《Superficial Story》Chapter 7: In the King’s Chambers.

(Thanks to Deenbasyd for the idea of making something out of Andarluz. I was thinking of just getting him to be a disposable character, but you gave me a nice idea.
Mr.White Calcium… Reincarnate a Gorila?
Seriously?!
…
Stay tuned. I will make an easter egg for you ;) )
I’m inside a tight and smelly place.
It’s the King’s Chambers.
What a craphole.
There’s this awful smell of shit just, everywhere.
And this hag here?
All sick, bloodied, full of pus.
Even his ass is rip apart.
I guess someone raped the guy.
“Hey, wake up piece of shit!”
[Andarluz] - Who.. wha… PLEASE DON’T HURT ME! PLEASE! NO MORE! NO MORE!
“Shut up asshole. I’m not here to hurt you.”
He’s finally opening his left eye.
Not that he can open it too much. It’s all swollen.
And, besides, the right one was ripped off.
So no wonder he’s like a headless chicken right now.
Not that I care.
Omniscience, what is the best way for me to make this guy my follower?
[Answer]: Make him feel like he made a deal with the devil.
The fuck?
[Answer]: If he feels safe then he will become grateful but will expect to be treated as an equal. If you make him suffer and fear you he will become unable to rule. Make him feel like he’s been given power by a god in exchange of becoming that god’s incarnation on the planet.
What are the best methods to do so?
[Answer]: Here they are.
Nice.
Most of them are easy. Let’s go with the quick one.
First I expend one of my 10 remaining points of Soul Energy to make my voice deep and phantasmagorical while also manipulating shadows, light and creating the illusion of thunder and lightning.
“ANDARLUZ HERCOS OF GERTÊNIA!”
[Andarluz] - Iiiiiiiii!
“BOW TO ME!”
He’s bowing. And he’s peeing as well.
Weak imbecile.
“ANDARLUZ, DO THOU KNOWST WHO AM I?”
[Andarluz] - I..iiii…..!!!!
“ANSWER ME, MORTAL!”
[Andarluz] - A GOD! YOU’RE A GOD!
“THOU ART RIGHT.”
Now I wait a bit.
Just so he doubts his own sanity a little bit…
Now.
“ANDARLUZ HERCOS OF GERTÊNIA!”
He’s only trembling this time.
Nice.
“DO THOU KNOWST WHY I BESTOW UPON THOU MY PRESENCE?!”
[Andarluz] - u… Uh ah… I… iii… bo-don..don’t! pleasepleaseplease...
“ANDARLUZ HERCOS OF GERTÊNIA, RISE THY HEAD AND CONTEMPLATE MY GLORIOUSNESS!”
[Andarluz] - A… ah, aaaeeh…
“ANDARLUZ HERCOS OF GERTÊNIA, RISE THY HEAD!”

He’s obeying now.
Good.
See only obfuscating light bitch. Little bitch. You can’t see my body.
[Andarluz] - Ah, aaah!
“ANDARLUZ HERCOS OF GERTÊNIA, WHAT THOU THINKS OF ME GLORYOUS FORM?!”
[Andarluz] -I… it hurts! My eye, it hurts!
“BOW THY HEAD, ANDARLUZ, FOR I AM THY GOD!”
[Andarluz] - Yes! Master!
“ANDARLUZ HERCOS OF GERTÊNIA, THOU HATH SUFFERET MUCH.”
[Andarluz] - E.. eeeh…
He’s crying.
“LISTEN NOW, ANDARLUZ HERCOS OF GERTÊNIA! FOR YOUR GOD IS MESSIAH, AND MESSIAH LISTENED TO THOU PRAYERS!”
Yeah, keep crying. Nice.
“ANDARLUZ HERCOS OF GERTÊNIA, THOU HATH BEEN BETRAYED BY THY PEOPLE.”
[Andarluz] - Y-yes, master!
“ANDARLUZ HERCOS OF GERTÊNIA, THOU HATH BEEN TORTURED BY THY PEOPLE AND KEPT IN DARKNESS AND MADE TO SUFFER.”
