《A god In Unordinary.》Chapter 9: A new wave.

Venus stepped into the Ability gauge building, the moment she was inside all sounds from the outside was fully cut off and only that of people inside could be heard. The building was of course huge and spacious. There was the main centre where the normal students and royals alike come to get their levels checked, the insides was a simple structure.

There were rows of ordered tables around and different people seating at them, almost the same as the registration centre outside the dome. And up around the hall were multiple screens and they were showing different students, their abilities and their updated levels after being gauged.

The students who came to get checked go to a table of their choice and outstretch their hands to the personnel there, it wasn't a long process and only took about 2-3 seconds to gauge, most ability gaugers had a power LVL of 3.5 - 4.1 mostly and could see up to 5 levels beyond themselves when gauging.

There were one of the most common type abilities present in the world but still extremely important to society, Venus preferred not to have her ability checked by one of the gaugers in the main center because it would be wierd and they announced the level they've gauged after they've checked, plus her situation wasn't a simple one also.

She walked on straight ahead to a particular door straight ahead at the end and opened it, there was another space for those who just want a silent check Instead of an announced one. Almost no one ever even bothers to use this place because most were fine with the main space, the only people other than them willing to come into this section would be either anyone in the top 10 rankings themselves and then there's the adults too

The inner space was a little smaller than the main one and it's walls were a metallic blue, Venus walked down a wide hall, up ahead were two doors opposite each othe at the end of the hall. The one on the right which is where the kids wanting a silent gauging use and on the left is where the adults go for Thiers, as Venus approached her destination the door on the right suddenly opened up and she saw someone unexpected.

It was a girl just a foot shorter than her and had beautiful snow white hair that reached her waist and a one long braid resting on her shoulder, the girl turned her face towards Venus. Her eye lashes were a bit long and the same snow white color as her hair and her eyes looked a starry blue, her skin looked a pale milky white and so unblemished, she was blessed with a perfect face and body figure that could make any woman jealous as she looked to be the epitome of beauty and you could feel just how delicate she was by staring at her.

But just from the same moment of eye contact with her there was a serene coldness Venus felt, this..was the Queen herself, Rozaria. A special monster Possessing a terrifying ability of ice and and also spatial control, the most dangerous student in the whole school and on par with Vincent himself and the former rank 1. In fact most had accepted her as above Vincent due to the sheer terror of what her ability can bring about and her sheer presence was quite heavy, she did the title of Queen absolute justice.

And if there was one thing that everyone, adult and students alike wished to see it would be an absolute all out battle between Rozaria and Vincent to settle who was truly stronger between them, but these two were specifically held back from doing so due to the sheer scale of destruction that would occur from their clash.

A second after their eyes met Rozaria was suddenly gone, Venus blinked knowing what had just happened.

Rozaria had a strange passive that behaved like a main Ability, she could teleport to anywhere as long as she could picture the destination or it was in her field of vision. Normally with a behavior like this it would be classified as a true ability but it was just a passive Indeed as she didn't need to activate her powers to do this which is marked by the glow of the eyed for all ability users.

She was also incredibly aware of space around her and was nearly impossible to catch off guard in any situation at all, the girl just had everything covered. Immensely beautiful, smart, powerful, a combat genius and a great Queen.

Venus took in a deep breath and opened the door:

"Venus?" A surprised voice called to her prompting Venus to look up, the person here was someone who knew her apparently and this made Venus a bit happy as it seems she lucked out today so she could be more comfortable.

She walked up and hugged her friend who reciprocated the hug, they hugged for a couple of seconds and then broke the hug "never expected you'll be coming in here Venus" her friend said.

Both took a seat on the long comfy couch present in the room, Venus shrugged "actually never expected I'll ever be doing so myself after all these years, but you look good Kat" she replied

Katherine smiled "you also Venus, so why are you here exactly. There's only one thing people come here to do and that's--

"Check their power levels I know" Venus finished off the end of the sentence and looked at her "I came here to check my power LVL" she got straight to the point.

Katherine looked at Venus with a bit of worry as she knew Venus's history "Venus--

She was interrupted "I know very much what you want to say Katherine, but just please do it" she stared straight into her eyes as she made the request.

