《Slaves have no names, (hiatus)》Chapter 12

Suddenly Grey collapsed the cuff had let go of his hand and had left small needle holes in his wrist. The Forge master stared at the holes in his wrist for a moment wondering hiw they had gotten there but his mind was still a bit warped by wat had happenend so he decided to just take Grey to the elder. He slung the young man over his shoulder and picked up the strange sword laying there on the floor. The forge master was surprised that even for him it was heavy. The sword itself seemed to have some strange resentment to being picked up. It stung his hand quite a bit but the forge master had long since gotten used to pain and just ignored it.
Walking down the hallway with grey slung over his shoulder he reached the status plate room and entered. The elder wasn't in the status plate room, surprised by this the forge master headed to the only other area he knew the elder would other wise be. He headed down another hallway leading from the statusplate room to an average sized room. For some reason the room was filled with barely visible metal string. Moving fluently on top of those wires as easily as if it was a broad walkway was the elder. The elder had no shirt on wich made the movements all the more impressive. His body was incredeible no matter how many times the forge master saw it. Scars covered nearly every inch of the elder's skin his short gray hair and short trimmed beard russtled a bit when he jumped from wire to wire.
Soon enough you could see how the wires had gotten there. The elders body glowed with the same pulsing light Snowflake would occasionaly show. However instead of the violet light that snowflake emmited the elders light was a deep dark blue. Flowing from his finger tips where those steely wires. The forge master knew from experience that those wires where sharp and could cut of limbs when used by the elder who had mastered the dance of the strings decades ago. Dance of the strings seemed to be the name the elder had given his fighting style. Each of them had taken on their own fighting style's and after the years of fighting had named them as they thought would be appropriet.

The elder finished his movements and let himself fall down from one of the upper wires before smoothly and silently landing on the floor.
“So wat happenend to the boy?” The elder asked him
The forge master handed him the icy blue sword as ussual still not saying a single word. The elder grabbed the sword and swung it around as if it was a wooden practice sword. Weightless and gracefull the sword seemed when put in the hands of this elderly man.
“This is a very nice sword, you make it?”
The forge master shook his hand pointing to Grey that he had put on the ground in the meanwhile.
“The young one made it?” The elder said a note of surprise in his voice this time.
The forge master nodded. Trying to explain with weird hand gestures wat exactly he had experienced in the forge. The elder seemed to understand these gestures with ease. Well naturally he would after all he was the one who had taught them to the forge master when he had lost his ability to speak.
“Bit heavy though i wonder iif he can wield it, and there is magic mixed in this sword. It also seems to resent being held by me. How very peculiar.” The elder mused.
“If you where wondering wat the sword would do then i can't tell you we'd only be able to find out wat it does exactly when the young one wields it for the first time in a proper fight. Although he will really have to step up his training.
Not one for saying to much the elder left it at that. Not really having learnt anything about the sword he decided to take the kid to his cell. Every one already seemed to have been long asleep. He wondered howlong the forging of the sword had actually lasted. To him it seemed to be one hour max. But that everyone was already fast asleep proved otherwise. It must have actually taken atleast 8 hours. Not dwelling on it any further he tucked the young boy in with surprsingly gentle hands despite his size.

When Grey woke-up the next day he had to drag himself out of his bed. He felt exhausted almost as if he had spent the entire time running marathons before he went to sleep. The first thing he noticed when he woke up was that everyone else had already left. This in itself was peculiar because they would ussually be woken up first thing in the morning. Atleast they assumed it was morning when they where woken up. There wasn't really anyway to keep track of time down here.
Second thing he noticed was the sheathed sword next to him. He couldn't recall making it he remembered finding the ice blue steel and dragging it to the forge but after that it was mostly blank.
He stood up and put his hand on the hilt of the sword but try as he might he couldn't even budge the heavy bastard sword. No matter how he tried or how hard he pressed his muscles to pick up the sword it just refused to leave it's spot.
“Well” Grey muttered to himself “I made a bloody sword i can't even pick up how spectabulous. Not much else for it i suppose”
He had already made a decision. Muscle training time! Hard work till he could lift the bloody thing he would focus on training his muscles. Best way to do that was work at the forge!
Sorry bout the short half-assed chapter. But this part really got me stuck. I had written a decent sized chapter like 3 times and deleted it cuz i thought it sucked :l. The last chapter felt so good writing that this just felt soooooo crappy. Anyways tomorrow ill release a new chapter decent sized. Only a couple more before the first actual fight! Thanks to everyone for sticking with me for so long!
