Two weeks have passed since the second part of the exam has finished. Ryu who been stuck in the village of Kumogakure, due to politics put his all into training. Well when he not tracking down food or hanging with Yugito. Since his money he brought was running low, due to the village being slightly more expensive.

While Ryu continued to train the fourth level of his wind element, as Yugito showed him a waterfall last week. His village leader was currently in a meeting with the Raikage to negotiate an alliance between the two villages. Only this time they were meeting outside the village to avoid the same result as a year ago.

Sitting across from one another, Hiruzen Sarutobi the Third Hokage stared at a man half his age. The man had heavily tanned skin and a large mustache as his blonde hair was combed back.

“So, you wish to set up an alliance between the two villages.” The old professor asked as both their escorts scatter around the room preventing spies. “What is going to change this time around.”

“The youngest jinchuriki in my village has told me she is potential bond mate with one of your. Ryu Fumetsu or Ryuu to be exact. She also has mentioned that he trains his fire element to such a degree it even impressed the Nibi.” A mentioned.

“So the alliance would be a training and possible marriage in the future? However, you haven’t told me what you willing to give. From what you told me Ryu will probably be teaching her, but what will he get in return.” Hiruzen asked besides the benefit of resonating chakra to grow. Which will happen to both so it didn’t sweeten the deal.

“From my sources, your village jinchuriki should be getting around four or so. I am willing to allow Yugito to help train him with his bijuu powers.” A said in a rough voice clearly not liking the idea of strengthening another village. He however wants the deal to go through as it could benefit both villages.

Hiruzen sat there stroking his greying goatee thinking about. From the sounds of it, it was fair that the Raikage didn’t know Naruto live with Ryu. Which didn’t really matter much in the grand scheme of things. This deal however benefited both as it could lessen the tension between villages. Which is needed as he also need to rework the alliance between Konohagakure and Sunagakure.

“Alright, that works for me for the time being. We will rework it in five years time to benefit the villages more than a select few. Now onto another part, can you deliver this scroll to Ryu Fumetsu as I think his money should be running out.” Hiruzen said handing over a small storage scroll to the confused Raikage.

“Ever since he was five, he has been getting the short end of the stick as he takes care of our Jinchuriki. Due to barely anyone in the village wanting to take care of the boy, Ryu been his provider. From shelter, food, and medical care, he attempts to handle it all, but money always thin. His first teacher been arrested, citizen poisoning or other assassination attempts dwindle his money further. Now, that old war hawk, causing problems, I imagine Ryu is running low on money again.” Hiruzen explained getting A to understand.

The life of a jinchuriki is never easy nor is providing for one. He is actually more surprised that the eight year old is handling things better than most adults. So his respect for the boy raise considerable.

“Alright, when the exams are finished, our Nibi jinchuuriki will leave with him and his team. A monthly report on their progress is also needed.” Raikage said which Hiruzen agreed to.

“Very well, let's hope this become a fruitful relationship.” The age shinobi said as the two leaders shook hands.

Standing in a training field, Ryu was focusing on the space around him. The fourth level of wind transformation was similar to fire transformation but instead of igniting the air. He is supposed to create a small air shield that shreds everything similar to Hyuuga Hakkeshō Kaiten (Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven). Only instead he wouldn’t be spinning like the Hyuuga clan.

Not far away, two blonde girls were chatting quietly as they were watching him. At first they were wondering what he was doing, but soon diverted to a new topic. They began to wonder what he looks like under the mask and planning on seeing. If they could only think of a way to do so without raising suspicion.

“You do know you have an audience.” Hikari said. “Maybe you should ask them come play.”

“They aren’t hurting anyone, besides it not like they can see through what I am doing. Anyways, it Yugito and I think her friend Samui she told us about.” Ryu replied as the wind picked up around him. The ground where the wind passed through was torn to shreds as thousands if not millions of cuts passed through in a few seconds.

“Better, but similar to fire you need to cut down the time.” Hikari commented. “Now, Samui do you think will grow into a beauty?”

“Does it matter?” Ryu returned confused by her comment.

“Of course, while it doesn’t matter if you one or a hundred lovers. You need to learn to appreciate females beauties. Than you can step onto the holy grounds of super perverts.” Hikari replied making him sweatdrop.

Why on earth would being a super pervert would be holy, much less appreciating the female figure. If that the case most males would become a priest and Jiraiya would be the pope. With his Make Out paradise series, it might turn into a religion. Thinking about it, Ryu wondered if he should join or not.

“Why not read them?” Hikari asked knowing what he is thinking.

“Not much plot from what I gather so I don’t see the point.” Ryu replied. “Also, I don’t actually have much time or money at the current time.”

“Fair point.” Hikari sighed.

For the next couple hours, Ryu focused on completing his wind transformation training. Which he found a nack and completed it as the experience from before help. Now he could call upon fire and ignite an area or wind and raze it to dust. Which in his opinion was pretty cool, on the other hand Hiakri was deep in thought.

Ryu is progressing through the elements training pretty fast. Just how how are his talents and his affinities? A few clones shouldn’t allow him to complete two elements in seven months. She thought. Is it possible he has a kekkei genkai for these two elements or can he iminate one?

“Hikari I finished the wind training, how should I start the earth training.” Ryu asked her breaking her thoughts.

“Hmm, you are going to be doing water instead. I know you choose to do earth, but water more flexible and would fit your current style better.” Hikari said feeling her host was annoyed but refused to show or say it.

Ryu just grabbed a few leaves as all elemental training begin with them. He also popped in three shadow clones to help out and sat in a circle. “What am I supposed to do?”

“Soaking the leaf, but have one of your clones try turning his to dirt or dust.” Hikari said confusing him but did as he was told. One simple doesn’t do elemental training without supervision or taught the basics. Many shinobis and Kunoichis lost their lives that way.

For the rest of the month until the third round of the Chunin exams, Ryu continued his elemental training. When he wasn’t training and sharpening his other skills. Hikari has also taught him a few wind and a single water jutsu. Just as he barely made any progress on his elemental training.
