[Back at the principals office]

Dawn smiled and opened his eyes as the thick around him began disappearing and some Kilometers away was a huge icicle life like eye ball in the sky which suddenly puffed into snow, standing right besides him and holding a file to her chest was his assistant Hera waiting silently and patiently.

Once she saw he had opened his eyes she asked "how was his performance Sir". She had come up to submit a file for something but then had been made aware of what was going on, she wanted to call for someone to end it but Dawn told her not to cause he expected for the fight to end quickly. But imagine his surprise Arlo when had opted for dragging the fight, so he decided to watch to the end of it.

Dawn took in a cool breath then breathed out as he leaned back in his seat "well he won as expected, but his fighting style was quite different from what I expected" he rubbed his chin in thought.

"Different?" She questioned.

"Mhm, his ability is quite a serious fight ender as it doesn't allow for long drawn out fights even between most other serious fight ender abilities. You've read his file his file Hera so you should be aware of his capabilities" said Dawn, Hera nod her head and Dawn continued..."But he never used his ability in the way I expected him to, he instead opted to go for close combat with Adam".

Hera raised a brow "but that's not a favorable thing to do right sir, Adam's fighting style consists of setting up traps which could even harm those above him if not careful enough" she stated and Dawn agreed "Yeah, he indeed is a pesky little thing but.... Arlo's physicals far dwarfs his. The boy opted to play with his prey even after he'd proved the ability to move much faster than Adam could react. His defenses are indeed a marvel to behold too, all in all it was a fun match to watch. Adam performed exactly as I had expected with so many chances given to him, the boy is indeed strong. But that bright light was indeed an annoyance" Dawn whispered the last part to himself, it would be due to this light that Dawn would not see the little phenomenon that occurred when Arlo bled.

Hera was a little bit in thought now "so Adam has been dethroned now sir?" She asked based on the way he's described the battle it meant Arlo was taking up position as a king, but Dawn gave her a surprising answer "No" he answered.

"I don't understand sir" she said, a bit confused.

Dawn scraped his index along his cheeks "Well things are a bit complicated with the fight, Arlo did come out come out of that fight the winner from a.. tactical stand point in a way. But then he did absolutely nothing dangerous against Adam too, he too came out of that fight without a scratch" he then snapped his fingers "shall we say that Arlo left that fight a little early and also without giving Adam a direct bloody beatdown to leave him incapacitated or unconscious".

Hera finally understood now "Ah..I see, so he keeps his position for the time being then"

"Mhmm" Dawn replied, the door to his opened up a second later getting the attempt both ad they looked up to see Sterling step into Dawn's office..."Ohh, so that's i didn't see you when I came in" he said and walked up and took a seat.

"I expected you to interfere with that battle, it could have gotten dangerous at the end had the boy not neutralized the threat" Dawn said as he motioned for Hera to hand him the file in her hands and opened it.

Sterling shrugged "Ehn, not even I can resist the appeal of a good fight" he replied and Dawn gave a smug smile "you say that like you actually had a form of self control and discipline to resist it in the first place" he said and Sterling dropped his head down "you could have just let me have this old man, it was a moment for me to give myself some hype as a responsible adult".

Dawn laughed "sure sure, responsible adult. Like that was ever a thing" he laughed again a little more than before and Sterling just smiled but then Dawn started coughing heavily and brought out a handkerchief from his breast pocket, a huge amount of frost began growing all around Dawn but he took control of himself and recalled the effect. Sterling was startled as he hurriedly got up and reached forward "whoa are you okay old man" he asked in concern.

Dawn put down the hanky and folded it over quickly as he looked up and tapped Sterling's hands smiling a little "yeah, it's just my old body catching up to me" he replied but Sterling was frowning "I think it'll be fine if you pack it up for today old man" he suggested, his eyes showed concern for him.

Dawn smiled and tried to say something to refuse but Sterling was firm in his position "I mean it, there's no serious need for you to be here right now. And if someone may need your attention your staff is perfectly capable of attending to it, at this age of yours now you should be resting more" he said to him.

Edward sighed in defeat, he perfectly understood Sterling's worries but it just would feel so unnatural for him not to be here doing his thing. "Alright Sterling, I'll start leaving much earlier that before. Can I at least have that" he asked, Sterling looked at Dawn in silence for some seconds, he still wanted to refuse him but..."alright old man, I'll give you that grace. But I'll be asking questions from your staff to see if you keep to your end of the deal" he leaned back up and stood upright.

"Heh, so I'm the one who needs watching now huh" Dawn chuckled.

"Damn right old man, I ain't letting you hit the dirt on me yet" he said and Edward smiled "I think I've got enough years left in me for that to be happening anytime soon".

