《Another World and I'm still rich?》Chapter 54. Now or never.

Knowing that this is the end, I smirk.
It's all or nothing, this is it.
After five seconds of silence, I decide to charge in.
"Ice-Wind Magic: [Freezing Breeze]" I try to freeze Ravarrah in place as I run towards him.
He seems unphased by it and simply sends a part of the mass of bodies towards me at a speed I can barely dodge.
I keep running and running, dodging the pieces by inches.
The instant I get within an arms' distance, I try to swing my sword through it.
My sword goes through it like going through jelly but I do no damage.
"Tch... Light Magic: [Blind]" I chant a simple light magic to get away from him as I am too close.
As I jump away I notice something, the place I was before has a small burn scar.
(Wait... Am I stupid or something? God-Tier Dark Magic = Weak to Light Magic! It is the rule! Also he is the dark and evil last boss... Oh well, at least I know something affects him.)
"Light Magic: [Coating of Light]" I envelop myself and my sword with a thick light-magic coating.
I start running again and this time, Ravarrah sends spikes and tentacle-like parts of his body towards me.
"Light Magic: [Barrier]" I invoke a barrier as I charge forward, causing the tentacles to bounce off and be burned.
The tentacles which go around the barrier are stopped by the coating and I cut them to pieces with my sword as I keep on running.
Suddenly, Ravarrah starts laughing and something purple shines from within his right eye, something circular.
(A... Core?)
I think to myself in pain due to the coarse voice and an obnoxious laugh being absoloutely unbearable to my ears.
"Wind Magic: [Tornado]" I surround myself in a tornado which causes Ravarrah's voice to not reach my ears anymore.
Suddenly, the tornado dissapears and I find myself surrounded by darkness, by the mass that is his body.
I quickly look around for an escape and find none.
"This.... Is the End..." Ravarrah says and the mass starts slowly getting closer to me, intent on crushing me to a mess.
(Quickly... What can I do here... A barrier? No... That's one way only... Ah!)
"Light-Fire Magic: [Holy Fire Spiral]; Light Magic: [Barrier]" I surround myself in a spiral of fire and seal off the top with a barrier.
(I need to escape before I burn all of the oxygen... Below! I just gotta go down!)
"Earth Magic: [Pit]; Earth Magic: [Corridor]; Earth Magic: [Pit]" I use three Earth Magic in a row and quickly escape the envelopment.

The instant he notices me outside, he swings a massive arm towards me.
"Light magic: [Barrier]" I summon a barrier in the hopes of stopping it but, after five seconds of pushing me, the arm breaks through the barrier and sends me flying through the roof of the throneroom, into the city.
Ravarrah jumps outside as well, showing it's form to the world.
I quickly regain my posture while in the air and land safely whilst trying to figure out where Ravarrah is going to land until I notice, he is right above me.
I quickly dodge using the only good thing I have, speed.
(He hasn't taken much damage at all. But we are now outside, I have more space to run.)
I quickly try to put some distance between us but Ravarrah tries to stop me via sending tentacles again.
"Light-Summoning Magic: [Stallion]" A stallion of pure light runs towards the tentacles, breaking through them with ease and then impacting the main body, causing a massive burn.
(Summoning magic does more of an impact... Does mixed magic cause more damage if enveloped with light?)
--- A few hours of battle later---
I breathe roughly as part of my armour and clothing just falls off due to damage.
There are several big burn marks on Ravarrah's body but it is clear, I have taken more damage than him.
(I need one big attack. One to stop him. He has also been using his Dark Magic, just without chanting... All of the tentacles were enchanted in dark magic after all. Which means... Let's see if I can at least damage him enough for him to leave... I have no other choice.)
I start to muster up every bit of mana I can from within me and from the environment.
Ravarrah notices this a tad bit too late and fails to respond in time, even with his intellect stat.
(Time for my ace.)
"World-Tier Light-Fire Magic: [Holy Hellfire]" I invoke a magic greater than anything I have ever done and it completely drains my body of all but 1 point of mana.
(I learned World-Tier magic while coming here so you should not know I have it... So enjoy your final moments, Ravarrah.)
The hellfire slams into Ravarrah's body, causing that unbearable voice to shriek so loudly, I am certain my companions heard it.
After a few minutes of burning, the hellfire dissapears as most of the magic within a kilometer radius has been completely spent trying to keep the hellfire burning.
(Please... Please die or leave...)

