld. A poor young woman makes her money from raiding the Worldrenders' plantations. Meanwhile, a genius inventor, a man born from a Foretoken family, idles his days and his talent away. And from the northern mountains, the home of the Worldrenders, a boy with a troubled past marches to the land of the humans. He calls himself a Worldrender and wields their powers. His objective is simple: he will conquer the humans or exterminate them all. This is an epic fantasy story featuring three protagonists, a slew of high fantasy races, and several mysteries at its core. There is a minimum of one chapter (1000 words or more) each week.