[Andarluz] - Yes! Master!
“ANDARLUZ HERCOS OF GERTÊNIA, I BE THY GOD AND TO THOU I SHALL DELIVER MY BLESSINGS. SACRIFICE THY OWN FLESH FOR ME, ANDARLUZ, AND REPENT. THY SOUL THOU SHALL DELIVER TO ME, AND THOU PRAYINGS THOU SHALL ADDRESS TO ME.”
[Andarluz] - Master, please end my suffering! My flesh is yours! My kingdom! Everything.
“ANDARLUZ HERCOS OF GERTÊNIA, THOU SUFFERING I SHALL NOT END, FOR THOU HATH YET TO TASTE THE SWEETNESS OF THY OWN FUTURE.”
[Andarluz] - Sw.. sweetness mylord?
“THOU SHALL BE GRANTED, ANDARLUZ, A KINGDOM GREATER THAN THE ONE THOU HATH. THOU SHALL BE GRANTED, ANDARLUZ, POWER GREATER THAN THE ONE THOU HATH. THOU SHALL BE GRANTED, ANDARLUZ, BUT THOU MUST REPENT AND DELIVER THYSELF TO ME!”
[Andarluz] - I REPENT! MY MASTER, I REPENT!
“VOW WITH THY SOUL, ANDARLUZ, FOR I AM THE ONE GREATER OF ALL GODS. FOR I AM GOD OF GODS. FOR I AM THE ONE ONLY TRUE GOD. VOW, AND WRITE THY VOW IN BLOOD FER ME!”
And so I disappeared from his vision, keeping myself invisible.
Someone broke the door.
Just in time.
[Guard 1] - WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE?
[Guard 2] - WHO’S HERE?
I made it only as loud enough as to these two idiots to hear it.
Brute force muscle heads think the best thing to do after hearing a voice as loud as thunder is to take out their swords and run into the room they listened it coming from.
Now, to make Andarluz understand his place on our relationship…
I break the first guard’s arm. He drops his sword in the ground.
[Guard 1] - AAAAAAAHHHH!
[Guard 2] - WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? THE FUCK WAS THAT?
“The sword Andarluz. Take it. In name of Messiah, be granted thy sword, be granted .”

[Notice]: You have named a sword. It has become a holy sword and can be granted bonuses accordingly to expenditure of Good Karma Points.
Nice.
I still have 100 of those, so let’s waste a few.
Omniscience, how do I imbue power in a sword? On what can I imbue on them, and for how much?
[Answer]: There are plenty of methods. Costs table updated.
Oh.
It’s surprisingly cheap to give power to stuff eh. If I could use bad karma points to do this, I would be able to arm an entire army in a second.
Let’s expend 100 good karma points to give this sword a bonus for slashing humans.
[Notice]: Holy sword has been granted a standard +7 bonus against humans. This bonus applies to all of the swordsman’s characteristics and abilities.
[Notice]: Your follower has performed and appropriated ritual of sacrifice. Follower Andarluz has killed his countrymen in your name. You and him are both awarded 2 karma points for each death. The sacrifice has awarded you 100 soul energy points total.
Omniscience, what the hell does this mean? Appropriated ritual? Countrymen?
[Answer]: Different gods have different rituals which are appropriated to be done as means of sacrifice. As the King of Evil Gods you’re entitled to receive bad karma points from any kind of evil ritual.
[Answer]: Murder usually awards 1 bad karma point per death. However, killing one’s own countrymen for faith awards 2 bad karma points. Other modifiers can be found on the Extra Karma Gains table.
Nice.
So if I make people do worse kinds of murder I will get more points.
Like this one.
Killing your loved ones. 10 Bad Karma Points.
Raping your own mother or father. 1 Bad Karma Point.
Amazing.
[Andarluz] - My master! I have finished! I have finished the sacrifice!
Not yet.
Oh no, not yet.
I need you to remember what you’re giving in exchange of becoming my subordinate.
“Andarluz, give me a sacrifice in flesh.”
