《Just For Fun》Chapter 14: Money! Fame! and oh crap let me out of here!!!!

Nebel was so happy! Just so Happy! Well anyone would be the bounties, materials and weapons they had collected from the goblin patrols they had tricked into their trap had added up to quite the amount! All together it was just about ten thousand HD!
A few hours had passed since they had gotten their bounty and although they were in front of the adventurer’s office they had already sold the loot they had collected.
Apparently his team was the first one to manage to kill higher tiered goblins so they had been given triple the normal bounty for being first, almost everyone one else was still busy learning to deal with the peons and those that had mastered killing those guys hadn’t thought moving on was such a good idea when they saw the goblins standing in rank…
Nebel was already contemplating how to continue his goblin slaughtering, as things stood he had to de activate the trap every day before late afternoon and he could only reactivate it the following morning. This would seriously limit the amount of goblins they could kill this way. They would still be able to kill hundreds a week but not the thousands he would have liked.
He needed another way…
A few meters away from Nebel, Mitchell and Lucas were watching him have his “riches gasm.”…
“I can’t believe you actually put that one sis, what were you thinking?” Lucas says pointing at the lump showing through Mitchell’s shirt on the edge of her neck.
Mitchell goes red and deflects the question with one she knew Lucas would never answer… or at least she thought he wouldn’t. “Soooo… Lucas, have you made THE decision yet.”
Lucas flinches but allows Mitchell to change the conversation. “I have, I got it scheduled for next month.”
“But… but but you’ve ignored it for so long why did you finally decide?” Mitchell stutters at Lucas.
“I only ignored it because I didn’t care about either option but I’ve figured out which.” Lucas says to her pumping his fist. “I can better serve our Lord having the same one as you.”
Mitchell looked left and right… “Well if you think it’s the one for you… fine but remember you can only make this choice once.”
“Don’t worry sister, I’m sure…. Hey where did our lord go?” looking over Mitchell’s shoulder towards the entrance to the adventurer’s office where Nebel had been celebrating his riches just a few moments ago…
Nebel had a bag over his head but he was sure… this time it wasn’t Maya! She would have raped him or at least kissed him already… nor was it Maria, she would have tied him up and here he had his hands free with only someone holding the bag down so that not even the slightest amount of light could reach Nebel’s eyes.
No, this time it was definitely not someone that had kidnapper him before… and he had quite a bit of experience with it. The Demi-gods, servants of the maker, while taking him and three people who had seen the events that had occurred, hadn’t tied them up, gagged them or even put a bag over their heads but had instead chatted with them, played video games with them, proudly displayed the path they took them along, told them the history of their order and even gave him a all year round partial pass to their head quarters after they were done debriefing him about Bö.

The government of his country had picked him up a few days later, boxing him in with agents and making it look more like a pick up then a forced summons. But they hadn’t tied him up, bagged or gagged him but he wished they had… instead they had put on a propaganda film and talked at length about how great their governing was…
One of his ex girlfriends turned out to be not only hot and five years older than him like he thought but also a woman married to a new rich idiot with more millions then IQ. He learned all about how they were happily married with two children while the tied up and gagged him was shown tens of pictures of her looking bored together with him. After a few hours of this pointless torture, the man had pulled out Nebel’s gag to see what he was trying to say and Nebel had simple told him to call the number marked emergency only on his phone. The man did so and after the call went though got progressively whiter before cutting off the call and not only asking Nebel’s forgiveness but also offering everything from mansions to his daughters hand in marriage. That was about a month ago; Nebel still went out with that guy’s wife once in a while.
Anyway… this time was very much like the third time but had a little of the second time, argg he hoped he wouldn’t be shown anymore bad pictures…
“I’m sure you know why we brought you here Hero class Alien Nebel.” A Voice in front of him said as he was taken out of the vehicle he had been taken into.
“Well actually, this time I don’t.” Nebel said as the bag was taken off of his head.
The woman revealed to Nebel gives him a quizzical look “this time…actually never mind I don’t want to know. We brought you here to tell you and a select few other alien’s about the current state of the human lands and too see if you can input any ideas to our council.”
Nebel puts his hands behind his head and leans on only his left leg. “Really? Out of all the people from my world I was chosen? How many others are going to be there.”
The woman opens a display and reads out the contents to Nebel, who she could see wasn’t impressed by the official greeting “Well besides the goblin slaying master trapper, that is you. There are five others. Nayder the Orc smasher who lead thirty strength type alien’s to the victorious routing of the orc peons that had been occupying the western farms. Synthia the fire bug, that blew up tons of rat men that were attempting to preach the eastern perimeter. Alan the Hero, that actually managed to organize a few hundreds of aliens into helping the eastern perimeter defense force. Maximus the crazy who ran deep into enemy territory and brought back valuable intel. And last a Little girl named Bö called the matron who showed the confused alien’s the ropes even though she had only learned them a little while ago herself…Alan and Nayder recommended her because most of their groups were taught by her…”