"I see.... That was your last... chance..." I hear that voice and shudders go down my spine.
(Shit... I'm in no state to fight. I spent all of the mana I had left on that...)
Just as Ravarrah comes close enough for me to touch him, I hear a gong.
"No... No... How are you here..." Ravarrah's voice suddenly turns into one of despair.
"You... Forsook this world... So why are you here!?" The voice goes into a panic and I try to look at why.
I then notice why.
The gong signalled the coming of the beings that probably brought me here: The Gods.
"Child, you have done well weakening him and causing this world to detect his existence, allowing us to come. Had he not been weakened, his secondary ability would have caused us to be blind to his existence on this world.
I thank thee, Child." One of the Goddesses speaks to me as she comes closer.
Ravarrah retreats as fast as possible but a pillar of light impales him.
"Ravarrah! 'Tis be the last world you shall ever see with thy eyes!" Suddenly, a commanding presence descends with the voice.
All the angels and other gods bow down before him, meaning he must be the head god.
I smile bitterly, gods must see the state that I am in but with this...
My job is done.
I collapse as, just before I summoned my hellfire, my HP dropped down close to zero.
--- Meanwhile, the Goddess who was descending towards Colin. ---
"Ara... He collapsed." I say in a calm tone.
"Of course. You, of all of us here, should know what kind of battle this was, Goddess of Time and Space." The Head God speaks to me as I slightly bow and keep descending.
"I do. It's actually a miracle he didn't die. When I looked into his future, he was definetly going to die while summoning that fire. I guess we must thank her for all of this." The Goddess looks towards a woman who has collapsed but is alive.
"Ah, the Seer Athestine Balcan. She truly was an unexpected but welcome surprise. The first person to sucessfully transfer her soul across time and go back into the past. She really did love her times' Colin. Not like she ever admitted it. But well, that's enough idle chatter. We need to go and re-vitalize all the worlds Ravarrah destroyed whilst we were having that banquet. Damn children and their fits." The Head God, surprisingly chatty today, says and leaves.
I wave goodbye and then finally descend next to the collapsed Colin.
"It seems the Summoning Magic I gave to you really helped, huh... Though the Head's Light Magic was what helped you finish it off the most... Frustrating but well, he is the Head." I talk to myself a bit before I look at Colin.
(Hmm... How shall I reward you for helping to send out that alarm... Also before I forget...)
I take out a notebook and write inside of it: "Remind the Head God to take off the 'Don't Detect Superior Beings' system in the Worlds."
(I know that it's highly unlikely that us, the Gods will actually do something but Ravarrah, that entitled brat, did destroy... Five Worlds. But well, It was actually an accident that Ravarrah came here. You were meant to have a life of peace and happiness here, not one where you had to worry about Ravarrah's idiocy that lasted over a thousand years of this planet's existence.)
I finally come up with how I can reward Colin.
I get down on my knees and give him a small kiss on the forehead.
(I know It's not much but it is from a Goddess... I can't directly kiss you after all... But I can do one other thing except give you all your mana and health back. Hehehehe... I hope Rommy won't be mad at me for this...)
I bring the Seer over to Colin and then put Colin in Athy's embrace, making it clear that Athy saved him.
I leave this world to go back to the Banquet of the Gods whilst chuckling a little, also prepeared for the lecture that the Goddess of Love is going to give me.
--- A little bit after, Colin. ---
I slowly open my eyes and look around and then notice somebody embracing me from behind.
When I turn my head, I notice a collapsed woman, Athy, there.
She is holding me in a tight embrace, intent on not letting me go.
I peek at her status bar and notice that her health is down to half.
(You... Saved me didn't you? I felt something was weird when the tentacles suddenly stopped moving and one of them even changed direction.)
I decide to not force myself out of the embrace and instead wait for Athy to wake up.

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.

Tarvish kills the President before he can order the attack. The King flees by truck into the desert, but brings his cyber weapon: Hefty. Fed up, unafraid, and frankly pissed off, Hefty grows some balls and kills everyone in the car, giving the King his just reward, and careening down a mountain in the process.