Katherine sighed mentally and nod her head, Venus smiled and outstretched her arm towards Katherine who took in hers and looked at Venus one last time before her eyes glowed and a luminescent glow shone from her hands.

And two seconds later Katherine suddenly dropped Venus's arm and widened her eyes in extreme shock.. "w-w-what! This is impossible, how-how can you-" it was almost like she had her world broken by what happened now but Venus maintained a pure calm demeanor as she looked at her friend. "I'll explain later Kat, but what is current level now" she asked.

Katherine wanted to be calm but she couldn't, at least not now as this was just blowing her mind. But by some unknown strength she managed to actually come to a moment of calm, "6.0, that's your current power level now Venus" she said through shaky lips and trembling hands.

Even Venus became a little shook when she heard that, she...she had now become part of the rarest and most powerful beings on the planet. A god-level, it will make anyone excited hearing this news. She looked at Katherine who was staring straight at her also, waiting for an explanation of how something like this could happen.

Venus was a little stuck now as she was feeling a bit bad for her friend, there was still the matter of her second ability being revealed but she was having thoughts on telling her now. This was already shocking and impossible enough for her and if she spills the truth now it may truly be too much.

*sigh*......"Kat, would you believe me if I tell you I have not the slightest idea of how this actually happened" she began her own narration of how this came about. She cut out most of the details and only told a new story about how she had been feeling weird and having sleepless nights for a week, sometimes her ability just came on without willing it and then just last night she noticed a change in herself.

Venus showed Katherine the new way her ability manifested and it was for this reason she had decided to come here and confirm what she thought might have happened, throughout the narration Venus kept a sincere tone and the emotions to match along with it.

It was so perfect and genuine that not even a seasoned lair would've been able to find a hitch in her expressions and tone, and Katherine who was in no way a seasoned liar or manipulator had even less chances of discovering anything wrong.

Although still shook by it, Katherine believed Venus. She too looked and sounded to be as lost as she did on this matter, some minutes after Venus was getting ready to go and gave Katherine a hug of goodbye then left Kat to herself. She would have to record her new level onto the system and Venus had achieved her purpose already, she still had Aria waiting for some details to be spilled.

But before that she had to go meet Dawn, she would be telling the other half of what happened to him and be revealing her new awakening also.......

[Meanwhile at the Hospital]

There was quite a bit of unrest when the students and teachers were brought in, some had injuries from being blown far back so quickly by the heavy Shockwave that hit and the less durable ones suffered more damage than the rest

It was a very busy hour for the healers present and Vincent sat outside of the hospital just looking out, soon enough they'll begin reconstruction of the school which may take a week with how fast those guys work, it's not the first time the school has been destroyed after all.

But he was going to have a word with Adam after this, Vincent's senses were alerted and he looked to the side to see someone he had already been expecting to come. Rozaria looked down at Vincent for a moment then stepped inside the hospital, minutes later she was back out again and faced Vincent.

"Guess you heard the news huh" he said in a nonchalant tone.

"No, just heard there was a huge fight and my side got caught in the aftermath of it. But who caused the fight I don't know, but my obvious guess would be Adam anyways. His opponent i don't know who, couldn't be you though". Her voice was soothing and incredibly composed, as was her demeanor.

Vincent nod his head a little "well I'll bring you up to speed then since Dawn hasn't yet". She raised a slight brow "was there some change I'm not aware about" she asked.

He looked up at her and did a small smile "there was a change in the top 10 rankings".

She tilted her head head a little "not extremely important now is it, since when you concerned with that even".

Vincent flexed a brow "normally yes, but this affects us both" he looked up at her again, Rozaria seemed to have gotten a little interest now "so you're finally on my level now I guess" she sounded almost sure of her speculation but Vincent surprised her a little when he answered "No".

He chuckled "I'm already equals with you so no reason to get excited about a one point upgrade, although it will be more advantageous in a way but not yet anyways".

Rozaria eyed him for a couple of seconds "equals in title, not in power. Perhaps I'll concede to you being a near rival though" she said which made Vincent smile "you're lucky were banned from fighting each other, it will be nice to finally settle it once and for all".

For the first time a small smile tugged at the end of her lips "well you're in luck then" she said, a little excitement could be found in her tone. Vincent raised a brow "why?" He asked.

