Chapter 4: Drop
Jerry walked down the hall, confused at where he went. One moment, the hall is full of ivory decorated doors, then gold decorated doors, then back to ivory. He soon came to the realization that he was lost in the Royal Palace.
Jerry sighed and took out his phone. It seemed to have been an eternity roaming the Royal Palace halls.
“This place is way too fucking big” Jerry muttered.
He turned on his phone to be greeted with a grim message.
You have 10 minutes and 13 seconds before your drop will arrive.
Jerry broke into a cold sweat. If the drop hits the Royal Palace, how will he explain to the King and every other guest what the drop is. They’ll take him for a madman! Being able to drop boxes full of unknown items. Besides. He didn’t exactly want to explain what to share his drop either.
Just then, a butler came out from the corner down the hall. He looked oddly familiar to Jerry. Until he realized that it was the same butler that had escorted him to his room and to the feast.
“Oh, Jerry! Why are you here? Aren’t you supposed to be at the feast with all the Royal Guests?” The Butler asked.
“Uhh, I wanted to…” Jerry was thinking of a way to weasel his way out of this one since he didn’t want to tell him that a drop will be coming for him and he needed to find it.
“You wanted to?” The Butler asked.
“I wanted to… catch some fresh air! Parties have never really been my thing you see.” Jerry said. He wasn’t lying. Being in these halls for so long made him want to walk through a wall and to his destination.

“I see. Would you like to visit the garden? It’s a nice place to be in when you would like some fresh air.” The Butler said.
‘Well, that’s convenient.’ Jerry thought to himself.
“Please, do take me.”
“As you wish. Please follow me.” The Butler said
The Butler led Jerry down a series of halls. Through ivory decorated doors, gold decorated doors, and down hallways filled with what could be assumed to be butlers and maids.
“Say, I never caught your name.” Jerry said wanting to break the silence.
“Ah, my name is Klien Harren the Third”
“The Third?”
“Yes, the Third. My predecessors were also butlers of the Royal Palace.”
“I see.”
After the conversation, they both soon ended up in the gardens of the Royal Palace. It was fairly large. There was a lot of open space, grass, and was beautiful under the moonlight.
“Here we are. Is there something I can get you while I’m here?” Klein asked.
“Hmm” Jerry thought to himself. He needed Klein away from the drop. So, he thought of something that would take time for him to get.
“I would like some tea. I would like to try an assortment of tea from this world, you see” Jerry said.
“Tea?” Klein said in confusion.
“Really? Just get me some drinks then. I want to try some of the drinks that you have in this world.” Jerry said. He knew the drop was coming soon. He didn’t have time to ask questions.
“R-Right. As you wish” Klien said. He quickly left the garden.
Jerry took out his phone to find out how much time left was until the drop. Until he found a very grim message.
Your drop has been delivered. Please use the tracker to find the package. It has been delivered 3 minutes 5 seconds ago.
“You gotta be kidding me”
