Arnold PoV
“I know, how about you?” He then grabs my oldest son’s head. He had already become 12 years old and had been trained as a swordsman. Tears were falling from his eyes, and I had the feeling that his death wouldn’t be fast. I could see the mad look in the eyes of the scaly kid.
With his right hand holding my son he lifted him. With his free hand he grabs his leg and with a powerful gripping motion he breaks the limb. I heard the sound of the bone breaking, it was loud, and the scream was higher than his sister's.
“Hey, if you scream like that your brother will wake up… But I had put him to sleep with magic… so he will not wake up now… YOU CAN SCREAM AS YOU SEE FIT! LET ALL THE PEOPLE OF YOUR COUNTRY HEAR IT!” He shouts near my son’s ear and blood starts to leave his ear. My oldest son had been crippled before my eyes and I couldn’t do anything to stop it.
It was then it started, a slow gripping force was being applied to his head. Slowly and slowly making my son scream louder and louder. His nose and mouth had already started to bleed, but then without any notice his head exploded. It was like that it had been nothing before the monster in front of me.
“AH! I broke him already…” He tossed the headless Luke to me. How he could do such thing without breaking a sweat? Weren't humans above all other races? “Well, now we have one prince, a princess, and the queen left… Let’s go with the princess now?”
“No! Leave my kids alone! PLEASE SPARE THEIR LIVES!” He gave me a cold gaze in reply before sighing.
“You know, I don’t like to kill brats like them… but My Queen gave me orders to kill all humans older than 3 years so... I’m sorry.” His expression was sad, but his eyes weren’t minding it. Tears start to flow down my face as I asked myself, how did this happen? If i had never tried to open that chamber… If, if, if, if…
All the things I could have done in a different way started to appear in my head.
He grabs Mirella’s leg and with a spin he sends her to the ceiling. She stops there and doesn’t fall. It was like there was a force making her stay up there.
“Good! I'll make sure to kill you now… I want them to see it.” It was then that I first saw it with my own eyes. “Spear of Ice Petals. The world is nothing before you. You’re so beautiful that no one can look at you without dying. That is your curse. Now is the time. That girl is waiting, she has SEEN you!” An ice spear appears in thin air. The blade was so thin that you could see the other side perfectly. The body was made to look like vines and rose buds could be seen all over it, and at the end a single rose had bloomed.

It had soared and pierced Mirella’s body. A layer of ice instantly covered her body, creating vines and rose buds that moved like a real plant growing all too quickly. And then her body broke. Leaving a red-colored ice that fed the roses. The roses bloomed, showing a red color before breaking and disappearing.
“Beautiful, no? Do you see how it can be used? Magic is beautiful, magic isn't dreadful. Magic doesn’t see enemies, it is something the caster controls. Magic is ART!” I nod, and he smiles at me. He had certainly created true art at the moment my daughter died. And my own body had said it was beautiful… ‘HOW I COULD SEE MY DEAD DAUGHTER AS A PIECE OF ART?!’
Nothing was left behind… her body had disappeared! “Now let’s move to the next one!” A joyful smile appeared in his eyes. “Let me see… Oh! I know! Let’s use that magic!” I didn’t want to see it, but my eyes were glued to his performance. He looked like a madman, but he had refined movements like a noble or king.
“Float, little boy. Let the birds see that you can fly without wings, but take care for there are zones that you cannot survive. Falling. Soaring. Going in all directions. Gravity is no joke. It plays tricks on your body. Gravity Cocoon.”
Michael started to float but he then stopped some meters off the ground. His eyes bulged and he screamed. I could see a purple-colored thing wrapping around his body, it was tightening, pressing him together. His joints started to make noises and to be dislocated and he started to cry tears of blood. His body was being smashed and compressed. Blood oozed out of all his body without stopping, it was then he exploded splashing blood and entrails everywhere.
“See? It can be used like that too!” He shows me another of his smiling faces. I nod to him… ‘WHY THE HELL AM I NODDING?! HE IS KILLING MY FAMILY BEFORE MY EYES!!’
My wife was breathing heavily, and the bottom of her dress seemed damp against the floor. It was at that moment that I understand… I too had soiled my pants, but I didn’t care! He is killing every member of my family!
“Now is the time for this queen… for some reason I already know the perfect way to show you two just how I can use magic.”
“Please! No… don’t kill her too!” I pleaded to him. My face was distorted by fear, snot, tears and the blood of my own kids.