Rozaria leaned against the wall "well you'll be leaving in a year which admittedly will make me a bit sad as my hopes for that final fight I wanted to have may go up in smoke"

"Mhmm" Vincent nod his head agreeing with her.

"So to solve this I did something" she stared straight into Vincent's eyes, her smile becoming more visible "two weeks ago I got an idea, and to do it i pulled a bit of strings to be was able to get us an Arena good enough for us to fight, it took a bit but I finally did it".

"I created a large country sized Island out there in the middle of the ocean, it took a lot of low level earth type ability users to create it as it's not exactly easy finding a god-level earth type to build one in hours. And the land is immensely durable, good enough to survive our fight or most of it by estimation".

Vincent was quite surprised "that's quite a lot of effort, and you didn't tell me sooner huh", he too was quite a bit excited by this news.

"Was going to tell you somewhere this week...I think....anyways what was the news you had for me again" she called back to Vincent's former statement.

Vincent leaned back into the couch "we've been dethroned" his tone was direct.

Rozaria scrunched her brows a little "explain further what you mean by that", there was a change in her tone too and Vincent could understand her a little. He looked up at her this time again "currently you're the 3rd ranking student in the school and I'm the 4th".

There was a clear look of surprise in her eyes now but it was reigned in a second later and she was calm once more "I see...."

"Yeah" he nod his head "two new students, a boy and a girl. The girl being 4years of age and awakened with a power LVL of 4.8, her ability isn't an easy one either. She's a time manipulator, " Vincent shared.

Rozaria was calm still "quite a rare one Indeed" she said and Vincent agreed as he continued "I haven't met her yet but you should be able to, she's in your corner after all. But the boy, he's a true monster. 5 years old and a 5.6.... that's his power level, his potency also far exceeds mine".

And his ability although simple is quite a pain indeed, he possesses the ability to create force barriers and multiple of them even. It could be compressed or expanded to do whatever he wants, I don't have all the information on everything he can do with it yet but for anyone getting caught in that barrier of his.... it's death that awaits you. It's the same as me crushing someone but his is far stronger than mine, there's also his ability to reflect attacks" he remembered vividly the scene where Arlo suddenly ate the explosion inside his barrier, he still couldn't figure out exactly what happened there.

There was a moment of silence between them before Vincent looked up again as he had remembered another detail "oh yeah and he can also fly, extremely fast too".

She raised a brow "hmm, cool. So is he the one that fought Adam by any chance" she asked, Vincent nod his head. "He survived?" She asked again.

Vincent raised a brow in question "who?"

"The boy I mean, I'm suspecting he may have underestimated Adam since he's a child and unaware of his tricks so I'm asking if he survived" she clarified.

Vincent couldn't help but crack a small laugh "well you're right about one thing, he did underestimate and play with him. But not because he's a child, the kid is abnormal too in terms of intelligence. Adam set up a huge explosion trap as is his style which was going to destroy the entire place if I didn't contain and devour it-".

Rozaria was about to say something but Vincent continued.

"But It was pointless anyways" he finished. She tilted her head a little and Vincent continued "he took on the explosion but suffered no damage, I have no idea if he took it with his body or with his ability but it still was pointless anyways. He was going to really kill Adam after that though, luckily he listened to my thoughts and dropped the idea of doing so well ".

"Ohh, I see. So he either does posses nice enough combat reflexes to have reacted to the explosion fast enough or perhaps was lucky to be durable enough to survive it without a scratch" she hypothesized and Vincent nod his head "most likely, but the second is what I'm leaning towards now".

"Hm" she shrugged and looked at Vincent "has he displayed any interest in your position" she asked him.

He nod his head "yeah, although he may already be King now that I think about it. The strongest male is always regarded as king, it's just a matter of him deciding to officially assume the position I have. What way he may choose to assume it I'm not sure, perhaps by challenge or perhaps he just asks me to step down" he dragged a hand across his face.

Rozaria scrunched her brows looking at him "if you are challenged by him will you back out of it and surrender willing or..." her tone became dead serious.

Vincent looked at her through the side of his eyes and laughed "of course not, although getting into conflict especially with someone stronger than me is not my style...I still do have my pride you know".

