Author Memo: Greetings! It took me some days to write because I was reading and the boredom didn't want to make me write. However it made me hunt a little in MH4U and that made me write... I don't get the reason there...

Anyway, who want some chocolates? I want!

Lance PoV

It was after a week that the boy came that someone came and had a true report to me.

"Boss, we found a force of 5000 humans knights marching in this direction. They are probably looking for the kid." A panther beastman report to me.

"It was faster than what I was expecting. Take 15 catmen with you and harass them. We need to make them wait for two or three months." I was making some plans. "But before, how much time will take to them to find our den?"

"For their speed I think it would take near 15 to 30 days to find it." He answers... 'So we don't have much time to lax with the Brat training. He can be a powerful weapon if right used.'

"Try to make them take more than 45 days looking for us. Take the best catmen with you. Make them destroy their supplies or cause some confusion among the humans." I order him. He salute but I stop him. "One more, make sure everyone come back alive. Yoko will be mad if someone die in this kind of mission."

He smiles to me and salute once more before leaving.

'We need everyone to be prepared...'

Y'allaer PoV

I had saw hell... Not once, not twice but much more!

That fox made me use gravity bracelets in my arms and ankles. It's normal? No! They were heavy! And I had to swing my sword 100 times up-down, down-up, right-left, left-right and diagonally for all directions! And I had to use two hands and one hand with my two hands.

I'm ambidextrous. I know the letters and numbers too. Mother had teach me it.

I want to see her again...

Every morning I meditate with Yoko, after lunch she make the hell training. And at night I train magic on my bedroom. It's simple, it just has a closet, a bed and a table.

I think my bedroom is near Yoko's because everytime I use some kind of magic she don't like she kick my door open and punch me.

With her doing it every now and then I could change some small parts of my appearance. I can transform just my limbs or others bodies parts.

She dislike my dragon humanoid form because the scales are hard. But her punches got 100% more powerful when I'm using the scales to defend myself.

Every three days she change something on my training and at that day I won’t have dinner… but Alicia always leave some meat to me. So I could it if I could go there after the time, but drink… it was almost prohibited, just two glass of wine per day.

I think I wouldn’t do it again… but I can drink so little that it’s depressive.

I was training with for a month when Lance came and told us that at morning I will spar with him to improve my battle instinct and I had to have control to not let them take control over me.

So my schedule was like that, morning I have to meditate and spar with the leader, afternoon I had to do the hellish training with the fox, and at night I would train my magic.

Every day I would try to win against Lance, but once I got to win 3 times I would lose 7. Every day we exchanged pointers for 10 rounds, once in a while I scored 5 to 5, but I would lose almost all of them, using or not using magic.

My magic power increased so much that I just could see a dense cloud of mana inside of me. It would not diminish, I could use it without being drained.

The battle with Lance made me feel a little more powerful. It was getting more difficult to lose to him, but he wouldn’t make it easy to win either.

In 46 days living there that I saw the differences in my body. I could feel the power that every muscle had. My transformation are much more easier. My horns got more lustrous and my tail bigger. In my wings some patterns started to appear, it’s now easier to fly and I could last longer in the air. It would be important if used right in a war.

At my 48th day there I was watching my deep red sword. I had summoned some flames to run at the blade. Its red color darkened and the flame didn’t come out, they were sucked and the blade cried happy. I could feel the amusement of it when it had drunk the blood of the bandits, but now I was seeing it in a different light.

The way it sucked the flames was like a hungry hunter that wanted to eat. The weapon was like my own arm now.

The first time I had wielded it I felt it more heavy or more difficult to control, but now it was easy. I could feel power in every motion I did with it. I feed it more flames and was the first time I saw inscription on it. It had was write on a unknown language but I could understand the meaning of it. Yu’gaed, the Crimson Fang, was the name that popped up on my mind after seeing the lines. I gave the blade that name. And at that time I could see that it had was happy to be named.

It was at the 50th day that Lance announced that some humans were scouting the area near the base but he had a group of the bests beastmen to harasses them at the night or to light up their supplies.

We were back at the arena. Lance was in the middle with a magic tool that could make his voice louder.

"43 days ago a catman had brought the notice of a 5000 humans warrior looking for our den. It would took them almost 15-30 days to find it. However I had made him get 15 of our bests scouts to help him harass that army to buy us time. In 10-15 days that army would find our place.

So today I came here to deploy 1000 of ours to hunt them."

'This number is too small! It is 5x1! They had the number advantage!' I wanted to shout but everyone was smiling.

"I know that the numbers look like that but with our most skillful spy we can enter their camp and bring despair to them." Lance looked to Yoko who was bored near him, her face brightened up when she heard that... I could see that she liked to deceive people.

"This time she will have help of our new member! The draconian!!!" The crowd was surprised that I was with her. I was to!

'So this was his plan when he came to exchange pointers with me! He wanted to prepare me for this...'

“And it came now, they had sent one of them to me today and they reported that the army is a 4 day trip from here. They could buy us more time but it will prove be almost impossible now that they expect us to burn their food or to play a little there. They started to get much more cautious with the food or when they send their scouts to find the base. We are going to depart tomorrow morning. The Brat and Yoko will go to their camp and try to gain their favor.” He announced to the crowd. He left after letting a letter to me to find him in his room in 30 minutes.

“You two will be brothers that was caught by us but for some reason you two could escape. The background I’ll leave to Yoko, she is good to do it.” He pointed to the girl near me. “You two will go now but first we are going to make you two look like a runaway child.” With a snap of his finger two beastmen came and handed two sets of cloths to us.

I had to change to my human form so that no one would find out. I had a grey shirt with some holes a brown pants with holes on the knee and some turn out appearance. Yoko had a light brown one piece dress her hair was black and she didn’t have her tail and ears out. We aren’t going to use shoes, so thats we would appears like a couple of child that had ran the way they were. We presented ourselves to the leader after the exchange.

“Wow… I would believe it if I could not see your eyes… Here, take it.” He handed me a black cloth piece. “Hide your eyes, they might ask to see it, so just put some illusion magic to make your eyes look white. This way you can pretend to be blind. And you two need to make a good history. Now, go! Make sure to look dirty and hungry when you found them. Before I forgot, here, put your sword here.“ He gave me a gold ring. “This is a storage ring, it’s not very easy to do but we found some of it in a bandit den. Yoko, you do the same with your blades and put a change of clothes to you two, so that you can change before the battle.”

I got it and my eyes were shining. But before I could ask he gave me a look that he wouldn’t give it to me. And I would need to give it back after completing the mission.

I had to make sure to put the ring on a very unique necklace with some bones and one it could had a space to put it in. It was on my neck because a girl would not use it, wouldn’t they?

He send us of after he was sure that the ring wouldn’t be spotted.