And now I press his arm with my invisible bodies’ hands.
He should get this much.
Oh, there we go.
The resolute face.
The one who’s preparing himself for pain.
And off with his arm!
Wonderful Andarluz! Wonderful!
Now I heal your arm and the rest of your body, so you don’t die…
That takes me another 50 soul energy points, but that much is okay.
And now to finish the job.
Let’s get out of here aaand…
Crush a neck while invisible, crush other, and other, and other…
A magician sees me, no matter, I’m a fucking god, his fireball passes right through me I crush his throat.
Now I kill another guy and another guy…
Need to be faster, Andarluz is approaching behind me!
The trail of dead people in his path is working wonders on his mind.
[Omniscience] confirms it.
He’s seeing himself as someone with a heavenly duty to follow.
Nice.
Now to kill one more guy and another one.
Young kid in the way. Don’t need to kill it.
Oh, the head of the rebels.
Level 75 human general.
Nice.
You’re dea..
Oh.
His neck is too thick.
I can’t crush it with this body.
Damn liquidation-sale body.
No matter.
I use ten soul energy points aand..
There we go.
His lungs are exploded. And his heart. And all of his torax, to be true.
The nicest part?
All of those motherfuckers are going straight to my hell!
HAHAHAHAAHHA!
Oh gods.
Well, not ALL of them.
But most are.
Rapists, murderers, rebels, greedy bastards who didn’t thought of the consequences.
I bet my little wife will do wonders with their souls.
Real wonders.
Oh, Andarluz has come this far.
He’s looking the scenery.
Now he’s taking his sword.
Now he’s stabbing a bunch of the other guys around the room.
Oh, I see.
Those are the ones who raped him.
Maybe I should have left them alive for him to kill?
[Answer]: No.
Why?
[Answer]: Andarluz now see you as a force of nature, killing with a tempest of wrath. Leaving a few people for him to kill would make he think on you as a human-like being, maybe a demon.
Oh.
That’s smart.
But then shouldn’t I have killed that kid earlier?
[Answer]: Yes.
…would it be wise to kill it now?
[Answer]: Yes.
…do I have to? Isn’t there other things I can do?
[Answer]: There are many other things which can be done with the same effect.
Uuuhm.
This one seems nice.
Let’s get near the kid and…
Now it can see me.
Give It a smile.
Summon a minion.
A weak one, but still stronger than a regular human.
Furry, strong, hands for feet.
You can mount it if you want kid.
Now the kid is seen as a chosen one. Nice.
Well, Andarluz is kneeling on the floor now.
And thanking me.
Oh, his prayers are so sweet.
Nice of you Andy.
Now, if you excuse me, I have new apostles to make. So why don’t you play with the kid which is coming to you while mounted in a giant, blood-red pet?
Yeah.
Say hi to it.
I’m out of here.

Searcher
I was just like everyone else. At least, I thought so. Everyone grew up in a mansion with servants, trained to be a debutante, had a traveling archeologist for a father, and gave it all up to do whatever the hell they wanted. Right? Well that’s what I did. I was happy. As happy as a single twenty four year old girl can be living in an apartment selling shit online to pay the bills. Not actual shit, that's gross. No, I bought stuff from garage sales, thrift stores, and junk shops, and resold it in my online store. I was pretty good at finding stuff to peddle to my customers. I made rent every month and didn’t have to strip. I’m a bit too chunky to swing around a pole anyway. Life was great! Until two sexy men broke into my apartment and woke me up from the most erotic dream my sexually depraved mind could come up with. One was between my legs, the other was... Oh well, it was a dream and I didn’t even get to finish it. Those bastards! Now I’m supposed to believe my dead father wasn’t an archeologist, but some kind of paranormal agent working for a secret organization called The Guard. My ability to find items for my customers is just a perk inherited from him. And I’m supposed to use my inherited powers to save the world. All while these hunks of man flesh guard me from other paranormals out to get whatever the hell they think I have. A certain body part is dripping with excitement, literally. But my mind is saying “Hell No!”