"And I'll make sure to stretch those years a little more" Sterling said with a serious tone to show Dawn he wasn't playing here. Dawn looked straight into Sterling's eyes and shook his head lightly as he couldn't help but smile "You know I've always planned on dying my own way Sterling, I'd never want to die with unfinished business, I want a peaceful rest in the after life knowing that I achieved all I ever wanted here and my legacy shall indeed live on for centuries to come" he leaned back in his chair and breathed out.

Sterling didn't say anything while looking at Dawn, he turned around and picked up his jacket again as he hung it over his shoulder facing his back to Dawn "please make sure he leaves early Hera" he asked of her.

She turned her gaze towards him and nod her head "I will".

"Thank you" then he walked towards the door and opened it to leave "I'll be seeing you old man, I'll begin my part of the deal tomorrow" then he left shutting the door gently behind him.

Hera looked down at Dawn who had a solemn look in his eyes..."shall I proceed now sir" she asked.

Dawn pushed his chair backwards and took in a breath, closing his eyes for a moment as he opened them again a second later showing his intense blue glowing eyes "you may proceed now Hera" he gave his permission and she nod her head as her deep red eyes glowed too.

She tapped her index onto Dawn's shirt and a red energy traversed through as it instantly became ash. A blazing red aura flared around her, she looked at Dawn's chest which had a deep blue Crystal orb growing on it. It was growing at a visible rate and was creeping up Dawn's neck, his breath became frosty and his face was one of pain, she raised her hand to it. On her arm were multiple red rings rotating around it, from her finger tips a thick red wisp of energy poured out and were guided into the crystal.

A strange marking appeared around his chest which stretched all the way to his back too, Dawn's face was becoming more control the longer the energy interacted with the crystal which was receding at a visible rate.

Hera was focused on the task at hand and brought out even more power into the crystal, she continued on like this for a full 10 minutes then slowly stopped the flow of power and depowered herself. The rune markings all over Dawn's body began slowly receding seconds later until they were fully invisible to the human eyes, he looked to the side and got up as he walked to the end wall of his office then gently placed her palm onto the wall.

A blue screen scanned his hands and a visible crack formed in the wall which split apart seconds later to reveal a very large hidden room in there, he walked into it and came out wearing a new shirt identical to the one which Hera burned sometime ago. The crack closed itself second later and Dawn came back to his chair *fuuuu*...."How long do I really have left now"...

....."Based on how strong it's gotten...6 years at the max sir, not counting the unpredictable times small waves may flare up. I can't hold it off any longer as my power lost much of it's effects on it, the next wave will be the last...." Hera broke the news to him directly, at first when it was discovered that her power was able to suppress that thing just fine it became a source of joy for Dawn.

But soon later on they found something else again, the crystal had somehow become able to adapt and negate her power. The rejection she felt from it was strong, she could no longer just give her power in small doses anymore and had to pour in immense amounts of it to push back against the rejection. It worked, at least for that short time.

Luckily the wave that happened today wasn't a full powered one as the first time, it was just a slight disturbance which showed her hold on it had weakened even further, this time even faster than before.

Dawn nod his head while looking to be lost in thought, he turned his gaze towards her "sorry I must keep depending on you like this Hera" he said to her in a sincere tone.

Hera shook her head "no sir, It's been no problem for me doing this. And I'll keep holding it off for as long as I can".

Dawn smiled and shook his head as he steadily got up from his chair again after turning off his computer and Hera watched as he readied himself. "I'll be sticking to my end of the deal now, I know you won't lie to Sterling if I fail to keep up, even if I ask you not to"

"That is correct Sir" she was direct with her reply which made Dawn scoff and smile "I really have no one on my side huh" he joked.

.... "It would seem so Sir.

Dawn was just speechless, she couldn't even at least try to sugarcoat it? He knew she wouldn't but a man can only hope right. Hera followed a small distance away from Dawn as he left the office, Edward's eyes glowed as he lifted his right arm which was engulfed in an icy blue aura and then he place in onto the door.

A strange rune marking appeared on the door and it even spread far out onto the walls, he retracted his hand a second later and turned to leave. Dawn was a careful man, to him there was no such thing as too much security especially regarding things of his. The only one who would still have access to this place other than him was Hera herself, she was literally the one who built the seal after all and his most trusted assistant.

"I'll be leaving everything to you for the day Hera" he turned around and said to her. She bowed slightly and Dawn began on his way out while Hera returned to her post, she had to access the damage done by the battle herself and also fix whatever might need fixing.....

[Meanwhile at Venus's house].

Venus looked on wide eyed and mouth agape as Aria approached closer to the house but behind her was someone being dragged along behind her, she had no idea what was going on or who was being dragged along but she sure felt sorry for whomever it was.

Once Aria was close enough Venus raised a brow as she got a good enough look at who it was "Arlo?" She expressed, clearly bewildered and confused.

"What's happened! And you can't just drag someone along the ground for god knows how long, he's not even your enemy" she rebuked Aria who was now standing before her and knelt down to check Arlo's pulse while Aria watched her silently with an unbothered casual look.