“I had already said. What is happening here is ALL YOUR FAULT. Do you not see that she agreed to help you in all this madness? I’m just cleaning the trash! Very well! Let’s begin.” I looked at my wife and muttered that I loved her.
“All the wild animals need food to live. Plants aren’t different. They need dead bodies as food. You who had suffered to see your kids dying, look at this tree. She is the Tree of Life. The fruit is said to bring the dead back to life. But did you know? It is a lie… It uses the fruit to bring its prey. Death always awaits you. The true name is the Tree of Death.”

A sapling started to sprout on the back of my wife. She screamed, her body was withering and the sapling was growing. But when she died the small tree stopped growing and it broke off from her, as it needed more nutrients to grow. And what was left of my wife was nothing more than a broken little tree, but the strangest thing was that all the roots came out from the heart. It had the form of a human heart, and with one last beat it was cut in half.
“Wow… That was my first time seeing this! I never imagined that it would grow so big from just eating one body! That human had a great to wish to see her kids again, so she gave in the temptation on the chant and made it easier to take her life force. Yahaha… How GREAT!”
It was at that moment that I finally noticed one thing. I had been screaming and cursing him all this time. My throat burned, but I didn’t stop; I want to see his death!
“Stupid human… And I am here trying to be a nice guy, reuniting your wife with her children…” He scratches his cheek. “I think it would be okay to do this. You were going to do this to the Mechatronics, after all, weren't you?” ‘What he is going to do to me?’
“The light came from the darkness. Do you fear it? Oh! You fear it! Because in that place your own fears live. You can’t see them but they are there. Looking at you. They know you more than you know yourself. The Dark Cloak will cover you and show you what you really are.”
My vision goes black and what I see…
Y’allaer PoV
I finally can sigh. That last magic consumed too much mana! Dark magic really is scary, it plays tons of tricks on someone's mind. He will probably never be able to talk again. He now is a broken toy, but Lilith wants to use him as an example for the kids.
Shrugging, I revert back to my usual form and retrieve the baby… ‘AH! I forgot to ask his name… Stupid me… why did I go and forget that? Nah! Let’s just think of a new one for everyone.’
I grab the foolish king from the ground with my free hand and start to walk casually while I hum my favorite song.
I found some survivors, but without minding them much I create some wind blades to kill them.
We leave the palace and with a little jump I go up into the air. The palace was standing, it was already burning but it will take too long to finish…
“Be crushed by your own weight. Become the monument of this graveyard. Gravity Crush.”
The castle shakes and starts falling over itself. Breaking everything it had inside. Smashing the people that tried to run for their lives.
The city was falling in ruins too. I had already got some messages from my forces, they had almost exterminated all the humans in this place. All the kids had been carried to our wagon by the earthen or flying drones. They numbered nearly 100 already, and with that amount we are off to a good start.
I go to our carriage. There I put the small human prince in a place near the entrance. I had put a little marking in his head using magic. It would always appear, even in his descendents. A small crown would appear near their left ear.
Deed complete, I grab the old man and tie him on the side of the wagon. He can’t go with the kids.
I have finished with the royal family! Anyone need help?
Everything is proceeding better than expected, Zero, no need for you to trouble yourself. We just need to finish the few humans that don’t want to leave their kids to us.
All leaders reported almost the same thing. We really brought the elite of the elite.
I ask about our loses while I’m looking around the wagon. I could spot some defense drones and some attacks drones patrolling the area.
The report was like I had thought. No one had died, just a few scratches or dents in their armor. But one guy had to stop… He saved one of the kids here, but was assaulted while defending it. And the humans used that chance to cut some necessary parts of his arm. But after that leader 2 appeared and killed them all. After that they left the drone to carry the kid and now he is using his own arm as a weapon… I started to laughing seeing the pic she had sent me after that. A knight carrying his own arm and using it as a weapon…
It was night when we finally had finished the slaughter, and I had already gathered some meat to feed the kids. Luckily all the kids we gathered were over a year old already. Strangely we had the same amount of boys and girls…
We left the city to crumble on itself. Soaring one more time, I look at the city. Ruins everywhere. Good. Right now we showed how powerful we are. With 500 soldiers we killed a much bigger army and destroyed a nation's capital in just two hours.
This would be a story passed down in all kingdoms and all races over the years. How a boy lead an army and freed other kids from tyranny.