Her face went back to it's normal aloof state "good, I'd have cut you off as my rival if you actually back down from a challenge".

He smiled "I'll ask you the same, if the girl ask for challenge will you actually fight her".

Rozaria was quiet, her gaze was somewhere else entirely but Vincent continued "her ability is a direct hard counter to both yours and mine, in fact to a lot of people. Then there's the fact she's stronger than both of us. We may have potency that breaches the entrance of god-level, but so could she. The boy definitely does surpass us both, Dawn has her as the only one worthy of rivaling the boy so he definitely knows something we don't. So I ask you, what will you do then Rozaria if faced with her challenge" his tone was low but for some reason every word he said just hit.

Rozaria looked down at Vincent and smiled "I'll still fight her obviously, I've never lost a fight before and I'm not planning to anytime soon" she gave her stance.

Vincent chuckled "as expected, but you'll be losing though don't worry".

"Heh, in your literal dreams maybe. Reality will be quite different" she pushed herself off the whole and set stray strands of her hair right..."in exactly two months, that's when our final battle begins. I'm not waiting any longer than that" she declared and then teleported away the next instant.

There goes Vincent's chance of even thinking to object the set date, he shook his head and got up from his seat as he began walking away. When was the last time he tried training himself, he may have quite a bit of rust on him as he is now and would probably lose to her like this....

[Some Hours before, back at the Dorm].

The huge hole in the building had been fixed by the earth type students present, since it wasn't complete destruction but just a hole in the wall they could do this themselves. So they fixed the outer one and also the ones inside until the last hole which came from Arlo's room, sometime after they had fixed it it they heard huge booms come from somewhere.

Then moments later was a huge tremor that spread all over the place and mighty gusts of wind blowing some off guard students away, luckily it wasn't the strongest that originated so no one really suffered any injuries. They had already figured out there was a big battle between two powers ongoing and although wanting to see it, fearing for their lives came first. It this is how much they're receiving from this far away, there's no way they'll be surviving being right at the epicenter of it.

But then came the point where a huge bright light nearly blinded everyone when it hit, everyone still outside turned their back to it and kept their eyes shut until the light was gone. They had immediately rushed inside the dorm after that last event as to them it was much safer in there, but luckily that would be the last event that would happen so the battle was finally over....

[Present.....Somewhere else].

Around a huge round table sat 12 figures hidden in the shadows, the place was nearly void of light and the edges of the round table had a serene blue light coming off it. Infront of each seat around the table were small glowing red circles, all figures had their faces looking forward in one direction at the screen before them which had someone talking to them about something.

"And about the boy, anything to report"

One of the figures asked.

["Oh, there hasn't been much development with him yet. He's been lazying around alot and has barely showed anything new or formed any relationship with anyone, there was a recent fight with him and another monster genius student but he won anyways"]

??: "Hmm" one figure clasped their hands, "send over the file of the student whom he fought with and the report of his character"

["Yes sir, give me a second"] the figure was already expecting this and made sure to cover all grounds.

Seconds later the red circles around each seat lit up with a small beep and a floating holographic screen came on, they all had a look at the file sent.

??: "Damn that man Dawn, keeping all the monsters to himself" one commented with light anger present in his tone after reading Adam's file and seeing his potential.

??: "well he won't be having him for long, when it comes time for the boy to leave we'll have our chance with him. He seems to be a bad egg and wouldn't take too much convincing to get over on our side */my side most especially/*" the last part was said to themselves internally.

??: "but we'll still have to smooth him out a bit with how he is now" said another one of the figures.

The head figure who sat at the first end was silent, Adam although impressive with and would be a good catch was not important to him right now. He'll leave this to the others, whichever group gets him is a good bonus for them. He wants a true monster and a King on his side, not some loose canon to deal with and pamper.

??: "Anything else to report" one asked after going over the file before her.

["Yeah, two days ago Sterling arrived, and Gretchen also"]

??: "He called those monsters back? For what purpose" asked one.

The figure in the screen shook their head ["I am currently unaware of what reason both were called back, perhaps a reunion as they are like family to Dawn after all"]

Someone tsk'd and cursed under their breath.

