Chapter Nine: Quest Rewards Part Five
Morgan leaves after talking with me, but I wait till she’s out of sight to wave Julian and George over. It takes a moment or two for them to realize I’m inviting them over, but they walk over once they get the message. Once they’re close enough I burst out with laughter at the sight of them and soon enough Vanessa does too but then lose interest going back to eating.
Julian is wearing a torn up princess costume that reveals him to have a nicely toned body, and lipstick going down his chest and a suspicion looking bruise on his neck, and George is wearing nothing beside a bra, thong and high heels, also he’s fairly beat up with a very noticeable black eye. Julian glowers at George while I’m laughin at them, and George chuckles along with me slightly nervous.
I stop laughing once I feel a wave of heat, and look over to see Julian pointing a fireball at my pork chops with a dangerous look in his eyes. I get the message, I may like laughing at people but I want to protect the sacred meat. He then takes a seat, and keeps giving George a death glare who’s nervous chuckling just increases.
George sits down but keeps a respectable distance from Julian, and before I ask him a question he holds his hands up and says “Wait before you ask me anything mate, let me adjust my jewels.” Then reaches down and starts adjusting, after a second or two he gets comfortable and says happily “Ahh, much better! You have know idea how much a pain in the ass this is,” He points towards his crotch, “They ride up in all the wrong places an-” I hold my palm out and say quickly “I’ll just stop you there and take your word,” George grins and nods his head. I continue “So what’s with the get up?”

George lights up and says excitedly “You like it, I made them I myself! I know they’re great, I may not be much of a tailor but they still came out great! Right Julian?!” He turns to Julian and asks, he responds by raising a hand blasting George out of the booth and I laugh, and Julian's frown slightly raises up. George climbs back into the booth and says “Well if you don’t like just say so, it no reason for violence…. Bwahaha! Good job mate I never saw it coming, but please do tell me what you didn’t like about the costume.” I nod my head in agreement but then ask “So was there more to your costume and why did you dress up anyway?”
George looks at me with confusion before saying “Yes there was it just got… lost. And does there have to be a reason to dress up and feel pretty?” He then gets up and does a twirl before dancing away, and giving me a good look of his athletic frame I’d never wanted to see, but now would probably never get rid of. Surprisingly Julian speak up and says softly “It’s because you went on a quest, so that monkey over there” pointing to George who has made his way on stage and taking over… much to crowds approval, huh he can actually dance pretty well. Julian continues “Wanted to have a story to tell you when you got back and took us out for drinks…. But I don’t think he ever got as far as a plan just an Idea really but what was it….” He pauses and thinks with a finger on his chin but before he can continue George returns with a very visible sweat and notes tuck into his thong, he then sits down interrupts Julian.

Georges coughs clearing his chest and says “Like I was saying you don’t need a reason to dress up! If you want to feel pretty you better damn well do it, if not you're just denying yourself and killing yourself oh so slowly! So what if I want to-” A thought struck me mid Georges rant well two thoughts really, “That’s nice an gay and all, but two things where is Damon and Julian why did you dress up too?” Julian attempts to speak but George covers his mouth while looking everywhere but me and says unconvincingly “Oh he’s…. Around here somewhere…” He pauses “Maybe… and anyway Julian is free to dress however he wants! And doesn’t have to answer to you so we bid you a good day sir!” Julian then blast George out of the booth again into the adjacent wall, and says “I’m not going anywhere, plus I’m hungry.” I pull my platter closer to myself.
.”So George why are so defensive?”
“It’s not me that’s defensive it’s the world that's defensive! By the way we should gets some drinks soon I’ve this great story to tell you that happened while you we’re go-” George didn’t get to finish as a murderous looking Damon tackles him down. Screaming “You left me for dead you bastard! Those girls we’re going to rape me to death!” Ooh I’ve gotta hear this!
I get a good look at Damon as he’s pinning George to the ground and attempting to tear his throat out. He like the other two is wearing a women's clothing, but his is the least damaged, his clothes though is a stereotypical school girl uniform, which he pulls off better than George would but less than Julian so I guess seven out of ten, though it’s also torn in places and he’s also bruising on his arms and legs.
Me, Julian, and Vanessa are watching intently to see who would come out on top, but then Morgan seemingly materializes out of thin air and pulls the two apart. She walks over to the booth and drops them down in it before grabbing Julian, who say “Oh now I remember” George screams “NO! It’s supposed to be a surprise for him!” Damon goes for his throat screeching “I almost got killed over a ArchWizard blazing surprise!” Julian continues uncaringly “We were trying to sneak into the girls lot.” A thought occurs to me as the pair leaves “Hey Morgan who do I go to pay here?” Morgan laughs saying evilly as she leaves “Don’t worry about the bill, I’ve got all the payment I need. Huahuahaha”
I look to my empty plate and then to Vanessa “You ready to get our pets?” She nods her head energetically and we leave.

Truck-kun Gets Sacrificed
Driscoll is my own version of a world with a game-like "system" of endless possibilities. MC has his own status, classes, skills, magic, and a living greatswordstaff in a world of monsters, demi-humans of all kinds, and even the supernatural. Sound good? Well, at first for Tru, it was a dream come true(I'm sorry). At least until reality hits him again and again. His quest from God is vague and must be discovered by him along the way. Hopefully, he can figure that out someday but for now, this new world's threats and his potential for power are motivation aplenty. With His new partner by his side, he's ready to embark on his mission of infinite sacrifice, however many lives it takes. The setting is pretty standard for fantasy, with my beginner attempts at writing. Litrpg elements are definitely involved here but It'll calm down as the story progresses and the world's foundation is laid. Judeo/Christian themes and principles take a major role and will be a backbone for much of the story. The fights will paint a picture in the mind rather than just be a bunch of number crunching. While he is meant to be a sacrifice to save all of Driscoll, he needs to gain enough power and influence to be a worthwhile sacrifice, or so he thinks. And so carnage will ensue as he avoids death as best he can while at the same time sacking himself for others. Truck Coon is your average determined, jiu-jitsu practitioner, tax associate that just started his new career. He dies to save kids from a semi-truck(Truck Coon got truck-kun'd, making him Truck-kun) and is transported to another world rather conventionally by God. Upon his arrival, he is quickly confronted with his first conflicts in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Chapters are currently between 2300 and 4000 words and I try to post weekly, but also deal with severe limitations that cause late posts often. I have zero actual experience with writing stories and only recently started reading web novels in 2020. If you end up hating it, let me know your thoughts in a detailed comment or review, especially if you love it though :D I want to get better and welcome the feedback, so expect changes to be made with any flaws that y'all point out which I don't already have plans to address in future chapters. That being said, keep it constructive in nature, please. I have no Idea how the formatting and such will go, so if you like or dislike some techniques I try, give me that well-appreciated feedback!
