《Another World and I'm still rich?》Chapter 51. The Wave

Almost an hour after the scout arrived, the enemy is within our range.
(It truly is a massive horde, one would almost mistake this for a zombie and demon apocalypse if they didn't know.)
I sigh as I silently stare at the enemy marching, under the fire of any ranged weaponry and magic my troops have, without stopping.
(Some of the enemies are getting close enough to touch the wall and, based on the fact that they have absoloutely nothing to scale the walls with, they are going to use their bodies as ladders or depend on the elites I have yet to see.)
"Oi, don't let them pile up underneath the walls. Burn them." I tell the men next to me and they immediatly go to the wall and pour some oil I brought with me and ignite it.
Soon after, almost the entirety of the wall I can see has a burning wall in front of it.
--- Half an hour later ---
"Ah, they are finally here." I say as I see a giant walking towards us with two people on each of it's shoulders and all of them are different from eachother and the rest.
I smile as I look at them from afar.
"Confident. Seems like they must be the ones who took down the other walls. Let us see how they handle this... From the ones sitting... I pick you," I say in a calm tone, "Fire Magic: [Fire Spiral Arrow]."
I send the fire arrow straight at the head of one of them and also control the arrow so it hits.
Half a minute later, a scream so loud it could create a shockwave is heard as one of the four people sitting on the giant is missing a head and the body is burning.
The body grandly drops down infront of the giant who steps on it.
"Hmm... Is that a golem not a giant? I assume it is as it didn't notice stepping on somebody burning." I say as I can't bother to look at the details of the Giant.

I instead stare at the woman who was next to the one who I shot and was also the one who screamed.
"Oh... She's mad. She is really mad. They must still have their emotions attached for her to be mad." I say and then jump straight at the giant and land on the giant's head.
They only notice I dissapeared from the wall, not where I am currently.
"Where is he!? He killed one of us! He must be slain! Surprise attacks on us are just bad in taste! Get him here and now!" The woman keeps shouting.
I try to hold back my laughter but I fail since they really don't understand what a surprise attack is.
They all immediatly look at me, two with surprise and one with only anger.
"I should handle this... Golem? Or is it a Giant? Oh hell I should just handle it before it reaches the wall. It wouldn't be good for it to just step over the wall I want to protect so much, now would it?" I say in a calm tone, trying to intimidate them.
The next second, I put all my strength into my leg and kick downwards, crushing the golem's head through its body into the ground.
The golem falls apart and proves it was just a really humanoid earth golem.
"So it was a golem! I was correct then." I smile and look at the three next to me.
The woman immediatly leaps at me once she gets her balance back but is instantly killed by me grabbing her by the neck and just squeezing a little bit.
The other two, one really bulky man and one tiny, magey-looking, man try to run away from me.
"Can't be having that... Light-Dark Magic: [Moonlit Arch]." The curved blade made out of light with an edge of darkness splits them into four almost instantly.
I look around me and just see massive hordes of regular minions and no elites or commanders or anything. I even use magic to detect anything slightly stronger than a regular soldier but there's nothing in this army.

(Really? Only five elites lead this massive army? Were these grand elites or something... I don't understand...)
I look at one of the statuses of woman and only looked at the titles and class.
"Ah... They were actually some sort of Greater Elites..." I close the status and sigh in dissapointment as I jump back to the wall.
(I should really clear this out.... But I want my troops to have combat experience. A while longer...)
I look across the walls and see my personal companions in certain locations to make sure that if an enemy makes it onto the wall, they won't be on it for long.
The ones who can't really fight are also on the wall but only there for morale and to shout if an enemy reaches the wall.
--- Approximately 10 hours later ---
(Mages are running out of mana and the archers are running out of arrows. The swordsmen were sent down the wall into combat eight hours ago and they are almost out of stamina as well since they couldn't take a break.)
"I guess it's time to end this here." I say as I jump into the fray.
I land straight ontop of a minion and crush it.
"Earth Magic: [Shockwave]" I send out a massive shockwave which either knocks them down or makes them so unstable they can't move.
"Get onto the walls, I'm about to extermiante them." I order my swordsmen to go back up and they do so with all their remaining stamina.
Once I confirmed that every single one of them was on the wall, I started the extermination.
(Where's my button... Oh right I have magic not buttons.)
"Greater Fire Magic: [Lasting Flame], Greater Earth Magic: [Field of Spikes], Greater Wind Magic: [Tornado]." I send out three greater magics in three different directions.
(Two of them are explain themselves but the Fire Magic... The name is confusing but what it does is straight-forward. It jumps from the head of an enemy to another after killing the enemy and duplicating itself. This continues until I say for it to stop or it finds no enemies to feed on.
Leave this alone for a while when you think the world is your enemy and the only way to forcefully stop it is with greater water magics.
The three spells are like three natural disasters, one which instantly killed everything in it's range - Field of Spikes, one which at a moderate rate kills and destroys everything in it's path - Tornado and the one which won't be stopped and only gets faster as time goes on and with more enemies - Lasting Flame.
They also have their own weaknesses that are pretty simple. All except the Lasting Flame... Tornado you just need to stay away from and you are safe. Field of Spikes you just need to jump out of the field and then you can go back in... Lasting Flame however... Will find you and kill you.)
--- An hour later ---
"Extermination complete." I say and jump back onto the wall after killing an uncountable number of minions.
I look at the damage that I've caused and then laugh bitterly a tad bit since all of that was usable farmland and now it's either: spiked, burnt or tornadoed.
(It's all for the experimentation of magic. Yes. All for experimentation.)
"My Emperor. What now? Shall we reinforce the wall further or is this good enough?" One of the nobles who were defending the wall asks me.
"It is good enough. It's time to attack. I think, or at least hope, that we just killed one of their big armies. We just need to create a path to the location where this all started and then let me kill whatever started it." I say to the noble even though I know what started it.
(Seeing how many troops this army had, it must've manifested in this world and not just manipulated something. Which means it's a chance to end it once and for all.)