The head figure was still calm and with his hands clasped before him "well movements have to be incredibly managed now, if it was Sterling alone it's still doable as he's an aloof doofus most times. But Gretchen is incredibly sensitive to her surroundings and with her ability it's just asking to be caught".

The head figure looked up at the screen and leaned a little forward "from now onwards you will cease all monitoring activities and do not report, this order shall persist until both have left" he declared.

["Understood sir"] he complied, then the screen turned a blank blue static.

It was now back to the discussion between themselves.

??: "We really should have killed him off years ago when we had the chance, now he's gotten the boy too. 'Tch' and that woman Valerie too" one said in pure frustration.

Another turned to look at him with a confused expression "are you that brain-dead stupid to have forgotten just who Dawn is, do you want a reenaction of that day to happen again. The loses we suffered still haunt us till this very day, we almost DIED you bastard!" Her tone got harsher and her eyes glowed as a huge pressure washed over everyone present.

The figure whom had spoken out backed down in a cold sweat and activated his own pressure to try removing some of the weight on him, others were looking on in silence as the fool suffered. It's always the weakest ones that are the first to rile people up to fight against something beyond them when they themselves are incapable of doing so and will still be the first to back down when that challenge hits them.

"Enough" the head figure spoke softly, she calmed her rage and listened, stopping the flow of power making the other figure breath a sigh of relief.

The head figure shifted his gaze towards the one who spoke out first "No action will be taken against that old monster Dawn, his fate is already sealed. And out of respect to him, we'll allow him a peaceful death from our little gift to him. Neither am I any mood to have that weapon of mass destruction Sterling and the deadly witch Gretchen upon us, and no harm....I mean literally no harm will ever be done onto that woman Valerie. She may be the only thing that boy values and anything done against her will result in him against us...a most dreaded situation I'd like to avoid at all costs".

"The boy still has his secrets he's unwilling to spill yet, there exists another dangerous ability within that boy that was sensed when he came for his awakening so we avoid conflict with him at all costs. Do you understand me" he questioned sternly but still maintaining his calm voice and presence.

"I understand, sorry I got a bit frustrated and lost a bit of my reasoning" he apologized.

The head figure nod his head slightly "it's understandable, well I have things to attend so I'll leave you all to yourselves" then the suddenly burst into multiple yellow light particles and faded away completely.

Most others were done and began bursting into small yellow light particles that faded away in seconds, it remained only she and the one whom had spoken out first. She stared straight at him for some seconds then suddenly burst too, after she left he heaved a sigh of relief and pulled on his collar.

Her pressure was truly no joke indeed, but then his gaze turned to one of anger at how he was just embarrassed right now by her. "I'll make sure to repay this embarrassment when I fully absorb your faction into mine, soon enough you'll be begging at my feet". He whispered silently under his breath then burst into light particles also, the room was now silent and in lone darkness with only the blue light outline around the table and the blank blue screen being the only luminescent material visible enough to be seen.....

[Back at Nexgen].

Construction of the school had already begun, the workers had noticed a meter wide hole that probably spanned a kilometer deep and sent someone down to check it but they found out it was empty so they decided to just fill it up with manufactured earth and get back to work.

Hera stood on the sidelines watching work begin, some minutes after she turned around and walked back. She was already sure construction would be smooth so she could attend to the new visitor waiting for her.. "hello Venus" she greeted as she tucked her hair and walked towards her guest.

"Hera" she greeted back. "So Dawn's retired early huh.

"Yes, but I've had no choice to but to notify him of your abnormality" Hera picked her tab up and took a seat as she looked at Venus's updated profile again, it was quite the most shocking thing she'd ever seen or witnessed apart from the cases of Arlo and Seraphina.

"So you said you came here for another reason other than your abnormal rise in power, what is it, or if you'd prefer to wait for Dawn's arrival so you can tell him directly since you did come looking for him after all" said Hera as she looked up from her tab.

"I'll wait" Venus replied. She had no true problem with Hera really, it was just...she was too incredibly professional and direct for her taste. And a bit cold too, she could be an aloof airhead at times but those moments were rare.

"Alright then, he'll be here with you soon enough" she answered in a professional tone then got up, holding her tab to her chest as she walked out to go attend other matters.