It seemed steady so that was good but what was wrong with him, she looked up to Aria for answers "what happened to him" she asked again.

Aria shrugged "I don't know, he had a huge fight with Adam and after that I saw him in my training space. He fell unconscious soon after for no reason that I'm aware of" she narrated.

Venus was very much surprised, she was aware a huge fight was happening due to the loud booms and the mini sun up in the sky that had shone for some seconds, but what surprised her was he was in the very center of it. "He challenged Adam?"

Aria nod her head.

"Why?" She asked. Aria shrugged, that too was a mystery to her. Unless if he suddenly decided to become King, but why go for Adam instead of Vincent then.

Venus looked down at Arlo for some seconds then readied herself to carry him up seeing as Aria was looking quite disinterested in doing so, surprisingly there wasn't a single bit of dirt attached to his body after being dragged along. Well this was welcomed anyways, once they were inside Aria was a bit surprised when Venus didn't set him on the couch but instead took him to her room.

But she paid no need to it and went along with it, if she didn't care then there wasn't any reason for her to be.

Venus set him down onto her bed and then stepped back as she wondered what to do about this, "wait why bring him here in the first place" she turned and asked Aria, she may be a healer but she wasn't a true doctor and Arlo looked to be physically fine.

Aria shrugged "I didn't think it through to be honest, I just dragged him over". Venus face palmed herself "I'm very much going to tell him about this when he wakes up, perhaps at your next beatdown he returns the favor too". Aria slightly flinched when she heard that but managed herself very well as to not show Venus her threat had no valid effect on her.

Venus placed her palm onto his head and leaned down to place her ears onto his chest, everything definitely seemed normal so why is he out cold. "Did Adam perhaps create a special toxin or gas during their fight" she wondered out loud unknowingly.

Something clicked for both of them as they looked to each other but then they both paused, for the toxin or gas to be powerful enough to even come close to affecting an Elite-tier like Vincent let alone someone like Arlo. It's pretty much impossible to poison an aura user, even if it were the most powerful poison in the world.

All it takes is a simple flow of power to swallow and negate the poison in their bodies, but this is of course not counting when aura itself is turned to poison. That's where troubles begin, it no longer is just a problem of one regulation to do the trick, it becomes a matter of how strong your aura is. Too weak and the poison affects you, strong enough and you nullify most of not Al of it with a bit of work, too strong and it's useless against you.

Arlo falls into the too strong range, as does Vincent but on a much lesser scale than Arlo. "It's impossible he could have done so, his potency would have been washed over by Arlo's as the difference between them is too great" Aria commented.

Venus nod her head in agreement "I want to try something" she adjusted herself and placed her hands on both sides of his head. Her eyes glowed as her hands were covered in a yellow watery like energy.

Aria looked on for some seconds before finally asking "what are you doing".

"I want to see if i could possibly affect his mind" Venus responded as she kept on pouring more and more energy into her hands.

....."but your level isn't anywhere close to the point where you can heal someone's mind".

"Yes, I know that. Which is why I asked why bring him to me in the first place if you know this too" Venus replied, a little irritability present in her voice.

........."Well I'll get someone good enough to help him then" . Venus's gaze hardened as she stopped the flow of power in her hands and turned to Aria "and the meaning of that is.." she inquired

Aria had a unfazed look and turned around to leave "since you've confessed your inability to help, I'm getting someone who has the ability to do so. Sorry I brought him to you in the first place" she opened the door to leave but suddenly a new hand was holding hers.

Aria looked up at Venus's fiery yellow eyes with no change in her expression.

"Seems we need to clear a bit of air between us, let's take this outside" she opened the door herself and went out first with Aria following close by after some seconds.

She closed the door gently behind her and continued following Venus until they had moved quite deep into the forest and were now in a good enough space.

Aria came within meters of her still with a poker face, "for the past week you've been a little weird now Aria, i ignored it and still tried to keep the peace as I always have. Yet--"

"You're not innocent either" Aria cut her off and without warning was suddenly in front of Venus with a hard punch to her gut. A gush of wind blew as Venus's eyes widened and she keeled forward feeling the wind being knocked out of her, but she bit her lips and grabbed onto Aria's hands, without Aria having the time to react her arm was suddenly dislocated.

Aria's breath hitched as her eyes flew wide open from both surprise and the rush of pain she felt, her arm dropped from Venus's gut and she moved back a little. Her knuckles were bloody and some pieces of bloody flesh was hanging onto it, Venus gasped in pain and brought her hand to her gut as she fell on one knee.

Her hand glowed and she healed the deep fist like bloody imprint on her gut, Aria watched her with an unreadable gaze, her left arm hanging limp.

She held her limp arm and then set it back into a place, a clack sound was heard again showing it had been fixed. Aria released a light groan but then Vanished again, this time Venus was ready as she raised her hand up to intercept Aria's punch from underneath displacing all it's power and in the same instant forming her other hand into a spear like shape which was coated in a thin yellow aura.

