"Why do you want to take revenge that bad? You're not a kid anymore. Stop this."
"Stop? You humiliated me. I won't let go easily."
"Just make it fast. There's no one on the store."
"I brought many good fighters with me. You won't have your way of using such petty tricks anymore."
"Yeah, yeah. Just come already."
"Come on men. Beat the shit outta him."
"Sigh– come."
I'll save for now I guess.
After saving. He returned immediately.
There are many junks here. Even though I left my baton in the store. I still have so many wepons to choose from. There are five. Excluding that bastard. Some of them have good builds. And if what he claimed that they are good fighters is real. Then I have to be a little bit careful on this. Anyways. I could just load anytime.
The first one closes in and Takeshi immediately gets hold on a nearby wooden plank. Which is abundant right now in this alley.
The enemy threw a punch so fast but Takeshi managed to dodge it somehow. He then sent a counter by thrusting the plank on his jaw so hard he immediately blacked out.
"Tsk! Come on! Beat him up!"
A man manages to sneak behind Takeshi and then grabbed him from behind so he can't move.
"Now!" The one who grabbed him shouted to the other fighter.
He strikes extremely hard onto Takeshi's stomach. But then. There was something hard beneath.
"Fuck! What was that!?" He shouted.
"Haha. Dumb." Takeshi replied casually.
He headbutted the one immobilizing him and then showed what's beneath his clothing.
"I sneak this while your "leader" there is babbling. Stupid bunch."
"You fucker! My nose!" The one
Takeshi turned around to face the second. It threw a heavy punch but Takeshi easily evaded. He took the metal plate from the trash earlier and then shoved it straight onto his throat.

"Guah!"
He immediately fell onto his knees and when he did so. Takeshi delivered a devastating kick right onto his face.
"Three left."
He immediately grabbed the plank as the third rained down a flurry of punches.
Shit. I can't dodge all of them.
They are fast but Takeshi still manages to evade many of those.
"Fuck your arm!"
As he saw a window. He immediately hit his right arm with the plank. Which in turn deals a great amount of pain on the attacker.
"Kuhh…"
At the same time as the attacker backs off a little. He grabbed a drum. Intending to put it on him but another one came running and pinning him onto the wall as he holds the drum up, ready to be shoved on any unfortunate one of them.
"Fine. Then take his place." He said to the fourth one before shoving it onto him but manages to give him a punch onto the gut before that.
"Fuck…" Takeshi exclaimed in pain.
After fitting it on him. He smashed his left knee with his weapon using a few blows and kicked him away to roll.
"You bastard! How dare you!" The third which he previously hit the arm with his weapon run towards him.
"Pinning me again to the wall..."
He kicked his balls with great force he yelped.
"Y-you bastard."
The attacker then gave him a good powerful headbutt.
"Headbutting me is useless. This is done to me every single time."
"Fuck y–"
Takeshi's left hand then came into his sight. With two of its fingers out.
Before he knew it. His eyes throbbed with pain. Takeshi then like a wild predator bit him onto the nose and some of its flesh visibly came out.
"Wahh!!!"
As he suffered a great deal of pain.
"I'll return the favor."

Using his plank. Then released blow after blow until he couldn't stand anymore and lost consciousness.
"... One left."
He glanced over the direction of the last fighter.
"Come." He invited.
"Don't fucking underestimate me. They're just underlings. I'm the real deal."
"Really? Fine."
They clashed and fought. Moments later.
This one is good. He could keep up with my speed? Interesting... Takeshi mused
"Don't you dare be thinking of anything!"
"Let's end this." Takeshi said as he dodges attacks
Each dodge. Takeshi would then hit him with the wooden plank. But seems to not be very effective as he could withstand the force.
"You bastard!" His enemy shouted.
At that moment. A powerful right punch which Takeshi is unable to dodge came straight on his left cheek.
He flew away after that powerful attack. Almost losing consciousness.
"Hah. You're nothing."
At that moment. A memory that has been lingering within him awakens.
"Ahh… I remembered it now. It was like this the first time I met him."
Back in the old days.
Takeshi was fighting a group. He successfully defeated double the number of people he's currently fighting at the present. But there is one person who completely surpasses him and he couldn't defeat him.
"You're dead now. Bitch."
"Pant– pant–" Takeshi's down after receiving a straight on the face.
"What's in here?"
A man arrived onto the alleyway.
"Geezer. Get lost. Can't you see we're having fun here?" Takeshi's enemy called out.
"Why are you fighting then?"
"That's none of your business. Get lost or I'll carve your eyeballs out."
"Such an insolent bastard. Fine, I'll leave. Hey, kid over there. If you're fighting a street fight. Everything and anything is allowed. Just don't kill. You could make them unconscious but don't overdo it. There are two rules in a street fight."
As Takeshi currently thinks back on to those memories.
"Oh yeah…. Many people eat noodles so there are chopsticks here."
The first rule is. Don't fall on the ground. Especially when you're fighting a group. Every street fighter loves their enemies being in such a position.
The enemy then walks closer on him and arrived in front of him.
The second rule is. Always be wary of the enemy's hands.
"I guess I have to take your instep!"
He then stabbed him on the foot using the chopstick he got.
"Kaahh… you bastard!"
"Chopsticks goes in pairs."
Takeshi then sharpened the other one using the edge of the previous metal plate that he immediately snatched on the ground and immediately goes back up
"M-monster…"
The enemy exclaimed as he looks onto Takeshi's eyes.
Like a wild beast clawing its prey to death. Takeshi lacerated and sliced him up multiple times until he fell.
"I finally remembered. It's because of him… that I started using weapons."
"D-don't get near me! I'm warning you!"
"Why is that?"
"Y-you wouldn't want the wrath of our boss!"
"Why wouldn't I want that?"
"Our boss! Is my big bro! If you dared touch me! He holds some powers in the brotherhood!"
"Brotherhood?"
"Y-yeah! That's right! If you dare do anything to me! The whole brotherhood will come after you! No matter where you are from Tokyo! So go scramming! You should know your place! Haha. You can't touch me now." Izu said it with a grin.
"Oh? Well. It seems that I don't know anything about the brotherhood."
"Uhh… Oi! D-don't you dare!"
"Heh."
"Noo!!!"

