-Definitely not on Arcadia-
Far away from the world of Arcadia in the deepest reaches of space a man was running late.
*HUFF* *HUFF*
While carrying a small handheld device he ran down a long dark hallway. His boots clanked against the metallic surface of the floor as he stumbled his way towards his destination.
He finally reached a set of huge red doors. In Front of these doors stood a pair of men dressed in blood red uniforms with an insignia of a white serpent spiraling down their arms.
“HALT!” one of the guards said in a monotone voice as he held out a spear like weapon.
“State your name and business.”
The smaller man who was taking in deep breaths of air gasped “Private Danson of the Scout corps with the daily report.”
The guard looked at Danson through his tinted helmet and nodded.
“You may pass.”
*BOOM* the doors then opened seemingly on their own. The two guards clad in red slunk into the shadows on either side of the doors as they opened wider revealing a dark room.
The messenger ran into the room and knelt on the floor in a respectful position.
“M-my lord please forgive my lateness, our corps received a coded message only a few minutes before I was dispatched.”
At the top of a long flight of stairs hidden in darkness sat a man. Only his eyes could be clearly seen as the rest of his body was shrouded in shadows. His cruel red eyes pierced Into the messengers soul.
He shivered.
*Clack* *Clack* *Clack*
The sound of boots clacking on the floor sounded and Danson lifted his head to see a woman wearing a white military uniform walking towards him.

She had stormy grey eyes that looked like death itself and a very curvy figure that was only highlighted by the uniform she wore. long black hair fell down over her shoulders and behind her back swaying as she walked.
“Speak Messenger.” Her cold voice made sweat appear on Danson’s forehead.
This woman was Grand General Ophelia Scarlet. One of the most ruthless generals In the Zenvian empire. She was known for wiping out whole races just because they annoyed her. Or killing unlucky messengers who bore bad news...
Danson gulped.
“M-my lady, I didn’t know you had arrived back from your last campaign. H-heheh”
She glared at him piercing his soul with her eyes “Speak.”
The messenger fumbled with the piece of technology in his hands.
“In sector 49389 Grand General Jean has established a government and set up a reliable viceroy. In sector 24459 the bloody conflict between our auxiliary lancers and the enemy tribes men finally ended with Grand General Theodore Funch’s complete victory.”
As Danson read the next the next line in the report his face heated up and he began to sweat profusely.
“I-in sector 15 area 23 our forces were completely decimated forcing Area General France Vilon. To retreat back into Zenvian controlled borders. Vilon has lost his position of area general and Is in the process of being reprimanded by Grand General Carl Neezar.”
The scout looked up nervously at General Ophelia.
“Hmpf How could those primitives defeat a Zenvian army with their level of technology, General Neezar has lost his touch.”
Ophelia turned to the man at the top of the stairs who had been quietly listening to the report the entire time, and bowed.
“My lord allow me to replace that decrepit old man I’m sure that I could wipe out all resistance in little over a month.”

*HAHAHAHA*
A deep booming laugh sounded throughout the room. If one looked long enough they could see a little bit of warmth in the pair of red eyes that shined through the shadows.
“Grand General Scarlet I don’t doubt your abilities, however I trust Neezar as he has been a friend to me for many years. He was only given a single division of Zenvian soldiers to conquer a world with more than 8 Billion sentient life forms, and if im not mistaken the unit that was lost was made entirely out of Auxiliary trash.”
(Sobek: if u don’t know what Auxilia is ---> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auxilia)
Ophelia crossed her arms across her chest and made a pouting expression.
“However, I do have a mission for you. You will take control of the forces in sector 4950 this is an entirely new campaign, the people of 4950 don’t even know of our existence yet. I have allocated 6 divisions of soldier from sector 4949 which is currently under the rule of a Viceroy Ventus.”
Ophelia’s face lit up as she heard these words and she quickly bowed to the man I the throne.
“Thank you my emperor, I won't fail you.”
“I Believe you Ophelia.”
The eyes of the emperor shifted from the general to Danson
“Messenger you have pleased me this news is very interesting. You shall accompany Lady Scarlet to sector 4950 and serve as her personal messenger. Now off with the both of you.”
“Yes my lord.” They said in unison. Ophelia and Danson both bowed, turned and exited the room through the doors that Danson had come from.
*THUD*
The emperor let out a long sigh. The 2 red orbs disappeared into the darkness and then slowly reappeared. The eyes narrowed until they were just red slits and another thin line appeared beneath them.
*Hmhmhmhmh*
A low laugh echoed through the dark throne room
“Soon even those pesky gods won't stand in my way.”
