Chapter Fifteen: The Children Part Two
It took most of my will not to step back in surprise at the sudden appearance of the all the Defiled, and Rashid’s firm grip on me I guess, but I manage.
I almost begin to shake to at the fact that I hadn’t noticed them at all till they were practically right in front of me. My stomach began to sour at the notice of it, and my fists open and close as angry begins to fill me.
I let it flow through me and I close my eyes, I start to take deep breaths. I don’t want to let my rage control me right now, we need to be as calm and collect as possible to make it out of this situation alive-
Shunk, splat, shunk, splat, shunk, splat. For the brief second that I closed my eyes that’s all I could hear. The beautiful sound of flesh ripping, innards falling out, and blood dripping to the floor, but magnified by the sound of it happening over a thousand times.
My eyes open to see that rage is an option, after all, seeing all the Defiled in eyesight being skewered by bright silver stakes. Most of them look dead or dying, while others are opening their mouths to try and scream out but couldn’t, probably due to the massive fucking stakes in their torso, and some others are feebly scratching at the stakes or trying to pull themselves off. It’s kinda of sad really, I mean some of them looked kinda strong. But Rashid fucking dominated them, he didn’t even leave me any that I could see to fight that old dick.
But the more I stare at the abominations before me the more I realize why I couldn’t sense them. Even in this their state before me, it takes me a second before I could understand why these things aren’t living. They don’t have a heartbeat, yeah yeah I know skewed through the chest and all that, but even if they’re skewed through the chest the heart should still be pumping blood through the body till it bleeds out, but I can’t hear the sound of the blood moving through the body. They I notice that their lungs didn’t move either, so they didn’t breath either, then finally I realize that they didn’t smell either like they emit no odor.

Yeah! That totally explains why I couldn’t find them, definitely not my fault at all. Definitely not my fault. It’s just these cheating bastards don’t live like the rest of us normies!.... Hey, wait if they’re still alive, maybe I can still fight them right?
Then Rashid speaks with a voice so deep and strong, that it causes my bones to shake. “Where is the rest of your army?”
Lod just stares at Rashid blankly
Rashid’s voice cracks “That was it wasn’t it?”
Lod looks away.
Then like a broken dam an uproarious, dry and deep laugh booms from beside me, nearly deafening for a second as Rashid laughs so hard I swear, despite him nearly deafening me, that I can hear his bones rattle underneath his cloak.
I lean away from Rashid as he laughs his heart out, and I check out our two guests to see if they’re alive. And to my surprise, they seem just fine, other than their clothes being slightly ripped. They stare with awe and fear at the silver and bloody wonderland around them before they register what happens. But when it does Lod step protectively in front of Cain who herself falls to her knees shaking. Lod moves to pick her up but stops to keep an eye on me and Rashid, who’s still laughing his heart out, when he notices he makes a gesture at the Defiled, only for Rashid to whip he hand out and says in between his laughs. “Bwaha. None of... Haha.. that… Haha!”
Chains emerge from the stakes entangling the defiled trapped upon them. The chains grow tight and taut on them, till the Defiled are bulging out in between the chains painfully and ways that make me hungry, like a piece of meat strung up with string. Then the chains move like a flash of silver lightning and then Defiled are gone, are that’s left are the silver death, pieces of white bone, and ink black liquid everywhere that spray out till it seems the chains whip out like hungry viper and take it, and soon there’s no trace the Defiled even existed.

I couldn’t help but take a slight breath at the sight I just saw before me. It’s not every day you see an army be taken out right in front of you with zero effort, or whatever amount of effort it took Rashid. The duo over there seems to get it to, and they stay absolutely still.
Rashid stops laughing and looks at the Duo with tears streaming down his leathery and wrinkly face, well that’s gross. He shouts to them , despite the fact there’s no other sound to interrupt him, in an abnormally high pitch and tight voice that seems like he could break out laughing anytime. “Haha, that was hilarious what you did right there. I mean, c’mon did you really think that you could take me with just that, that right there,” He points to the empty library full of stakes. “Just a couple thousand Defiled, that’s a warm up. Hell I bet this fuck up right here,” He pats my head ruffling my hair, and I restrain the urge to kill him. “ could have taken them.” Hey, I am that remark.
Then Rashid breaks out laughing again, and Lods face flushes crimson and he trembles, but then suddenly stops and looks at Rashid his face the picture of calmness, and he says neutrally and placid “Demon’s Warden.”
A stake file by his face.
“Yes?” Rashid says in a sing-song voice.
“What will it take for you to let us leave in peace?”
“Hmm, I wonder? You did attack first, so I have every right to obliterate you where you stand.” Rashid says down right sadistically.
Lod coughs embarrassed, and says tightly “Yes I did, and I ask you Demon’s Warden for your kindness and forgiveness.”
Rashid taps a finger on his chin, damn I wish I had something to eat, and says sweetly “Well since you asked so politely….”

A real-life RPG you say? That sounds like perfect place to spend eternity! What’s the catch? Ryan is supposed to kill one of these goddesses somehow. (Technically there is a third goddess, but no one really cares about her) Secondly Ryan can’t die in this world without completing his mission here. If he does, straight to hell he goes. Thirdly, right from the start of spawning into this world, he has an annoying clingy emo/scene cat-dog rogue girl fall in love with him. This would be great in all If Ryan didn’t hate furries. Ryan will realize no matter how hard he tries he just can’t lose this clingy disaster. Forth: Living in an RPG world is great and exhilarating but when the class you choose to roll seems to be just as emo as you are, interesting things are going to happen. You better hold on tight; destiny holds in store for Ryan a Twisted Romance, tons of betrayal, a life full of dark twists and turns, and an adventure that will make or break him in this strange new world. Welcome to Lectioterra Adventurer! (Please DO NOT buff the Raid boss) (Please note i am quite aware that book one was written with quite a few thousand errors. I took a break from writing for ten years and had to relearn a lot of things. I learned quite a lot from writing 100+ chapters so far. I will go back and edit book one’s chapters after I get book two finished. If you all want to point out the errors in the earlier chapters I will gladly edit those things ASAP)