It weaved through the air with seriously insane speed and power and aiming for Aria's gut, Aria tracked her movements but it was too late....for her. Just moments before being impaled a lightning field erected around Aria's body and that was what Venus's hand connected with, her fingers burst on impact with it and only the base of her palm was left. It was too much, that much insane force and speed impacting with something like Aria's field which had the nature to fry and burst attacks on impact.

There was silence between both of them, the field around Aria's body disappeared and Venus's arm dropped down. A huge amount of blood was pouring out of her arm but that wasn't what bothered Venus at this moment, her eyes became teary.

She didn't even bother to hold it in and just let the tears pour out freely, "why do you do this to me Aria, I'm sure I've tried and succeeded in being a good Sister to you so why" Venus asked genuinely and with immense sadness present in her tone. Unknown to her and Aria the massive blood flow had stopped, it wasn't healing but it just stopped.

Aria watched her in silence...."it's your fault this happened, you know you can't beat me. Till this day I still wonder if truly we came from the same bloodline".

Aria moved a bit further from her and continued "Mom and Dad were so sure you were going to be a genius when you awakened, and they were right.....Or so they thought. You awakened a genius alright, they told me how happy they were when they found out about your power level, imagine their heartbreak when it was discovered you awakened an ability totally opposite to our bloodline".

"How in the world could it have happened, the possibility that the child awakens an ability totally different to that of it's parents is so infinitesimally small that it was may have just been treated as zero if not for 2 recorded events where it's actually happened in history".

"And as if you weren't failure enough it was discovered that for some reason you couldn't grow in strength no matter how hard you trained, even age couldn't do anything about it. You're still at the very same strength you had when you awakened"

"Mother thought it was over for her, my guardian recounted to me how she mom felt like the greatest failure in the world, she thought she failed you and herself for some reason. It wasn't so easy as to just conceive another child again that would inherit our bloodline cause it was impossible for such a once in a blue moon event to happen twice in such a short timeframe. Mother's strange condition made sure to prevent that, it took nearly two decades later before another child would be conceived again and that would be me".

"I awakened as both a greater and lesser genius than you in a way, I was called the greatest blessing for our parents. But was I actually treated as one? No, well at least in the beginning i was. Even after my birth and my awakening the most loved daughter wasn't actually me, they talked about you all the time even after you had defected from home".

The longer Aria's rant went on the colder her voice became, it looked to even be breaking up in some parts "It broke mother's heart and Dad wasn't that much better, I began realising soon that I wasn't conceived out of love like you were but as just a desperate attempt to secure our bloodline. In the years before my awakening i think that's when I was in a way treated as a daughter, and it very much peaked a week after my awakening".

"I don't know what happened from then on, whether they thought since i had awakened now and the bloodline was secured they didn't have to treat me with love or what but they just became so distant. A year after my awakening i too was sent here where you were, they were aware this was where you were all those years also but it was out of their power to help. I too was made aware of this fact and it made me curious, what exactly made them just want you so much over me. You were the failed genius and I was the one with a bright future so what exactly could it have been".

"It took a while before I met you elder Sis, principal Dawn's idea was for us to meet and have a new beginning. I went with it cause I wanted to figure it out, but no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't see it. I also at some point wanted truly for us to become family and I think it was going fine, you annoyed the very life out me sometimes but it was in good fun".

"I thought it was all okay till I found out that even after everything i just couldn't bring myself to love you. I don't know what exactly holds me back from doing so but I just can't, was it a grudge, resentment? I don't know. I keep try so hard to do so but it just feels all so fake with me" Aria's voice had reached breaking point and tears too began flowing out.

"You're a goddam liar" Venus said with cold rage, and then something strange began happening to Venus, she felt herself finally and truly merge with something inside. Her aura was pouring out in huge amounts without her willing it. It looked to be rising, somehow getting stronger and the potency of it just kept growing stronger, it very much surprised Aria but she watched on wanting to see what this weird phenomenon was.

Her presence was becoming more heavier and defined, Venus's hair floated freely like the wind and in the middle of her gut a big golden glowing circle shone through. Multiple golden veins slowly snaked all around her body and once it reached her now destroyed arm it begun reconstructing it, but this wasn't the end to the phenomenon.

It started as a small spark, then it multiplied and got even more stronger and fiercer. Then in one instant it turned into a full on raging blaze of golden lightning around her body, Aria jumped back in shock and fear. She activated her lightning field but a bolt managed to get her, it tore through her defense to her flesh and right to the bone even though it was only just a small spark.

She groaned in pain, it burned, it burned so bad. What sort of pain is this, even with her near immunity to electricity it hurt like hell, what sort of power was that. She asked herself while looking straight at Venus. she really couldn't believe it, "This... this is impossible, an awakening?" She asked clearly bewildered about how it was possible someone awakens another ability this late in their life, it had never been heard of or recorded ever in the history of Ability users.

