Team Spicy Chicken, and why Ichiro focuses on Dexterity

Ichiro was psyched, really psyched about going into an actual Dungeon! Sure he didn’t really have the physique for it, given his current chubbiness, but from what he heard people with high Dexterity have slimmer bodies…

He already had a Class that affected Dexterity growth, and a Skill for it too… he’d make that his ‘max’ skill.

He was pretty sure he didn’t need all that much Endurance anyway.

“Ichiro, focus.” Ichiro felt the glare of the class president at the side of his head, but he just chuckled at the glare…

The president of his class, Miya Tanabe, was a neighbourhood friend from his childhood, and she was always harping on him about his otaku ways and how he would never succeed with only anime knowledge.

Ha, showed her, with a Dungeon, levels, Skills, magic, Ichiro was perfectly suited for this new job and immediately announced his intention to be an Adventurer.

This roped her in by default, saying that she couldn’t expect Ichiro to survive for long without someone keeping him in check, and so she joined his team, dragging along with her three of her friends, and Ichiro’s fellow otaku who became an Artificer, creating a six man team.

Though Ichiro was quite certain that Miya was a tsundere based on just this…

“Oh trust me, I’m focused.” Ichiro said, walking up to the Dungeon Podium, waiting for it to synch their LEV’s together.

Following the burning sensation, Ichiro looked at the podium, which was asking for a team name.

“Hey, wasn’t there supposed to be a team-” Before Miya could question anything, Ichiro decided to act… for the LOL’s.

“Team Spicy Chicken!” He shouted, and with that, the future Japanese Chosen team had their fate decided… no one would ever take them seriously with a name like that…

As a side note, Ichiro was once into Kendo before discovering Anime, which resulted in his fat appearance as he no longer exercised, instead focusing on buying new merchandize.

The unexpected use of Spark Step.

“Arthur, Arthur, you have to come with us.” Arthur turned from his position at his computer to look over at his father… who was painted green with elf like ears and carrot shoes.

“…Is that… cosplay? Why?” Arthur asked, looking over to his mother who was wearing a blue wig.

“There’s a convention nearby… come on, let’s just dye your hair yellow for a bit, and we can go.” Arthur desperately hoped his mother wasn’t planning what he thought she was planning.

In about an hour he was at a convention occasionally activating Lesser Spark Step to spike his hair back. The lightning added to the effect… he won first place by the way.

What Matt does with his spare time

*Censored*

And thus Matt went home.

That one time Michael was high

“Yo… hey Arthur… Yo man, listen… could you make some coffee man?” Arthur looked to his best friend with a sigh, already smelling what had happened.

“Sure, any requests?” Arthur looked to Michael who blinked blearily, his eyes a bloodshot red.

“Man… man… I want… I want… two coffees with my sugar.” Arthur blinked, trying to translate.

“Oh wait… how about… three forks of creamer.” Arthur just blandly stared at his friend before leaving to the kitchen.

Michael sobered up quickly once he tasted coffee with salt in it.

Why there was salt in Michael’s coffee

“Did he really just say that?” Arthur heard Alice ask as he turned to see Michael’s sister on her phone, looking up from the device with a raised eyebrow.

“Yes he did. Got a solution?” Arthur asked as Alice’s smile turned a bit sinister.

“Yes… let me make his coffee.”

Skill Confusion

“Hey Arthur?” Arthur turned to his healer John.

“Yeah John, what’s up?” Arthur turned back to his game, hoping that the boss didn’t hurt him too much.

“One of my skills is saying that I need Wisdom to use it… does that mean it’s going to take the Wisdom?” John’s question actually caused Arthur to pause long enough to die in the boss fight.

“…Well, I can get there again. Listen, John, when it says required Wisdom, it’s referring to how many uses you will get. If it says you get two uses, plus one use every five wisdom, then if you had fifty wisdom you could use the Spell twelve times a day, get the idea?” Arthur asked, getting a nod from John.

This is for any confusion on those Spell Skills, because I was asked twice for clarification, so I’ll just add this here.

The reason why Agent/Cardinal George Clements is not included more often.

“AIEEEEEYOOOHEAOYOYOYOYOYOYOYOYOYOYO!”

“For the last time, that is not, a mighty eagle noise!”

“YOU WILL RESPECT MY AUTHORITON!”

“That isn’t even a word!”

“I do not care for your oblongascity Marvin.”

“Why the heck do I deal with you?

“You deal with me because I pay you obscene amounts of money to be my straight man.”

“Do you have a skew one?”

“Yes, I call him Olivia instead of Oliver.”

“That was rhetorical.”

“Your mother’s rhetorical!”

“That was not an insult.”

“You want me to get worse!?”

“Oh god no.”

“Gott ist tot.”

“Stop quoting Nietzsche.”

“How the heck did the divine marshmallow know how to spell that?”

“He didn’t, spell check helped.”

“Marvin! You didn’t tell me you were a Seer!”

“I was joking, you retarded… never mind.”

“I resent that, I am not a never mind.”

“Yet you do not resent being called a retard?”

“Not at all.”

And such conversation would be repeated ad infinitum. And for the record, typing oblongascity confuses autocorrect so much it has no alternative spellings for it.

What Chronos does in his spare time

Deep, within the depths of Hell, there was a throne, and seated upon this throne was a being of immense power…

A being of immense power who happened to be lounging over the armrests of said throne while finishing his Sudoku.

“I knew conquering Hell would be worth it, it’s the only place where you find Hell difficulty Sudoku after all.” The devil himself hummed the funeral march as he ticked off another number.

"...I wonder when those human's are going to get here... so boring..."
