《Another World and I'm still rich?》Chapter 35. Hjalionia's Lord.

We ride for two hours but at a slower pace to let the carriage behind us go first.
Once we reach the gates, the Lord, who was in the carriage, comes out and walks towards us.
The guards walk behind him, ready for battle.
He stops a metre or so away from us and suddenly bows.
"I thank you for escorting us here. As a thanks, I invite you into my City and my own private home for dinner. Just to get a bit more acquinted with eachother." The Lord speaks in a calm voice whilst bowing down to me, one knee on the ground.
(So... I was right in the 'Don't Kill the Lord' part. I just helped myself in getting a jump into making my Headquarters in here.)
I jump off my carriage and land infront of him.
"Raise your head, Lord of Hjalionia. I am not even a Noble so there is no need to bow infront of me. And I think I speak for everybody in my group so I say.. We accept your offer." I answer in an equally calm voice.
"Then it is good. Please, follow my carriage." He says to me in a calm voice again.
The Lord gets up and orders the gates to be opened.
I jump back onto the driver's seat as the lord gets in his carriage.
We both go through the gates and I immediatly hear happy shouting and see a few flowers being thrown at the Lord's Carriage but the moment somebody sees mine, the shouting stops.
(Is my carriage ugly or something? I thought I kept it as clean as possible.)
We ride towards the Lord's home for half an hour as we reach the middle of the city.
We go a little bit to the right of the Castle and I see a huge manor.

(That's a big house he has there...)
We stop the carriage right behind theirs once we get to the Manor and everybody gets off.
A few of the Lord's Guards take the horses away from the carriage to the stables.
"Please, follow me to the Lord's Dining Room." One of the maids, who came out of the house, says to me.
I just nod as my group follows her.
We reach the dining room.
"This is... Big..." Viv says as she peeks out from behind me.
(I agree, Viv... I agree.)
We take our seats, as the maids had shown us, and waited patiently.
A few minutes later, The Lord and his family appears and sits down with us.
"I'm sorry for letting you wait. I think we should get introductions out of the way first. I am the Lord Mayor of Hjalionia, Dominic Massey." Dominic says in a calm voice and then looks towards his wife.
"I am Emmaline Massey, Dominic's Wife, mother to two. My son is here but my daughter is currently sick and resting in her bed." Emmaline tells us about herself in the same calm voice as her husband.
I then look towards the son.
"I am Zachariah Massey, First-born!" Zachariah says with pride, beeming with confidence over the fact that he was born first.
(Ooi... Zach... That confidence is going to get you killed one day. I can just imagine it. No, I can actually basically see it happen.)
"We could bring our daughter here if you wish to meet her." Emmaline says in a slightly worried voice.
"Ah, there's no need to bring her here. I can go and visit her and maybe I can even heal her. I think Dominic already knows of my powers." I look Dominic with a smile on my face.

Emmaline looks towards him but he just nods and Emmaline gets up.
"Then, please follow me." Emmaline says as she comes and takes my hand and drags me off.
A few minutes later we reach the room of the Daughter.
"She is in here, please.. Don't scare her too much." Emmaline says to me as she bows.
I just laugh a little as I enter with Emmaline behind me.
The Maid inside immediatly leaves the room.
As I enter, I see a girl with white skin on the bed.
(Has she never been outside?)
I walk up to her and she looks at me.
"Don't worry, I'm just another doctor..." I say to calm her down as I try to find out what's wrong with her.
(Hmm... Can the Status Screen come in handy here?)
I open up her Status Screen's Curses and Illness list.
Ilnesses Curses
Primary Cardiac Myosarcoma
(Terminal Heart Cancer)
None
I get a slight shock as I stare at the Ilnesses.
(That's bad, ain't it? I was thinking it was a common cold or something but Heart Cancer? How am I supposed to cure this?)
I sit down next to her as I start thinking.
(The Light Element could work... It's known as the Healing Element after all... But it's very rare and only a handful of people have it... Oh well...)
"You both, keep this a secret." I say as I smile.
I look towards the girl again.
"Light Magic: Greater Heal, Category: Cancer." I use a spell I just made up on the spot, hoping it would work, and it did.
Light came out of my hands and started going into her chest, near her heart.
I keep this up until the Light dissapears, meaning the spell has worked.
I look at her Illnesses and Curses screen again.
Illnesses Curses None None
"She's healed." I say in a calm voice as Emmaline has already fainted to the ground and the girl looks around her but doesn't say a word.
I grab Emmaline and take her outside the room.
A maid immediatly comes by and takes her from me and another one goes inside the room.
I head back to the Dinner Table and take a seat.
Dominic doesn't even ask where Emmaline is and keeps eating with the rest of my group.
I join them in their feasting.