Adagio of the Enlightened
The Elders will tell you the stories and lore. Of our ancestors, their deeds, and of the foes of yore. They will praise to you the chariot, and how it flew to the stars. How it stole the sun's light and slew the night’s roar. The Shamans will tell you the tales of their wisdom. Their wars on schism, and the unlettered world of ours before. Perhaps they will sing you the songs of what our clans' ancient customs tore. Poems of how our ancestors took what the discs had offered them, the manna and the mundane, and made it more. The kings will tell you of the follies, the sins, and the anecdotes of all our ancestors' wrongs. They will curse to you their names, the Ender of Fate and the Ruined Song. How they had dug up the hearts of the discs, euchred its relics, and blasphemed its prophecies, with oracles withdrawn. But they will only tell you the legends, recount the myths, and sing the allegories washed ashore. The Elders, the Shamans, and the kings can only retell what the storytellers of their own time had voiced. What they have read in books or heard in the minstrels' songs they adore. They don't know what really happened. They were never there. They can't tell you how our ancestors slew the angels from the sky, and sent them back to where they belonged. How they poisoned our minds, and made our people slothful and feeble, with the reforms they had undergone. But I can.I can tell you how the Ender of Fate severed destiny's strings, weakened them, and weaved them to our feeble flesh and souls.I can tell you how the Ruined song razed the heavens with her blood-stained melody, and reshaped our hell into utopia, with the deaths she deplored.Because I was there. I can tell you the truth, with my virtue strong. ----> Disclaimer: This will be a slow-burn, character-driven, non-harem, slice-of-life web novel with cultivation and kingdom-building elements. 8 155Eusocial
There's a reason people made the word improbable. Just because something would never happen based on common sense or reason, doesn't mean it can't happen. For example, a soul maintaining their memories through the River of the afterlife, a stream of ethereal energies that remove and store memories from the recently departed only to return when they die again. Another example, a soul by it's sheer will maintaining awareness during the process of a new body's development; nearly infintesimile chances of happening, but there is still a chance. Hi, you can call me Esseu (S U) and I managed to do both of those nearly impossible things back to back. My reward for such a feat? I was turned into a glorified bee keeper. 8 132[Don't] Fear the Dragon!
Do yourself a favour and, if the chance to become a dragon in a different world ever arrives, reject it as kindly as possible. As for myself? I didn't have much say in the matter. I've wanted one thing, and one thing alone in this life—to be left alone. But these humans are beyond stereotypical. None of the other dragons let them in on the secret that we only hoard treasure in order to bait the fools. Or how it's a common belief that we eat humans for breakfast. Seriously! Not even a village would substitute as a snack. How do they think people taste anyway? Gross! But it doesn't matter if you hide away in your cave, doing nothing. Some hero is bound to find and attempt to slay you anyways. Or weird cultists offering sacrifices at your door. But there was this princess that asked me to kidnap her one time. Now that was an interesting one... [Updated daily at 11 PM | EST!]
8 235The book of forever
An experimental diary of sorts recounting my life and experiences, written as a slightly whimsical scifi story about setting off from the past to unknown lands, rebuilding from nothing and finding myself again. The first section of the book contains matched chapters, a chapter for a interlude, both happening at the same time roughly The second section of the book contains more one off stories as we follow one of the travelers explore their heart as well as a unknown land, growing in the process. All of the text here was written in 10 syllable chunks, this reads like a epic of sorts, just with more philosophical focus and POV jumps. Hope you enjoy! >Updates may be sporadic as I only write when I have something about myself I want to share The chapters can all be read individually, although there may be some crossovers between them they work as single poems. You start at whatever chapter you want since these are a collection of roughly connected poems (although you'll notice tie ins and references to eachother)