But that wasn't all, along with the new strange awakening was a breakthrough and rise in power also. Venus slowly raised her head up, her eyes were in a fiery blaze of power. Aria sensed it, the connection between both of them and the new power of Venus that surpassed even hers. Her formerly most useless elder sister had now become the stronger of the two, her disgrace was finally over.

"Are you scared Aria" Venus asked prompting Aria to look straight into her eyes, there was a new found confidence in them and they almost seemed to be... looking.... down on her. No, or should she say not exactly looking down. It was the same eyes you use in viewing a child, you acknowledge it's weakness and that want you have to protect such a thing.

It made Aria mad for some reason, she wasn't weak nor was she a child. She didn't need protecting, she didn't need cuddling, she was strong. She was born this way and will always be this way, never would she need or want protecting from anyone.

Venus got up and examined the golden lightning field raging around her body "I don't know how or why this happened, perhaps I may have to ask that boy what he did"

Boy? What boy. Does she mean Arlo cause that's the only person which would fall under that category and he's also the only one she's met in a while. But what exactly could he have done to her to make her like this, Aria asked herself mentally.

Venus looked at her arm which had fully regenerated by. She wasn't supposed to be able to regenerate limbs, her level wasn't high enough to do so. So for her to have regenerated a whole new limb her level wasn't near anything near what it was before and had far surpassed it.

She had no idea how strong she was right now but this wasn't the most important thing to her right now, "Why do you lie Aria, I thought we were way past this phase already" she depowered the lightning field around herself and began walking towards her lil sis.

As she stepped forward a yellow wave of energy travelled from beneath her feet, through the grass, spread throughout the trees and basically the whole forest. Aria was surprised by this but then she looked down at her wounded hand to see it closing up and regenerating at as fast rate, it was done in seconds.

Aria looked up as Venus now stood before her gazing strongly into her eyes with those blazing yellow eyes of hers, "why would you want to hate or resent me for something that was out of my control, and why do you try to lie to yourself when you say you don't feel anything".

"I know you Aria, you're like the most open book in the world to me. You've never been great at hiding things from me, I could read everything about you the very moment I laid eyes on you. I saw you slowly morph into what you are today, I watched you let go of your resentment for me. I never blamed you, it sure as hell wasn't your fault that they treated you that way and it sure as hell wasn't mine also".

"I...DO Love you Aria and I know you do love me also, from the moment we began our bond I've regretted it. That I wasn't there for you when you were born, I never knew that I would one day want to protect and love someone so badly as I do you. That's why it makes me so happy that your childhood isn't truly over, I still have time to make up for the past and I worked hard towards that goal everyday of my life".

"But if there is one thing that does scare me it's that I was too weak to be able to protect you, I know you're strong Aria and it makes me happy that you're not like me but....I just. If maybe something happens and it's too much for even you to handle how do I do anything to protect you then, it's not easy for me also".

"And whenever I watch you fight I just scoff internally, elder sister my ass is what I say to myself. You're damn strong Aria, it's always made me a bit uncomfortable Inside cause what exactly would you be needing me for. I never feared anyone elses strength but yours Aria, it would be so easy for you to break away from me with how strong you are."

"I know it's stupid of me always thinking of the negatives in that scenario and not trusting our bond but i couldn't help it. This is part of the reason why i stopped coming to watch you, I didn't want to tempt myself into more negative thoughts" she ran a hand through her head and sighed then sat down on the grass with her hand outstretched to Aria.

Aria looked on at her for some seconds, Venus took the initiative and held her hand, pulling her down gently. Aria complied and let it happen, Venus sat her down right in the centre and wrapped her hands around her then rest her cheek on Aria's head.

Both of them didn't bother in saying anything else and just stayed in this position, enjoying the silence of this moment. The forest seemed to just be brimming brightly with green vitality, flowers bloomed all around, this would be attributed to the wave of energy that Venus sent out sometime ago.

........"Can you let go now" asked Aria after spending some minutes in silence, Venus responded by hugging her even closer to herself and smiling "why is your heart beating so fast Aria" she teased.

Aria gave no reply to that question and instead deflected with another "Arlo still needs attention doesn't he". Venus's smirk grew "ohhh~ so is that why your heat beats so fast Aria, worried about him are-Ouch!" She exclaimed and released her tight hold on Aria who took this opportunity to move some meters away from her.

Venus rubbed her wrists and got up with a sigh "let's go then, I think i may be able to do something now" she walked out in the opposite direction and Aria followed close by as they both navigated their way out the forest.

"What did you mean by asking that boy what he did" Aria broke the silence after the stepped out in the main open ground all the way to their house.

Venus looked a little down to her side at her and then back up "I'll explain the details later" she replied. Aria looked up at her big sis as they walked ......"you said the"

"Hm?" Venus questioned as her gaze went Aria again.

