Chapter 3

When arriving in the kitchen Dan sees his mother sitting at the diner table while taking care of the baby kittens.

“Hi mom, how are they doing?” asks Dan.

His mom says “They are doing good for now, can't wait when doc Adams comes and takes a good look at them.”

“Come son, let your mother take care of them and lets clean ourselves up. Don't forget that you said that you were going to make diner tonight.”said his dad.

Dan says “Yes, I remember. I'll start right away, after I cleaned myself up.”

“Well go clean yourself up then son, I'll wait till your done then.” said his dad.

Dan goes to the bathroom to clean himself up so that he can start making dinner.

After having cleaned himself he goes to the kitchen.

Dan says “Dad, its your turn. I'll start making dinner now.”

“Alright son, can't wait.” said his dad.

Dan looks around the kitchen what he can use to make dinner. After looking around he sees that there is an off food to make different dishes like paste, rice with sweet sauce or potato's with a salad made from vegetables they farmed themselves and a piece of meat.

Not knowing what he should make he asks his mother: “Mom, what would you like to eat tonight?”

“Dear, could you make those potato's that you made last time out of the oven?” asks his mom.

“Will do that then, tonights dinner is potato with a burger and a salad.”said Dan.

His mom says “That sounds great dear.”

Dan starts to make the preparations to make dinner when his father steps into the kitchen after cleaning himself.

After seeing that his son is starting to make dinner he asks: “What are we eating tonight son?”

Dan says “We are eating: potato with a burger and a salad tonight dad.”

“Thats great, make the potato the same as last time please?” asks his dad.

“Already doing dad, mom asked the same.” said Dan.

His dad says “Ha ha, great minds think a like.”

Dan starts putting everything he needs on the kitchen counter so that he can make the proper arrangements for the order of making dinner.

After being certain that he has everything he needs he starts with making the salad and cutting the potato's.

After having cleaned the potato's and boiled them for a few minutes he cools them of and puts them on the cutting board.

After cutting the potato in smaller pieces he puts them on a oven plate were he put on the bottom some spice oil to make sure they don't stick on the plate and to have the spices go inside the potato.

On top of the potato he puts some rosemary the have some extra taste.

After he put the potatoes in the oven he starts making the salad. He first plucks the lettuce and cleanse them in water with ice.

Then he cleans the tomato, cucumber. While doing that he also puts on a pan in which he puts the apples he has to make a French apple sous.

While the apples are slowly becoming softer he starts putting the sift ready so that he can sift the apples very fine.

When the apples are ready he sifts them and lets them cool of. While the apples are cooling of he makes the French sous made of vinegar and sunflower oil. After putting it on taste with some pepper and salt, he puts the sift apple in the sous.

After mixing the sous and the apple so it is cleanly mixed together he puts it in the fridge.

After he has done that he starts with spicing the meat, he leaves a part of the meat not spiced for Jessy. After that is done he start dividing it up the spiced meat so that he can start making them into burgers.

After making burgers of them he makes sure that they are baked to perfection on the outside and only need a minute in the oven to be done on the inside.

While they are in the oven he makes the finishing touches on the salad by cutting the cucumber and tomato's and mixing them with some cheese trough the lettuce.

When he's done with the cooking his parents already made up the dinner table and take the food and put it on it.

He gives Jessy her burger and some of her other food. When he looks around he sees that he has a new notice.

After putting away the notices he sits at the table and starts eating dinner.

After dinner they clean up together and start to make ready for the evening. After cleaning everything doc Adams is at the door.

While opening the door his father greets doc Adams and shows him to the living room were his mother is taking care of the kittens.

“Hi Anne, Jack said that you are the one who was taking care of them till now?” asks doc Adams

Dan's mom says “Hey doc, yes I was taking care of them but don't forget that Dan found them.”

“Ha ha ha, I won't forget that. Lets have a look shall we.”said doc Adams.

Doc Adams takes a look at the kittens and makes sure that they are completely fine. After checking that everything is alright he looks up to the Williams couple and Dan.

Doc Adams says “Well, you all did a good job I have to say. They have a great temperature and I see that they also have no sickness. They are also well fed. Don't forget to keep feeding them every two to three hours and make the urinate. For the rest I don't have anything to say about them.”

Dan's mom says ”Thanks doc.”

Dan's dad says “Yeah, thanks doc. I know it is not that great to come by so late after a days of work.”

“It isn't a problem Jack, I'm happy to come by. At least these young one will stay alive now.”said doc Adams.

Dan's dad says “Well doc, still thank you for coming by tonight.”

Dan's father walks doc Adams out and after he comes back inside he looks at his family.

Dan's dad says “Well now that we know that hey will live lets get ourselves some rest. Dan, your mom and I will feed the kittens trough out the night. You go to bed and rest up, tomorrow there will be a new day of hard work for you.”

“Yes dad, I'll do that.”said Dan.

Dan goes to the bathroom to clean his teeth and make himself ready for bed.

Dan says “Goodnight mom, dad. Sleep well”

“Goodnight dear sleep well.” said his mom.

“Sleep well son. See you tomorrow.” said his dad.

Dan goes to bed and Jessy comes with him.

Dan says “Goodnight Jessy.”

“Goodnight master.”said Jessy

After wishing Jessy he looks at his status and goes to sleep.
