Lilith PoV
One year had already passed and now I just need to wait five months to finally use the Moon Crystals. I got to know more about Y’allaer and it was only due to his birthday that I found how old he was… I wanted to know it sooner but I didn't have the courage to ask him. I wanted to give him a present on that day, so I made something using some of the metals and other things everyone would give me. It was a ring. I had crafted it as a dragon biting its own tail. Gold and silver were used to make the small scales, claws and wings, and two amethysts as eyes.
I gave him it on the same day he had appeared here. When I gave it to him that he said he had a gift for me too… I didn’t want to receive it, because I was giving him a birthday present… it was then that I learned that his birthday had already passed… it had been five months ago. I needed to give him another present, but almost half a year later… It was depressing.
Then he opens his hand and reveals a small gear. He said it was a hairpin. A gold gear that looks precise enough for use in a Clockwork but inlaid with tiny jewels of all colours, crafted as a hairpin especially for me and my silver hair. This is strange, it's so beautiful and it makes me so happy but my eyes are leaking again? Why?
He gently pats my head with his hand, he had a silly smile on his face. Using the other hand he wiped the water that leaked from my eye and then he put the gear in my hair. I run my fingers across it imagining how it looks.
I smile and take his left hand, then I put the Amethyst Dragon ring in his ring finger. On his right middle finger he wears his storage ring. I look at his hands, they are bigger than I had thought they were… I smile back at him.
“I… I… I think… I lo-lo-” *knock* *knock*
I tried to say what I'd come to realise during this year, because I could see that the mood was perfect for it. I think he would be the one who wanted to say it first, but he is my pet. I need to take the lead here! But someone knocked at the door, and without even waiting for the answer it entered the room.
A ten year old girl walks in like she owned the place. Looking at her I can only scream in my mind. ‘SHE KILLED THE MOOD! I WAS ABOUT TO SAY THAT I LOVED HIM!’ But before I could open my mouth Y’allaer started to talk to her.

“Yoko! What are you doing here?” He had a hint of respect in his voice. “I thought you would stay with Lance to do some jobs there.”
“That stupid guy is so weak, why would I do anything with him? I decided to come here because apparently our spies have found out a good thing.” She said with a happy smile… What the hell she is going to do here? It looks like she can’t see me!
“Before we get to that topic… This is Lilith, the queen of this city.” He introduces me to her. I could see a glimpse of a smile on his face.
The girl looks to me… For some reason I think I’ll not like her… Then she smiles when she looks at my hand… “Kyaa!” I had my fingers tangled with Y’allaer’s... I let go of his hand with a red face.
She looks at us again and I could see her eyes stopping at Y’allaer’s left hand…
“So… When did you guys start going out? When will I be able to see the kids?” She said with a smirk... It was at that moment that I realized what I had done… I had made him wear a ring on a finger that symbolizes marriage… I wanted to say something, but no sound would come out of my mouth.
“Yoko, stop teasing her… She is not good at handling it…” He said, but he was redder than me! ‘How do you expect to be respected if you show that weakling side?’
“Okay~” I couldn’t believe… her eyes were saying that she would continue doing it for sure.
Recovering my posture, I start to question her about the matter. She explained that the humans that I had tamed have started to contract some mercenaries to raid my city. The king had found out that this mine had more ore than he had expected and wanted it for himself, but I think the thing he wants the most is the technology on how to create my subordinates.
“I thought I had taught him what would happen to his kingdom if he tried to do anything to my city or its people!” I said. “You two, come with me. It’s time to engage in a war and the humans need to learn what happens when they get too cocky for their own good!” I walk out of the room, Y’allaer walks on my side and the girl follow us.
Sending some messages to his Gon I inquire about her. He explained that she was the most powerful of all the mercs in the group he was with before becoming my pet. I learned some details, such as how I should never call her small or anything like that. It’s a taboo topic for her.
We walked down to the plaza near my castle. I had already sent a message to all Clockworks and Constructs to come here.