Venus decided to lay down on the long couch while she wait for him, some minutes later she raised a hand up to her face and started running electricity through it. It still felt like a dream to her even now, Aria awakened blue and purple lightning but she awakened yellow.

And it seemed to be especially more aggressive than even Aria's purple, but she attributed this to how high her level was now. She willfully controlled a spark around her fingers and controlled more sparks to try giving them a particular shape as she was imagining in her head, but as hard as she tried it wasn't working at all.

She wasn't the least bit discouraged by this, she was practically a beginner with her new Ability and her trick stat should be extremely low now, but her power stat should be the highest along with her recovery stat and her defense too.

[A/N: The trick stat represents how good and versatile you are at controlling your ability, be it shaping it in an unconventional way or making it act as a different nature to it's set one. Recovery is obvious as it regards healing and regenerative prowress and she can heal entire limbs, organs or even regenerate a full lower half as she is now].

"Fascinating"

A Voice said, promoting Venus to deactivate her ability and look up to see Dawn standing at the entrance, "I know" she replied.

He walked forward and sat on the couch Infront of her "so i assume this is what you wanted to show me apart from your mysterious jump in level" Dawn asked.

"Yeah" she nod her head.

......."Hmm, well this truly is a most peculiar of cases. No recording of events for something like this ever happening so even I am truly lost on how this could have happen, but do tell the events led to this happening"

Venus began her narration of events, she told of the debacle between her and Aria which made Dawn a bit sad and regretful inside as he hoped and thought Aria would have gotten rid of her hate for Venus.

He very much knew the story also as he was close with Aria's guardian, after Venus was done with her story Dawn heaved a big breath "I see" was all he said.

Venus noticed the look in Dawn's eyes.."you have nothing to be sad for you know, I'm still more than extremely grateful you initiated contact between us" she said to him.

Dawn smiled and rubbed a finger along his temple.. "I know, i just can't help but be a bit sad. I knew it wasn't going to be easy but I hoped she would've let go of it by now after seeing it truly wasn't your fault" he replied and sighed again.

......."No, she doesn't actually hate me. But she is angry and I do not blame her at all, no child deserves that from anyone, especially her parents. But we'll sooth things out anyways, it's just a matter of time" she said with confidence and hope present in her voice.

"Heh, I believe so too Venus..... well from what you've narrated nothing suspicious enough points to this being able to happen. But then again your case at the beginning wasn't exactly a normal one either, stuck on a particular level since your awakening and being unable to grow since then. Never figured out the cause of that one also" Dawn rubbed his chin, remembering about her former condition and her current condition too, comparing the parallel similarities between them.

About an hour later after Venus had left Dawn sat alone in the room lost in thought.

Something weird had indeed been going on between the last generation and the current one, but the abnormalities of the last generation can in no way be compared to this generation. He could feel it in his cold icy bones, a new storm was coming. And it would rival that of the beginning, the era where the peak of god-level beings appeared.

There had only been 5 level 10's in the history of Ability users, that number was going to change soon with the appearance of the boy and that girl too. Rozaria was a wild card he didn't want to predict yet, but if anyone else had the closest potential apart from those two it would be her.

Vincent...he regrettably may be stopping at the same level as Sterling and Gretchen, but with his potency being above theirs when they were the same age he would be surpassing them by quite a bit even if he stopped at the same level. But nothing was ever set in stone so he may get surprised, it would indeed be welcome for him.

Dawn sighed mentally, as exciting as all this was there was a huge danger in this. There was a particular thing that happened with one stepping into the 10th level, it's the most dangerous High you can ever feel and he can't allow that last Incident to ever happen again.

Many new things came with becoming that level but the most dangerous of all was something quite scary, Dawn sighed and ran a hand through his hair. His time will soon be up, it saddened him quite a bit that he may not witness the boy and the girl truly reach the peak.

But he may at least get to witness most of Vincent's growth and Rozaria's too, he for sure was going to bear witness to their final battle and with that he was already satisfied. A smile formed across Dawn's lips unconsciously "You've been watching for quite a while my dear Gretchen" he turned his head to the side.

To anyone else he would be looking quite mad now if they saw him looking at the wall as if he was actually seeing someone. But he could sense and see her, the invisible time phantom of herself and the weird multicolored crystal like aura around her.