"You said the, not all the details" she repeated in full.

Venus gazed at her in silence for a while before shifting her gaze forward again "there's just something you can't tell people Aria, even if that person may be the closest one to your heart. We all keep secrets, you do and I do. Everyone does, it'll come out when I'm willing to Aria so for now I'll just be giving some details" she raised a hand to Aria's head and gently ruffled it.

Aria nod her head in acceptance, it would be quite incredibly selfish if she pushed for Venus to tell everything when she herself also has her very own secrets as Venus had pointed out. So she'll wait or maybe just even forget about it until maybe Venus remembers to tell her, she was still going to be getting some details after all so that's a win.

In minutes they had already returned back and Venus went towards the unconscious Arlo while Aria stood back watching her Sis do her thing.

Venus's eyes glowed and outstretched her hand but paused when she saw the change in her powers and raised a brow, a little bit above her left arms wrist was a strange yellow tree tattoo. And the way her powers manifested had changed also, instead of the liquid and flowing like state it was before it had taken on a flame like nature. But it wasn't just that, the flame was strange. It felt heavy in a way and it behaved like something close to the former nature of her powers and then also just like a flame would.

"Is something wrong" Aria asked after seeing Venus spend so long looking at something.

Venus turned back a little and raised her right arm showing Aria the new change in her powers "this, I guess they've changed too". Aria walked closer to her and looked at her hands, Venus put her left arm a bit above and watched her gaze waiting to see if Aria would see it too

"Well congratulations, you became cooler" Aria said as she looked up, Venus smiled and shook her head then went back to what she was going to do.

It seems she is the only one who can see the Tattoo, if she wants answers for why she would have to wake this boy up as he was the most likely cause for this. She placed her hands on both sides of his head and closed her eyes, her goal was his mind. She opened her eyes again and kept going at it *//so this is how it feels trying to reach someone's mind//* she thought to herself.

It was quite strange in a way, almost like she could feel his emotions. His thoughts were blind to her as she's not a telepath type Ability user, she's closer to an empath in a sense of the word but not truly one. She only had access to a blurry surface level of his emotions, although blurry it was still easy to figure out.

She felt peace from him at first, but then a strange wave of immense pain hit her. It almost made her lose touch if it weren't for her strong will, the emotion was only there for a moment and gone the next making her question if she felt it at all as the peaceful emotion was still here.

But apart from that she was feeling something else, it wasn't an emotion which was she was feeling nothing from it but she felt something else. In her mind it looked like a magnificent golden flame with so many things golden branch outlines extending from it, the strongest thing she could describe from how she felt looking at it now was....control. It was like at any moment she could call it to her, something told her taking from it meant seriously bad news because as magnificent as it looked it also felt incredibly quite weak. But she also felt like she could give to it somehow, perhaps that would....help?.

Arlo's head suddenly shifted a little which broke her out of the space she was in, Aria too noticed the movement and came forward. His eyes fluttered a little and then slowly opened but closed back again, then they began opening again.

This time they stayed open and he was looking at the two people in his vision, Venus's glowing eyes and the flame like thing in the sides of his vision which was surely coming from her hand as they were outstretched to both sides of his head.

And then Aria besides her who was looking straight at him, he said nothing at all and Venus drew back her hand then smiled "welcome back to the living" she said.

Meanwhile Arlo was just thinking something else entirely in his head, in one day he had fallen unconscious twice and both times woke to someone doing something to him. At least this time it was someone he knew and was a beautiful woman with the nicest hands but he digresses, the main point was that he knew for sure he was bound for the weirdest of stuffs happening.

This trend of falling asleep and then waking up to something weird has happened three times or more now and he wasn't counting his stars on more not happening, "what a pain" he said out loud unintentionally.

"Hm?" Expressed Venus, he turned his gaze to her and then proceeded to get up "it's nothing, I'm guessing you...healed me?" Arlo spotted something wrong with statement of his cause he's felt her strength before and it sure as hell wasn't close to doing anything to someone's mind. So he may have just woken up on his own now, but then what was she doing before then.

Venus was about to speak but got beat to it by Aria "what did you do to her" she asked, both Venus and Arlo turned their gazes to her.

"What?" Arlo questioned, obviously confused.

"Geez Aria, calm down a bit will you. He's fallen unconscious, then dragged by you through the dirt. And only now has he woken up, try to give a bit of space now and let the boy gather his thoughts" Venus said, ratting her out completely in just one breath and making Aria leave her mouth a little open in shock by this move.

"Strange" Arlo tilted his head a little while looking at Venus, what was said now hadn't registered in his ears at all .

Venus noticed his curious and questioning look and turned her gaze towards Aria. "Aria" she called to her, gaining her attention.

"I've promised to give you some of the details later right.." she paused. Aria nod and just kept gazing straight into her eyes knowing exactly where she was going with this but still wanting her to complete it.