Stepping on Ruby and Sapphire I levitate my body to be in a higher place.
“I could have sent a message talking about it, but I prefered to come here to talk to all of you.” I had gathered everyone's attention. “Today, one of our allies came to my room and informed me that the human king who graciously donated this abandoned place to us had forgot my good will to leave him alive. He has started to gather help to bring down our kingdom!” I could see that everyone here knew how to deal with them. I smile to them.
“Now is time to show the humans who can toy with who. They think magic is inherently dangerous or evil, and for a stupid reason they have killed all of the magicians they could have used against us. They don’t see who is more powerful than them. It’s time for everyone gather his weapons and trash the kingdom of the foolish king that wants to take this land from us!”
Shouts of anger, happiness, and some incoherent ones could be heard… but one voice silenced them all again.
“HEY! STOP THIS NOW, YOU FOOLS!” Y’allaer was flying near me. “I know how you feel, but you want to crush them with numbers?” He points at the plaza. “Do you not know how to show how powerful we are?” He looks at everyone. All of them stopped and were thinking, then I see what he wanted to do. With a smile I nod my head.
“What will happen if all of you go out and leave the queen unprotected? She could die if any strong party sneaks around you and raids this place!” He was showing anger. “Does anyone have an idea of how we could deal with them?”
It was a dead silence, but a single small Clockwork lifted its hand. “I think we should divide our forces! Half to raid the humans and the other half to protect our kingdom!” He shook his head.
“No. The idea is okay, but what I want is to show that with a small number we can trash them. What do you think I did at my first battle? I was alone fighting with ten bandits… you could say that I toyed too much with them… the last one was the most fun to play with! After slaughtering his friends I chased him with my hands and feet clad in flames for about 5 minutes I think, but then I got bored and burned him so that nothing but cinders was left.” I could hear all the gears working… that was the silence that had been placed.
“We need to crush them so badly that they would never walk again. Let’s raid them with less than 500 mechas. I will go too. If we are together I can see their death.” He had the smile he showed me on the night he played with the humans. It was innocent, and everyone would think it scary, but for me it was warm. He was using his powers to help my people.
“We will select the best of the best to go with him play with the humans! You all will raid their city, kill the humans, and if it’s possible… try to catch some kids with high mana capacity. They need to be younger than 3 years old! We are going to show them what happens when they don’t believe in the true power of magic!” I shout, finishing our plan.
They all got happier than before, yelling the orders we had given them. The knights had been training how to fight against small creatures with the help of Y’allaer. The constructs had good mana capacity, but they didn’t have the same amount as him, neither I had, but that would change with the Moon Crystals. I could feel the power inside those things. They were like eggs hatching. I wanted to know what will hatch and how powerful my being would become.
We landed and I hug Y’allaer. “You really were great! I would do the same as the small Clockie suggested… Divide our number… I’m feeling ashamed now.” He smiles at me.
“I know you wanted to go with us, but you need to watch the Moon Crystals, I don’t want to have to wait more than we had already waited.” He pats my head and continues talking. “And I want to see how powerful you will be after fusing your core with it.”
“Do you guys really need to create your own pink world right now? Everyone is looking.” The small foxgirl smiles teasingly to us.
“They always do that, Lieutenant Yoko.” A clockwork says. I wanted to shout 'we almost never do this!’ But voices had been raised and everyone was saying that we do it a lot…
‘How are we supposed to be role models to the Mechatronics if all of them can tease us like that?!’ I thought to myself before dropping my head. I hear a wry laugh and someone hugs me before we go up in the air and disappear inside the castle. Once there's something solid under my feet once more I look around and find myself still being held by Y'allaer in my bedroom, with him smiling gently at me and looking straight in my eyes. 'Could this be a chance to tell him how I feel? Surely we won't be interrupted again…'

Rebirth of Destiny I
In a world where magical runes called Rebirths rest in the hands of hostile nations, fourteen-year-old Aiden lived a quiet life in a small town conveniently named Khalm. Born with crescent-shaped irises and silver hair, young Aiden was never bothered by his unusual birthmarks until the night his life as a simple delivery boy changed. He was the 'Rebirth Destroyer', someone ruling powers deemed a threat. Chased by death and the foretelling of the world ending by his hands, Aiden soon finds that there are few people he can trust. My stories are fantasy-based and heavily influenced by classic Final Fantasy games ( by classic I mean 1-10 ) and other Japanese Role-Playing Games I used to enjoy, with one difference; the main characters are Black. July 2022 update! After months of deliberation, I've decided to continue with this cast of characters in the next books instead. The loose ends in this story have been keeping me up all night. I've gotten started on 2 sequels to this; Rebirth of Destiny II based on the good ending and the alternative ending. After I get a good backlog built up they'll be published once a week.
