《Rise of The Tyrant》12. Golden Golem

Ciel went a little deeper in the forest until Level 14 monsters were around.

In this new area, he found a little oddity among the Golems.

He saw many groups of Golems going to the same area.

Even the silver Golems who usually rarely left their base also left with the other Golems.

'Looks like there are higher grade Golems at their destination,' thought Ciel.

Cases like this usually happen because of that kind of thing.

After a while of observing, he even saw a Golden Golem.

This Golden Golem had golden streaks all over its body, it also carried two large axes that seemed to be made of stone.

Ciel quickly thought of killing this Golem since he was also Level 14.

If he killed it and its Gold Core still gave him triple the Natural Essence, it would mean he could advance to level 5 directly since he practically gained 75 Natural Essence.

Most importantly, any Monster or creature that was at Gold Grade usually had a Skill Core that would grant skills to the person who swallowed it.

"If you fought that Golem alone, would you be able to defeat it?" Ciel asked Dina who was standing beside him.

The woman knitted her brows as she replied, “I specialize in stealth attacks, if it was only me, I might not be able to because my attacks would be continuously repelled by that Golem.”

"That means you can attack if I help distract it?"

"Yeah... I have an attack that can definitely kill that Golem with a few hits."

"Good, we'll use that tactic then.... But before that, the Golem needs to be teleported to another place first!"

Ciel wasn't afraid to fight this Golden Golem, but there were too many other Golems around, he would be in trouble if they all joined forces to attack him and Dina.

Before taking action, Ciel first sent Dina to a deserted area.

It was a valley where there was a lava waterfall, about a kilometer away from where the Golems were.

Leaving Dina there, he returned again, but took a few breaths before acting.

After calming down enough, he teleported until he appeared right above the Golem's head. He hugged its head and teleported elsewhere before the Golem was even surprised.

When he appeared at his next location, the Golem simply looked up to stare at him while he teleported again.

Two teleports, three, four, five, ten.

They then appeared just below the lava waterfall.

Here, the Golem finally swung its ax at him.

This one seems to really be able to survive even under the heat of the lava.

He, on the other hand, left one tiny dot of fire before leaving.

Boom...

A huge explosion occurred after he appeared 100 meters away from the Golem.

Just as he was about to take a breath to stabilize his Mana Energy which was a bit chaotic from using too much Energy while teleporting with the Golem, an ax suddenly shot towards him from within the explosion. It was as fast as lightning and split the air wherever it passed.

Ciel thought he would be cut into pieces if he didn't have the teleportation ability because the ax arrived in front of him in an instant.

Shua...

He appeared behind the ax so that it passed through him without touching him.

Bang...

The ax then hit a large rock until it shattered into ashes.

Right after that, the Golem finally jumped out from within the explosion. There are some parts of its body that are damaged, but overall it is still fine.

With a fierce gaze, it then dashed towards him with one axe.

However, just before it reached him, Dina suddenly appeared from the underground it was walking through.

Her two swords were now enveloped in the wind, making their color slightly greenish.

Whoosh...

She lunged at the Golem, reaching its back in an instant then slashed his two swords at it's back.

An eagle's shadow appeared behind her, it lunged at the Golem's back along with the two swords.

Xiu...

The Golem's back was ripped wide apart...

"Aaooooo..." It screamed loudly while Dina quickly ran away.

Ciel didn't want the Golem to see Dina, so he appeared in front of it.

“Die…” he shouted before slashing his Great Sword into its chest.

Since it was in a rage, it slashed its ax to confront Ciel's sword.

Clang...

Ciel felt his body get electrocuted as their swords collided. The Golem's power made his body shake.

Before being blown away by the shock effect, he teleported again so he could remain in a stable position.

Even so, it still affected him, causing his gaze to become somewhat blurry.
