It has been about 2 weeks since I moved in with Jack and Sam. It's pretty lively here since they can both use magic aswell. i also got a pretty big room. But outside of that it's summer break! That means no school, Dungeon Diving and Magic Tournaments! Well ignoring that let's check my status.

Wow I guess two weeks of dungeon diving with David will change my status a lot huh.Pretty damn strong now. Me and David should be able to atleast get into the top 7 of the Tournament according to him. I want that first place baby.

Anyway me David and Sam are currently on the way to where the tournament will be held. We left about 9 hours ago.

"Hey David. How much longer until we will be there?"(Me)

"We should be there in about an hour."(David)

"Awesome. Anybody you know going to be there?"(Me)

"Yeah. My family will probably send some of my cousins to the tournament to see their strength. Some of the main family will probably be in the top brackets and my family will probably be watching from the stands."(David)

"Interesting. I wonder how strong you family members are compared to you now."(Me)

Yes now David is a rank 8 mage. He used to only be a rank 6, But he jumped 2 ranks. As for me? I'm rank 10 now. I'm basically a powerhouse at this tournament. The good thing is the tournament is like a simulation, Nobody can actually die in it. once they die they will just respawn outside of the arena. It's good because it won't cause conflict for killing some of another clans family members.

"Jack. We are here. Help me gather our stuff."(David)

"Alright. Where did Sam go?"(Me)

"She went to register us while we move our stuff to our living courters."(David)

"Alright. We could just use my Inventory you know?"(Me)

"Let's not. People would wonder why we have nothing on us and think one of us can use Space magic. That will be annoying and dangerous for you. They would probably try to drag you into their clans or killing you."(David)

"Wow I guess you saved my ass then haha"(Me)

After we drop off all of our stuff we go to find Sam, Who is currently surrounded by a group of guys. When she sees us she calls out to us.

"Bro,Jack can you get these people away from me? They won't leave me alone"(Sam)

"Huh who are these brats?"(Thug 1)

"Haha you think these twerps can help ya"(Thug 2)

"Hahaha"(Thug 3-5)

Oh boy some typical retarded thugs. Well lets just clear them out I guess.

"So why exactly were you surrounded by weak morons?"(Me)

"Well after I registered us they just kinda surrounded me and nobody really cared so I just waited for you guys to come out since I suck at fighting without magic"(Sam)

"Why couldn't you just use magic?"(Me)

"You can't use magic unless you are in the arena. That's the rule here. if you break that you will never be allowed back and will be throwed out."(Sam)

Huh, Good thing I didn't use magic then

"Well whatever let's just go and get to the Arena. the preliminiaries should be starting now"(David)

"Ok"(Me&Sam)

When we get to the Arena we see a lot of groups of kids and elders from clans I have no clue about. When we walk in a few people walk over to us.

"Hey David,You are back again huh. You should know a mere rank 4 mage can't do anything here."(???)

"Shut up Leo. I know full well I would be useless if I was rank 4."(David)

"You say it like you aren't rank 4 anymore."(Leo)

"Indeed. I am rank 8 now."(David)

"Bullshit, As if you can get rank 8 from 4 in a year."(???)

"Not like it matters if you believe me or not."(David)

"So whos the kid behind you with the red eyes?"(Leo)

"Jack. A friend from school and Rank 10 Mage.(David)

"Rank 10?!"(Leo&???)

"Yeah. Why else would I be able to get to rank 8 so fast? I had my friend help me train."(David)

Not that I did much. All I did was help him with tips on some magic while rushing the dungeon with him..

"ALRIGHT EVERYBODY SIT AT YOUR SPOTS THE TOURNAMENT IS STARTING!"(???)

A loud voice yells and everyone goes to their seats. I just follow David and Sam to wherever they are going.

When we get to the seats the rounds start. First match is Leo and someone named Fred.

Once the match starts Leo instantly fires a FireBall and Fire Arrow and Fred instantly dies. Looks like Leo isn't that weak. Maybe around rank 5 or 6.

Next is Sam vs a girl named Zuyi. Sam instantly uses an Earth Wall to block Zuyi in and spams Water Arrows and wins. Seems like she ranked up to Rank 6.

Next round is David vs Polo who was with Leo when he talked to us. David instantly kills Polo with a Wind Slash.

Now it is my turn and I am against a boy named Homra. Instantly after the round starts i hit him with a lightning spear and he literally explodes.

And there are a bunch more random matches but they are just weak nobodies so let's skip that yeah.

It's now a free for all round divided into 3 divisions. I am in division B, While David is in A and Sam in C.

There are 25 people per division and as soon as the round starts 4 people run straight at David with spears and 1 fires water magic at him. David blocks the Water magic with a Fire Wall and fires off a Wind Cutter killing the mage and 2 of the people rushing him.

After that he swings his Spear and activates his skill instantly splitting the last 2 in half.

The round ends after that since only 5 people are left.

Now it's my turn and I see Leo in my Division. Instantly after it starts I cast Lightning Maelstorm on one half of the Arena and Ice Blizzard on the other killing everybody on it but me.

Everyone on the crown was startled and the judge was shocked. David and Sam were smiling while looking at me who just killed 24 people in 2 seconds.

After everyone calms down Division C starts and Sam goes in. Sadly for Sam after a few minutes of fighting she was eliminated by a rank 9 Mage. Now that that ended it's time for everyone to go home to sleep to get ready for the semi-finals and finals that are tomorrow.

Me, David and Sam head back to our lodge to sleep before tomorrow.

"Jack,How did you instantly kill everyone in your division? Just what magic did you use?"(David)

David asked me a ittle freaked out and I understand that.

"I used an advanced tier Lightning Magic called Lightning Maelstorm aswell as an advanced tier Ice Magic called Ice Blizzard. Both do stupid amounts of damage if you don't have resistances towards them."(Me)

"You can use 2 types of advanced tier magic?"(Sam)

"Honestly I can use more. There is one called Shadow Control from Darkness Magic which allows me to defend myself with my Shadow or to stop the enemy for 1.5 seconds with their Shadow. I can't use it continuously though."(Me)

"Atleast you can't use that constantly or you would never lose anything"(David)

Said David and Sam nodded. I also think it's good I can't just spam it since I wouldn't get any training if I did that.

Well now it's time for us to go to sleep to get ready for the Semi-Finals and Finals tomorrow.