"Then can you please give us a little time, there's something's I need to ask him first" Venus asked, Aria shrugged and turned around to leave, closing the door firmly behind her.

Venus turned her attention to Arlo, "I would have asked you to just put up a barrier before since I know you can block out sounds with it too but it didn't come quick enough to me" then she sat down on the bed besides him.

Arlo was thanking his stars he dodged a close bullet with that one, forget about just falling unconscious for some hours, he's gonna enter a freaking coma if he was going to hold it up for as long as he suspected he would.

Venus laid her head down and rest her hands atop her tummy, Arlo followed suit, it would be just uncomfortable sitting up when he could be resting his head also.

......"Arlo, I'm not in any way asking for all your secrets, all I want to know is what you did to me. You didn't bother to hide your tracks for you being here that day so you must be expecting this already right" she asked.

Arlo rubbed his cheeks with his index "well...just like Aria I posses two abilities" he confessed, Venus flexed a brow as the most obvious of her theories had been confirmed.

"And that's what I used to heal you"....

Venus waited but Arlo wasn't saying anything else, she blinked multiple times "wait is that it?"

"Yeah" Arlo nod his head in earnest.

Venus couldn't just believe it, what sort of explanation was that. She would have concluded his second ability was just a healing type but she would swear on her grave it wasn't, healing someone doesn't make you awaken another ability, she wanted more. "Did you take what I said too literally" she asked.

"Mhm" he replied, he gave the information he deemed was enough without spilling all his secrets. Very soon he'll have to be on the lookout for whomever the Organization is using to monitor him, his Butler Youseph wasn't with him so he's out of the equation for now.

Perhaps their next spy will be someone of his age, who knows but it'll be fun if they do send someone. He'll be extracting quite a bit of information from whomever it is, he also missed the comforting presence of his maids.

If they were allowed here they may have helped speed up the process to his recovery, Arlo felt a light tap on his forehead and woke up from his thoughts. "Hm?"

Venus sighed and raised her hand up, Arlo followed her movements. His eyes widened when Venus's hand was suddenly ablaze with yellow lightning, she stopped the flow of power a second later and rest her hand again. "Let's not beat around the bush now, some minutes ago I awakened a second ability and it definitely something to do with whatever you did to me" Venus turned her head to see Arlo's expression.

......."I have no idea how that could've happened, I don't possess the ability to give someone a second awakening....at least not that I'm aware of if I even have that ability in the first place" Arlo replied, he was extremely caught off guard by this also.

Venus sensed the sincerity with his tone, the boy was genuinely surprised also. How was she getting answers now if he too didn't know what he did, "what truly is your second ability's power, healing someone doesn't just solve the problem with what happened to me that day. I was seconds away from death and the amount of blood I lost is truly immense so please tell me what you did Arlo" she genuinely asked.

Arlo sat up and ran his hand through his hair "I healed you and then forcefully passed on some of my life force into you" he confessed. Venus's eyes widened as the word life force resonated with her, she thought back to the flame she saw and now understood why that flame felt so weak. "So that's what it was" she muttered under her breath.

Venus sat up and put her hand before Arlo's face, he was confused by this action so he just looked up at her with a look that asked for an explanation.

"Can you see it" she asked, Arlo looked down at her hands again and back up at her "your hand?" He questioned, Venus wanted to correct him but then noticed she had the wrong hand out."Oh it's not this one" she dropped it and instead showed her left hand.

Arlo looked down again and raised a brow "the tattoo's nice if that's what you're asking", Venus was joyed "so you can actually see it" she said excitedly but Arlo was just confused. Of course he could see it, why wouldn't he be able to.

"I tried showing it to Aria before but she couldn't see it so I thought it must he connected to whatever you did" Venus explained. This made Arlo raise a brow and look down at the yellow tree tattoo again but sensed nothing special from it, he could see it sure but he couldn't feel anything from it at all.

And although sure his senses aren't anything close to what they were before, it wasn't non-existent after all and could see about a level above everyone else.

"I have a strong feeling it's somehow connected to my healing ability, but in what way I don't know how" Venus looked closely at the tree tattoo on her hand then looked up at Arlo.

"How were you able to pass on life force to me, is that the true function of your ability" she asked.

"Ehn, you can say that sure". Although not part of his two main abilities and was just something he retained as a god/demon it still was an ability of his anyways.

*//So he still does have more secrets huh//* she thought to herself. "So then...you gave me a part of your life force and then I had a restless night cause of it and now I awakened a new Ability".

Arlo nod his head, the restless night detail was new but oh well. There was something that did strike him as a possible reason for this, life force is strongly connected with Aura itself. In fact they both are 99.98% the same and the slight difference between them is nearly inconsequential.

So he might as well just say he fused his aura with here which would make more sense for why there was this abnormal reaction. His aura contained properties of his god self so somehow the tiniest bit of divinity still contained in his current body did this.

