《Rise of The Tyrant》10. A Slave

"So this is your choice?"
Ciel didn't show any surprise, he remained calm seeing her still resisting.
What she said was true, everyone who came into contact with him would teleport with him.
He could also just teleport them without teleporting his own body, but that was a state where he was the only one holding them. It cannot happen when the other party is tightly holding onto his body.
Basically, it was like throwing a stone, but he couldn't throw it if it was stuck in his hand.
"My name is Dina," ehe answered. "To be honest, I also went through hard times before being able to have the power I have now. But unlike you being distorted, I'm still a human with a conscience."
"A human with a conscience huh." Ciel smiled faintly at his words. "But, it seems your life is still much more important to you."
"Yeah, I'll put my life first, however, it's too early for me to die. Of course, for now, I can live freely while my guild members also survive."
Dina looked around. Even though her guild members had stopped running, they were quite far away now.
Most importantly, whe held Ciel's hand which meant she could continue to be by his side.
"You are quite tenacious like an earthworm, I'm sure you are very good at being a slave," Ciel said, still in a disdainful manner.
Dina seemed to be bothered by the word slave, so her eyes turned cold.
"Brat, you've already lost, don't test my limits."
Maybe just grasping his wrist wasn't enough to make her feel safe, so she pulled his body against her. One of her hands then wrapped tightly around his neck while her two legs wrapped around his waist very tightly as well.
Ciel could clearly feel her breasts pressing against his back.
After that, her other hand took out a small knife with a faint copper glow.

She placed the tip of the knife in front of his chest, ready to pierce his heart.
"Now I will give you two choices, be my slave or die..."
Right after she said that, the area around her and Ciel suddenly changed.
Now they appeared in a narrow space where all around them was only lava. The lava is black. The heat emitted from it made Dina sweat quickly.
Even so, she still didn't panic.
"I know you can do this, but you can't go alone without me," she said.
"I'm sure a little brat like you wouldn't want to die here. Now, quickly put that seal on your forehead, be my slave and follow me. You don't have to worry, I will take good care of you after that."
Ciel glanced back to see her face.
Her desire to have him as her slave was evident from her expression.
Maybe she really would treat him well, but who knows what kind of humiliation she would give him. After all, his face was definitely one of the top among the men. If a woman had him as a slave, even virtuous women would probably do something strange to him as long as they had sexual desires.
Even though he was a normal man, he would still rather die than be a toy.
"Your brain is definitely not functioning properly. When you are dealing with the best talent, you should be aware of how many aces they have," Ciel said.
After that, he controlled the lava into his own body, leaving Dina stunned.
The lava fell first on his upper body so Dina had no other choice but to let go of his neck.
"Do you want to be ashes," she said.
But she quickly realized that Ciel's body seemed to be fused with the lava even though his clothes immediately turned to ashes.

The lava was rapidly moving downwards.
Dina reacted too late so the lava hit her thigh.
Without thinking, she let go of Ciel's body and jumped backwards until she sat down.
This is the bottom of the lava river, the heat of the lava here is many times that of the bottom of the previous lava lake. Even a Level 16 Evolver wouldn't be able to hold out.
"You've lost, die here or become my slave."
The upper half of Ciel's body was exposed while the rest remained submerged in the lava.
The shocked Dina was even more shocked when she saw the countless scars on his body.
"You..."
Ciel threw the slave seal at her and looked at her like an angel of death.
Dina calmed down looking at the slave seal, she picked it up before looking into his eyes.
"I miscalculated your abilities, who would have thought you had so many magical abilities. Teleport, control the fire that is not yours, but it also has no effect on you, I have never heard of anyone with such an ability."
“Since you already know that, you should be proud to be my slave because it won't be long before this whole world belongs to me,” Ciel replied.
"I'm not crazy enough to be proud to be a slave... Now that I truly regret my actions, I should have given up sooner."
"You're wrong, my slave status is higher because only slaves are completely under my control, in other words, I can trust."
"Damn it, but remember, if you order me to do really bad things like massacre my own guild members or commit a despicable crime like you did to us, I'd rather die."
After saying that, she actually stuck the slave seal on her forehead. It has to be done alone and the heart of the person doing it has to accept it for it to work.
Immediately after that the seal emitted a mysterious yellow aura.
"Huh..." Ciel laughed sarcastically.
He bit his finger until it bled and then dropped a drop of blood on Dina's forehead.
Once the blood is absorbed, the seal disappears.
Ciel immediately felt a connection between him and Dina, it was a connection that allowed him to command her and she would die if she disobeyed his orders.
"Call me Your Majesty from now on," he said.
Dina's face twitched, but she couldn't refuse his orders.
She bowed and said, "Your Majesty!"
After that, Ciel stepped forward.
Dina who knew Ciel was not wearing pants quickly turned her gaze back while Ciel took out new clothes to wear.
Actually he didn't care even if Dina saw his body.
She was just a slave whose life was under his control, why would he care what she saw.
Dina noticed that he had put on new clothes, so she looked at him again.
But right after that, she saw Ciel's palm swinging towards her face.
Bang...
A hard slap landed on her cheek.
"You..." She was so stunned that her eyes opened wide.
It hurts, of course. But being slapped like that by a boy who was much easier than her was definitely an insult even though she was now this boy's slave.
Because of the Slave Seal, slavery was something that was almost unavoidable even though the rules still forbade it.
But because too many powerful parties practiced slavery, they ended up turning a blind eye more often while prohibiting the abuse of slaves and demanding that slaves be treated like ordinary workers.
"You're lucky I only slapped you after daring to toy with me this far," Ciel said coldly.