Nebel flinched at two of the names… other than the obvious one… “I sure as hell hope that’s not the Bö I think it is…”
Nebel looks back at the woman after face palming himself “I also hope that isn’t the Maximus and Synthia I know… What exactly were the criteria used to select us?”
The woman smiled at the word us and Nebel realized it to, he already recognized himself as one of them…just perfect… “Well they had to be Hero class, accomplished quite a bit in a short time and have a certain amount of let’s call it individualism.”
The woman flaps her hand towards Nebel “But don’t worry you were chosen for the problem solving you showed with those traps of yours, though we have got any actual report on them except for that’s how you did it. How many traps did you make?”
Nebel smirks at her and looks around them “Only one.”
The area they were in had the appearance of a gigantic dome at the center of the dome an elevator large enough for an industrial dump truck was there to ferry vehicles down from the city which was actually above them. Surrounding the elevator was what appeared to be mansions for every single big shot of the city. The dome itself had uv lighting on its entire surface and all of the mansions had their own perfectly manicured lawns, behind the woman was the largest mansion.
“Oh my god…” the woman was shocked “If we had known that you had killed that many mid power goblins with only one trap, you would have been the first one we picked up.”
Nebel walks up to the woman “Shall we.” He says and motiones her to show him in.
Inside the mansion, right in front of the entrance way was a grand set of stairways reaching up three floors. The woman still a bit in a overloaded daze leads Nebel up to the second floor and down a corridor. At the end of the corridor they pass through a set of double doors into a circular meeting hall.
Around the room are statues of various types of humans and in the center of the room is a holographic projector, around the projector is a circular table with twenty six seats placed around it, the woman points towards an empty seat and Nebel immediately sits down. On his left was a young man with no hair, a leather jacket on and crazy eyes. IT was the Maximus he knew… crap. On his right was a tall and curvy woman with wavy jet black hair, long silky smooth bare legs and azure eyes, she was wearing what appeared to be a sorceresses outfit like the ones from old games… double crap it was Synthia.
Around the table sat quite a few men but also nearly half of the people there were women. Almost directly across from him, Nebel caught sight of a petite girl who was without a doubt his little sister Bö who had been waving enthusiastically to get his attention… argg, she was dressed in a fox girl costume and a kimono. Seriously what was his mother teaching her!!!
He didn’t see anyone else he knew so he stayed as still as possible to not attract the attention of the two powder kegs to either side of him as he waited for the meeting to start.
“Hey, hey, hey if it isn’t the professor!!!” Maximus practically shouts in his ear. “I heard you got here by thinking so like you!”
Because of Maximus’ shout Synthia turns and sees Nebel. “OH NEBEL, long time no see! How about we go out after this boring meeting.” She smiles seductively but all Nebel could see was trouble “I could use some diversion.”
The last time he had seen the two…
Maximus had convinced him to join him for a little outing and the next thing Nebel knew he had been taken sky diving to the top of a mountain that required mountain climbing and skiing\snowboarding to go down… Nebel used to have a form of acrophobia where if he wasn’t in control of his descent he would freak out and be unable to stay calm… well he didn’t have it anymore…let’s just say he was cured and gloss over all the screaming and crying…
Synthia was a pyromaniac and a nymphomaniac, the last time he had hung out with her she had nearly killed him, admittedly in one of the ways men dream to die in and then left him hand cuffed to the bed after lighting a fire, that she later claimed was just to look at it for a moment but that she then forgot about… Nebel wasn’t all that sure about the truth of that claim…
So Nebel had decided to cut all ties to those two, just imagine what would happen: if Synthia heard about Maya’s state… or Maximus heard that he now had a phobia to being tied up around open flames…
The last few members of the council took their seats saving Nebel from having to respond to the two and the Meeting began.
I rushed the last bit since i'm tired so i might come back and flesh it out a bit later.

A-Live AI
The year is 2247. For almost two hundred years Sentient AI research has been banned. Everyone knew this, and yet no one has ever given up on finding the perfect setup for it. Restricted AI are rare, but possible to get ahold of if you have the money and the clout to get through the law for it. Especially when it deals with the military. Alfred Homis is an engineer and has spent the last three years working for the United Terran Military's Research and Exploration Department. Specifically to help build a 'shackled' AI who's prime directive was to explore potentially habitable worlds. Worlds that are far cheaper to colonize and add to the United Terran Directorate's fold than terraforming. During the AI's maiden voyage things go horribly wrong, taking Alfred Homis along for the ride. Thrown into a parallel universe where the laws of physics are just a little messed up, Alfred finds himself trapped inside the very machine he'd helped to build. Add magic, hostile fantasy creatures, and two different pantheons of 'Gods' to the mix and things get even more complicated. Oh, and an invasion between universes to boot. But that's just all in a days work though for Alfred, the AI Lord. Authors Note: Hi guys! Long time no see. And yes, I know that's all on me. But I blame life for that. Anyway, this is my new work, and I hope you guys enjoy it! The chapters are a little shorter than I'd previously posted in my other stories, but I cannot say that I have the same amount of time or energy to write them like that anymore. Sorry about that. Still, some warnings: There is cursing in this story. I am not going to edit it out. There will be sexual content later. Blood, gore and cruel depictions are all planned. If that isn't your thing, I'd suggest you turn back now. There is also my dry, and often not-so-funny sense of humor. And oh, it's all in first person gain. Haha. I just tend to write better that way. If none of that bothers you, then enjoy the read! Feel free to comment, point out mistakes, or make suggestions! Reviews are nice too, but please lay off the criticism until the story gets good and going. Thank you. Note 1: Some edits to the synopsis.

Cursebreaker
I'm not writing this anymore unfortunately, and I probably won't ever continue it. I guess writing is more difficult than I thought Reto Mason woke up on a mountain, and it was all downhill from there. Until they hit floor, at which point I'm surprised they didn't die to be honest. That is, they didn't die yet. We'll see what happens This is a LitRPG which does have levels and stats, but is more focused on Accomplishments, although expect some more classic RPG stuff in the future. The main focus is on skills, and skill modification/evolution in that regard. Expect some weird 4th dimension stuff eventually, and the weird things that come from there.
