《Wandering through the stars》Chapter 3: Open status

I was able to raise my body a little this time. After calming down, I looked around to see if there was any connection between my map skill and the area I was in. There were bars, three walls, and a small window. It was definitely a prison. It looks like the perimeter of the skill is around 4-5 meters in each direction, then a circle of around 2 meters? I gave up trying to calculate it because my math knowledge is so shallow. The map seemed to show only what was visible. Earlier, however, I couldn't see the space around me, so how was it displayed... Aargh! Dammit, my head hurts!
My body screamed in pain as I stood up, and when I was up, I had to lean on the wall because suddenly I was dizzy. There was nothing but darkness on the other side of the bars. I assume it was nighttime. I suspect so, judging by how little light I could get from the window. I had to find out where it was. Based on earlier events, I did something bad (I don't remember); I got beaten up (I remember) by my own brother (I don't remember), and now I'm in a prison (where is this?). Hmmm. This was way more messed up than I had imagined. Looking at the state of the room, the sword fight earlier, and the fact that I am royal and got beaten in the arena... Am I going to die?
I was gripped by fear. Having no knowledge at all coupled with the recent events made my body start shaking. Additionally, my body started hurting, but it didn't seem to be from my injuries from the fight. "Badum" "Badum" "Badum" "Badum" Wha...t ?! Why does this keep happening to me? Why? Why? What did I do to deserve such treatment? I didn't bother anyone, I kept my mouth shut, I worked hard...so why? Tell me WHY?!?!?! WHYYYYYYYYYYY?????????

The "SNAP" of a loud sound startled me and I felt liquid flowing and mixing with the snout on my face. Everything went dark after that. I passed out.
.....
I woke up feeling someone kick me in the stomach. I admit I was hungry but did you have to kick me so hard? That hurts. Let me sleep for a little longer. Just give me one more hour, it's not like I am demanding too much.
“My dear brother, wake up!"
As soon as I heard those words, I jumped, but my legs were not strong enough so I fell down. How could I not when I remembered my little brother? However, before my eyes was a little girl, not him. The two of them had the same appearance and voice, so it is likely they were related. But why...
"Splash"
As I lay on the ground, something stale and smelly was thrown over my body. Immediately after smelling it, my stomach contracted and poured everything out. The only thing I had to drink was water, proof of my sudden hunger, which was worse than earlier. I could see the girl and a few soldiers on the other side of the bars laughing like no tomorrow as I coughed my life away. Since it wasn't as bad as I thought, I got used to the smell after a while.
Having no idea who to talk to, I asked those people, "Why are you here?".
"Is it not possible to see my dear brother one last time?" the little girl giggled as if she said something funny.
"Last...time? What do you mean?" I was shaking already, but I'd rather know than not know.
As soon as I said this, the other people started laughing even harder than before.

"My dear brother will go to Heaven today!" she exclaimed. "Or Hell!" The others all laughed louder when they heard this.
"You bitch, do you think it's funny to laugh at somebody like this? You scumbag...Guh!"
Although my mind was in chaos, I knew that I was lashing at someone who was "probably" innocent. At that moment, I saw her pointing at me and felt something in my chest. An impressive chunk of ice was firmly embedded in my chest when I looked. I fell on my back as blood spurted from my mouth. However, since a piece of ice was also on my back, I felt miserable as I felt the ice move in my chest. What should I do? THINK!! I must get this thing out and be treated! I can't breathe! Help!!
As I was losing my mind again, I remembered the strange lines I saw earlier. It was like some sort of system, wasn't it?
"Open..bleah..system"
"What are you saying?" asked someone confused. "Check him and treat him!" ordered the girl.
What the heck, bitch? Are you treating me now? Meanwhile, a few system windows opened in front of me:
*Ding*

"I didn't want that, you crazy...."
I died.

Take Two!
College student majoring in botany has a fateful encounter with truck-kun while trying to get back in shape after realizing that his freshman 15 turned into the sophomore 20, and then the junior 30. After going through a very amusing(to some) hell, he gets the chance to transmigrate into a body of his own design on a magical world. Playing to his strengths, he chose the Plantkin race, and the new name of Sorrel to match. This is a slow-paced, magical, slice-of-life story with a focus on relationships. There will be sex(I'll try to keep the explicit stuff to a minimum, but it will be there), swearing, really bad jokes, and enough food to spoil your diet. There will not be a lot of action, epic quests to save the world, or anything even remotely resembling a big-bad-evil-guy(a few smaller bad guys, sure. But, no BBEG). Note: This is a re-write of my first story "Congratulations, You're Dead!". And, is much more what I wish I had written in the first place. The characters and the world are very similar, with a few key differences. The story may borrow some elements from Congrats, but should be considered as its own work. Reading Congrats first is not needed, or even reccommended, not unless you want to see some really cringey romance in the early chapters.

Project G00
|Nanopunk |Crafting | Detailed Science and experiments | Inner thoughts | Bio-Robots | Evolution | Infodumps | Tell not Show | Insane to Sane | Slow and Detailed Pace | Puddle to Unknown | Artificial Intelligence | Trans-humanism | Bad Jokes | Moving 'Dungeon' Core | Hi! I am G00. I am a project made by some weirdo. Some may refer to me as the wobbly thing in the fridge or the slimy thing in the ceiling. Others might tell you about that sticky thing inside your nose. In the end, they called me the Seed of Life, yet didn’t tell me what I was supposed to become. Furthermore, it just happens that this stage was the most miserable place to reincarnate... Reincarnate as in… What the hell did I become?! (Whispers) You are a puddle. A puddle? (Whispers) Yes. C’mon little guy, say your lines! You’re live right now! Welcome to puddle-springs aka the afterlife of a puddle. CUT! Eh? Why?! No edition or photoshop needed?! We’re short on puddle-staff. The camera is broken, I am broken, and you are broken. Wait! How can a puddle be broken? You are not a puddle, you are frozen yogurt. NOOOOOOOOOO! Additional summary: Spoiler: Spoiler Humanity has finally made the second step towards space. Many developments were taking place at the time this happened. All of them accomplished thanks to nanotechnology. Inventions regarding Artificial Intelligence and nanorobotics created the opportunity, a way to terraform planets by sending nanorobots to space. Their orders? Colonizing and preparing the new worlds before humanity's arrival, aka terraforming. Meet G00, a weird agglomeration of nanomachines. A bit stupid, but it's not because he was like that. The little guy... 'He' is really broken. The hardest start of a story is when language is oddly misunderstood, when you know nothing of the place you just arrived; when your companion is a buggy system, and when you have to repair yourself with whatever trash you can scavenge from your surroundings. All of this while you fight your worst enemy: potatoes? What will you do in an unfamiliar circumstance where nothing is what it seems and where you won't even understand the boring ramblings of a confused main character? Well, patience will... probably have a reward? Additional tags and disclaimers: Read before starting the story: Harem: Not included for the moment, depends on characters added, votes by readers, and things that happen on the go. Magic: Far away chapters maybe... as part of high level or non-understandable things by science. Slice of life: Probably some parts will include it. Disclaimer #1: Crazy amount of content about high-tech info-dumps, slow pace, starts with biology and nanotechnology. Might have some weird jokes and puns. Game bugs are also possible. Disclaimer #2: No puddles were harmed during the making of this story. No character is real, no real puddle was used as part of the cast. Character is stupid at the start on purpose but he will get beta and beta. All written content follows a logical approach no matter how stupid it appears to be, maybe… Because it’s just a raccoon splashing some cotton-candy over a puddle after it was thrown. Yup, a bully raccoon with rabies or so it seems.