"I guess this is all I'm getting for now huh" she sighed and looked up at Arlo "can you tell me the reason you fought Adam".

"Hm? Oh...that. He overstepped his boundaries and so I decided to put him in his place, luckily Vincent stopped me from killing him" Arlo said casually but Venus was shook internally by this.

"Did he do anything bad enough for him to deserve death" she asked, her heart pound internally. The kid couldn't possibly be something like Adam himself can he, she wanted to be wrong.

Arlo rubbed his chin "Well in my judgement he did, barging into my room with no permission and probably for a very obvious evil reason yes, he did deserve death". He stared straight into her eyes.

Venus rubbed her temple and shook her head "that's still too far, what he should gotten is a good beatdown but killing him would be too far" she said to him.

Arlo nod to the side "maybe"

"No! Not maybe, definitely too far" Venus said with a much harsher tone with caught Arlo off guard, then he scrunched his brows.

Venus gazed Arlo dead and eye and said "you can't be that trigger happy to take a person's life for something like this, have you also ever killed someone before. I'm not giving you a speech about how life is precious and be righteous or something like that no".

"I'm saying not to just want to dispatch lives so easily, especially those of powerful talented individuals. These are are the future pillars of society and have a lot to offer...even though they may be a bit uncultured right now" her tone went a little lower for that last part.

Arlo was a little lost on what to respond with, was he getting lectured because this was definitely new to him.

"What position are you taking up in the future" Venus asked already expecting the obvious answer.

"King".

"Then you should know if you want to be a good and effective king you shouldn't be so quick to dispatch the lives of whomever may oppose or anger you, a good punishment is enough and if the pest does persist....then you have the full authority to eliminate it" her tone became a little evil at the end which made Arlo raise a brow as he also noticed the slight smile tugging at the end of her lips.

She was definitely a little crazy, but he definitely wasn't one to talk anyways.

Venus took in a fresh breath of air and breathed out "sorry if I went off on a tangent there" her tone had gone back to normal. Arlo shrugged "it's understandable" he dropped down the bed and moved his tail a little to get rid of the stiff feeling in it.

He turned back to get hold of Venus's gaze on him. "Thank you for healing me Venus, I'll be going now. Goodbye" he smiled and turned back as he head towards the door.

"You said you gave me life force right..."

Arlo froze his steps and turned around again, nodding to the question asked.

"I want to know exactly how much you gave me and if you have a way to replenish what you lost"

He smiled "I gave enough" he answered then turned around to walk again but Venus still pushed for the remaining reply to her question.

"And your life force, can you restore what you've lost"

"I'll find a way eventually" he reached towards the door handle, opening it and closing the door gently behind him after.

Venus kept staring blankly into empty space, she wanted to ask why he would even do that in the first. Something just made her feel guilty, like she may have possibly been the for cutting this boys life short. She did jokingly proclaim as her adopted son but that was just in the moment and nothing truly serious, he might possibly be the greatest genius to ever exist and possibly will ever exist and the gateway to her probably experiencing the greatest age to come in the era of Ability users.

He's not a good or righteous boy that's for sure, nor could he be called evil in the true sense...yet. If anything he felt just so detached from almost everything, like there was almost nothing he cared about.

The thought that he possibly saved her from just a moral obligation alone was laughable cause she couldn't even sense a bit of that coming from him, perhaps he may have did it because he had a way to easily recover. So to her this may seem like a big sacrifice to do for anyone, but for him it may be just as easy as breathing.

So carefree and yet so attached at the same time, his personality matched that of a King and he's made his stance clear that he's becoming one. She slumped onto the bed raised her left arm to har face level and looked at the tree again, thinking about the flame she saw and the feeling she got that she could piss help.

"Was that his life force" she asked herself silently, "but then how am I able to see it, and why the feeling of me being able to help somehow" she questioned herself but put these thoughts aside for now as other matters awaited her.

She stepped out of her room and head straight to Aria's to check up on her.

**Knock knock**

The door opened up seconds later and Aria looked up at her. "I want to go confirm what my current level is, I can't hide it and I'm sure my awakening would have alerted them" Venus said calmly to her.

Aria nod her head in understanding, Venus gently rubbed her head and smiled then turned around to leave "I'll still give the details when I return to don't worry" said Venus as she left.

Aria closed the door and lay down on the bed to rest, a sudden weakness had overtaken her body and that's all she wanted to now....

Meanwhile Venus had already prepared herself and left the house, walking would take too much time and she didn't want that, so she Vanished and blitzed past 10kilometers in a near second while in base.

She flexed a brow and smiled already liking her new casual foot speed as it solved problems faster, clothes on her body won't be affected by friction because of the passive slight aura field around her always now.

Venus now stood before the building where abilities were measured and took in a deep breath, she's going to have quite the bit of explaining to do indeed.