While not my first time writing, this is my first time throwing anything I've written at the tender mercies of the internet. All criticisms welcome. 2.) Just to inform people early: There is no evil corporation looking to control the world with VR, there is no Krueger-esque "if you die in the game, you die for real.", and this isn't a story of some OP harem-loving god of the system. Nothing wrong with those stories this just isn't one. This is a simple story about a guy playing a game and finally 3.) This story is extremely rough, i did very little editing, this is just me gauging interest really. oh, and English is my 1st language, if for some reason you find that important. Note 2) from now on Book 1 will exist in its entirety on Royal Road while Books 2 and 3 (and any others) will be released on Amazon. I want to thank everyone who has been reading and has taken this weird journey with me. I will continue to write in my spare time and will always be thankful to Royal Road for giving me a space to be creative. Thank you to everyone.

BODY&SHADOW
AN ILLUSTRATED NOVEL • UPDATES TUESDAY AND FRIDAY In a time before living memory, the King Dragon of the Void watched the world and realized there was a crack. He realized that humanity was destroying the rock upon which they lived; they leaked life’s code into the churning chaos. At first the change was imperceptible: nanites overtook microorganisms, bacteria, viruses, amoebas. Insects became increasingly inorganic; birds and lizards followed soon after. Even humans were infected by their own advances, cell by cell, till there was not a person left on earth who wasn’t at least part synthetic, the product of a prior generation’s carelessness. The world’s population was ravaged by mechanical viruses with no vaccines; they were mercilessly overtaken by bacteria that knew no death. Soon, most of the planet was empty and only a handful remained who remembered the hedonist realm they came from; only a few were left who remembered what the world looked like when their buildings touched the sky. The King Dragon of the Void watched the rock turn. He watched humans cower as the Old World fell down around them; watched their great monuments crumble into dusty ruins; watched their codes become precious, ancient gem memories forged under the crushing pressure of so many fallen stones. The world has spun many times around the sun since chaos swallowed man whole. It is a simpler time than the one that died out, but the people now are not immune to the folly of the people before. There is old code everywhere: in the water, in the air, in the trees. The heart of man has been replaced by power cores, many of which are hard-coded with preternatural abilities—when they die, an esoteric mountain sect collects their cores and stores them in their hollow mountain home to preserve the sanctity and dignity of human death. They’ve learned to harness artifacts of the old world, gemstones full of codes their nanite infused bodies can parse as spells imbuing their users with great power; they inlay them into their bodies, into their skins, connected to their cores by copper conduit and gold tracers; they dress themselves in tattoos to advertise their prowess; they battle for relics in arenas, fight for them in the open world wherever they are found. The King Dragon of the Void watches the rock turn and wonders: when will this hunger finally make the rock stop spinning? WELCOME TO FANXING CITY … Twenty-five years ago, Fanxing City and the surrounding lands were commanded by the mad King Zao Beiguan. For many years, the King hoarded wealth, artifacts, food; he demanded tribute from a people already taxed to the edges of their existence and expected they be happy with their circumstances. Noncompliance was often punished harshly, bodies displayed proudly on Fanxing’s streets as a warning, from the city gates to the Zao palace’s golden doors. The youths of several prominent clans came together to overthrow the tyrant and made names for themselves as legendary heroes across the land: Tian, Ren, Feng, Gui, Ma, and Zhenxi. Even wanderers from the Luanshi sect descended from Yunji mountain to aid the rebellion. When the dust settled after three years, Tian Yunyong ascended the throne of Fanxing and swore to honour his slain father’s memory, and has maintained Fanxing’s peace with generosity and mercy where fear and cruelty once reigned.