He couldn't access it but he was able to sense it, not even Sterling was able to sense her Phantoms nor affect them. But Sterling wasn't Dawn, they stood too far apart on the same plane.

Gretchen walked forward, stepping through the walls and still invisible to anyone else. Dawn knew this wasn't the real current Gretchen but a prepared phantom of her past self which had her current self inserted into it.

Every phantom of hers was imbued with nearly 90% of her own full power and she could summon thousands of these, an army of god-level Phantoms each casually surpassing that of the current strongest man made weapon of destruction with the power located in their pinky alone.

The greatest nightmare of nearly every opponent and the greatest cause for extreme caution as her Phantoms were also immune to all physical attacks but they actually had the power to affect the physical world itself. The perfect assassins, untraceable by nearly all means and invulnerable to all attacks.

The only other people apart from Dawn who could sense her Phantoms were time type ability users, it didn't mean just any time ability could also affect them as her level was too high to be affected by any if not all types of time abilities too.

To freeze, forward or reverse her and her Phantoms in time you would have to be above her in power, anything lesser than a level 9 is immediately rendered ineffective.

"What are you summoning phantoms for" he asked after she sat on the couch before him. He got up and walked towards the wine cabinet on the other side of the bar present in the room, then set a glass on the side bar as he filled it halfway and drank casually.

"Why do you seem incredibly less careless than last time, I see no actual security made against those guys" she asked casually.

Dawn chuckled "I see now, did you find anyone of their plants" he asked and turned around, walking back to the couch to take a seat.

"Nothing yet" she replied.

"Well that's because they're all gone" he smiled and sipped the last bit of his wine.."besides, even if by some chance one still existed it's not a problem indeed as the good stuff is totally out of anyone's reach so those guys can try all they want" Dawn shrugged and smiled.

Gretchen was silent and just stared at Dawn "I see"...

"Mhm... besides aren't you supposed to be with your student now. I thought that was why you left, have you.....been spying around all this while" Dawn asked while scrunching his brows, but it would seem Gretchen had invoked her right to remain silent.

Suddenly the Phantom was out of Dawn's sight completely, he sighed and slumped into the couch, for some reason his eyes became watery and his heart became a little bit heavy. He wiped them and wondered for what reason he would want to cry, there was nothing sad enough that happened to warrant this.

"This is weird, is this a side effect of whatever is happening to me" he questioned in a low voice, it couldn't be him being sad because he was dying soon as that was already expected and his heart was ready for it so what was it....

Some Kilometers away was Gretchen siting down in an open bar which all staff used if they ever needed a drink to unwind, her eyes glowed for a moment then she stood up and walked out of the place and began heading towards the files dorm...

[Somewhere in the world, at a subway station]

A dark hooded figure stood in the middle of the railway looking down at something in their hands, they looked to be so lost in a daze it was almost like they couldn't see or hear the high-speed train coming along the rail.

The one controlling the train had noticed the figure a little too late but still went for the brakes and yelled out the top of his lungs for the figure to hopefully get out if they're an ability user, a loud screech sound was heard as sparks flew from the rails.

The drivers heart sunk as he knew they weren't going to make it because the figure hadn't moved one bit so he closed his eyes involuntary as he couldn't bear witness to what was about to happen.

But just moments before the figure would get hit their hand got raised as they flicked a finger which made contact the moment the train came close enough, a strange pulse of energy came from their fingertips and rippled through the train and the whole subway as a strange multicolored glitch rampaged through the train and the entire subway.

The train had stopped in that moment of impact and then suddenly everything, both the subway and the train itself began splitting apart into small compartments with glowing edges, it was almost like everything had become......deconstructed and just floating around.

But for some reason neither the driver nor any of the passengers aboard the train had moved, all were still stuck in the same position they were except different parts of their body were floating apart from each other and each floating divided part had a glowing reddish pink energy coming from it.

There was no blood, just divided glowing body, subway, rail and train parts, and it looked like time had been incredibly slowed for some reason too.

The figure dropped their hands and crushed the object in their other hand too as they looked up to the sky, a tear dropped down their cheeks as a soft voice finally spoke: "Forgive me Old man, for this will be the last time" and then they were gone.....
