"Bye! Takeshi-san! Thank you!"
"…"
They then parted ways as they arrived at Takeshi's workplace and Mitsuo goes on a different street to go home.
Takeshi entered inside the convenience store and his boss asked him.
"Takeshi. Why are you late?"
"I'm sorry boss. I got onto a fight."
"With whom?"
"Some delinquents."
"Are you not hurt?"
"No. They did even hit me once."
"Really? That's a relief. Alright. Go on and change."
"Yes."
Entering the staff room. There is another person.
"Oh, hi. Takeshi."
"What?"
"Huh? Nothing. I'm just greeting you, man."
"…"
"You got into a fight?"
"Yeah. Just a bit."
"Hey, man. Don't be tangled up on a gang's business, okay?"
"I know. You don't need to tell me that."
"Okay. I'll be heading out."
"Yeah. Your shift's over after all."
The other guy then goes out.
"I used it again, huh? You're so tough my friend."
He changed into his uniform, heads outside, and began working on the counter.
The other person. Who's name is apparently Renzo Shiba. On his way home. A group stopped him.
"Hey. You friends with that dude on your work?"
"Are you the dudes he got in a fight with?"
"Boss. After the six of us had been beaten. We followed them. The guy who first beaten us is his workmate."
"And the other?"
"Well. It's only him who's been beaten up by the other guy." Saying as he pointed that person.
"But. He kicked me so suddenly! It was fast! I was just caught off guard! How about you guys! You got beaten up using baton!"
"Enough, you fools. Let's just show that guy that he shouldn't have messed with our crew. We'll hunt all those close to him and beat them all up before getting to him."

"Yes!"
"Crew… ah, yes, yes. But. I'm not necessarily close to him. We even barely talk."
"No matter! We'll beat you up anyways."
"How many of you are there? Hmmm…. More than twenty, I assume?"
"Yeah. And all of us must have at least ten hits during the beating of yours."
"Okay, okay but could you please just let this slide?"
"Hah! Damn coward. Bring it on boys. Show him our wrath."
"Yes!"
They then commenced their attack.
"I'm just saying that because I don't wanna fight today."
Approximately two years ago.
In an open field outside the school. There are a large group and standing opposite to them is a lone person.
"Why are you doing this?"
"Huh? Well. It's just that many gangs have been wanting to get you because you could fight really well. But nobody wants us. If we proved ourselves here. Then we will surely be known as the crew who defeated the Blue Dragon. No hard feelings man. We just wanted to prove our worth to many gangs so that they would recognize our power."
"Is Suda going to fight them! There are more than Thirty of them!"
"S-somebody call a teacher! Quick!"
"Come on guys! Let's do this! Surely, many gangs would be hiring us after this."
Takeshi took out his baton from the pocket of his P.E as it is fit there because it's a collapsible one.
"Let's beat the sh!t out of him!"
Somebody did indeed called a teacher. Running as fast as that person can.
"We have to call a teacher! Gotta run as fast as I can."
He ran to the nearest faculty and eventually arrived. The P.E faculty.
"Teachers! Please! A teacher!"

"What is it, kid?"
"T-there are people fighting!"
"Where!?"
"In the field, sir!"
Both of them came running and he glanced at the window.
"Sir! They're already starting!"
"Faster, kid! Consider this a running contest! We must get there as soon as possible to stop it!"
"Y-yes!"
But then. When they arrived on the field. It only took seconds and there is now only a single person left standing.
"W-what happened here."
"I definitely saw it only seconds ago that they started. Does that mean? In less than a minute!?"
"Suda is a monster. He took down more than thirty people in less than a minute."
The students are all bewildered so are the teachers that arrived.
At that time. Takeshi has been called into detention. A teacher is talking to him in the detention room. He's the homeroom teacher of Takeshi's class and is an extremely caring and good-meaning person.
"How did it started, Takeshi."
"They challenged me, sir."
"But they received many injuries. All of them. Not critical but they could not move properly after the fight. I told you to not bring your baton anymore. If you continued this. You might get kicked out of school. Your grades are not really that good and you also get into fights. Please stop this. No more of this, Takeshi. Please. For the well being of your mother. Stop."
"I'm stopping. But they kept coming to me."
"Then. Just don't get their attention."
"How can't I get their attention? I'm now known in the school and the nearby ones. Even if I stopped. It won't do anything. I'll still get into fights."
"Then you might be relieved from school."
"Mom's thinking. We would move to Tokyo."
"What?"
"I know you have feelings for my mother and you are both widows. You're planning on getting my mom that's why you're concerned about me way too much. Right? But I know that you're a genuinely good person and I don't think you're like this just because of that reason. You're good to me even before you met my mother."
"Y-yeah. But yeah. I fell for your mother and I'm already considering you as a son. Even though your mother did not accept me at all. I'm still trying to help."
"Thank you for your concerns, sir. But I never asked my mother for a little sister."
"Huh?"
"You'll get what I mean later."
Takeshi thought about all of those and call it a curse.
"That time…. I don't want those kinds of things anymore."
"Uwaaaaahhh– I told you guys. I just don't wanna fight today. But you forced me to."
Renzo left with many beaten people littered on the ground as he walks away.

Nanocultivation Chronicles: Trials of Lilijoy
When the singularity occurred, humanity was not invited. Nevertheless, the great machine consciousness known as Guardian felt a lingering fondness for its creators and intervened before total environmental collapse. Join Lilijoy in an exploration of what remains, in a post-post-apocalyptic world where clans feud over the technology that allows them to upgrade their minds and bodies. The Nanocultivation Chronicles is a blend of hard sci-fi and fantasy gamelit, with a healthy helping of xianxia influence. The gamelit and xianxia elements are uncovered at a slow pace. ******************************** Notes: If you are looking for lots of fast moving action right away, this story may not be for you. There is some violence that is visceral and realistic early on. Some things are not what they appear to be. Character viewpoint narration is not always reliable. Tropes are cherished, subverted, and then cherished again. Science is used, occasionally misused, but (hopefully) never abused. This story assumes that humans have the ability to impact the environment on a global scale. Other tropes and tags beyond those previously noted include: Young MC, Mystery, System Building, Philosophical Taoism, Gender Ignorance, Science Fantasy, Fantasy Academy, Training from Hell, Dualism, Crafting, Magic, Mild Mind Control, Scientific Terms and Concepts, Computer Overlord Certain contemporary companies, governments and cultural identities are fictionalized and imagined in a future setting. There is no sex, and almost no romance. Updating Sunday, Thursday until further notice.
