A few days passed since Ryu learned Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Clone Technique), as well got it down to one handed. He also learned that his current number is ten, before he depleted on chakra and zero usage in training or anything. So limiting it to five, he one clone on the four fire jutsus that Hikari taught, and one on chakra control.

While the clone are hard at work for their job, he is training his body, well her body. He was currently in his female form known as Ryuu training hard. As for why is because it the state she woke up and didn’t bother to change it. If there was a team meeting he would, but Kanzo got an emergency mission and had to leave. So, his team has a few days off.

“Alright dispel the clones and resummon them.” Hikari said after thirty minutes passed.

Mentally nodding, the clones vanished in smoke before he makes a single seal with one hand. Five freshly made clones appeared and went back to their work allowing Ryuu to gain the experience. Two of the four clones managed to remove a hand seal from Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu (Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique) and Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique).

“Amazing, you got two of them to remove a single hand seal already. Your fire affinity must be a tad bit higher than I expected.” Hikari praised.

“You don’t know?” Ryuu asked, placing a hand on her hip.

“Well, I can estimate and you gain a passive affinity to all due to having me sealed in you. So the ones that you would originally would have will be a tad stronger than the ones you didn’t.” Hikari tried to explained. “Just think of it as a passive boost to all the elements.”

Sighing as Ryuu accepted it, but wondered how to explain it off with the chakra paper. She remembers reading it somewhere in the library, but couldn’t get some. It usually only chunin or above due to rarity.

“If you are worried about when you use a chakra paper, we cross the bridge when it appears.” Hikari said not really worried. Once she began to toss out different jutsu with different elements it won’t stay hidden long.

Taking her words for it, Ryuu began to focus solely on taijutsu. In a fluid motion he went from a simply punch to rotation into an elbow strike before finishing with a roundhouse kick. The Taijutsu began taking the form of rotations, similar to Gentle Fist of the Hyuuga clan. Well his female form at least as his male leaned more to mixture of hard fist which Might Guy the teen in green uses and gentle fist.

“Your last two stikes were off and don’t work together. Why don’t you put a over head throw in and use a downward kick instead.” Hikari said. “If you elbow them they are going to bend forward if it land, and you can grab them and use their uneven gravity against them. While it still your body, your female form is always going to be slightly weaker than your male. However you will be more flexible and don’t forget to use gravity to your advantage.”

“Ok, it looks like I will need to use a clone or make a statue to throw. It will be more durable and won’t allow me to use complete strength to complete the exercise.” Ryuu hummed as she has been to a few stores and they don’t have much in the way of taijutsu.

Most of the store usually cover the basics like weight and weapons and possible fuinjutsu. Anything more needs to be custom made or a clansmen makes them. Since neither is an option for him due to money and not having a clan. Ryuu is stuck making it herself or rather a shadow clone.

“Hmm, I would say I would do it for you, but if you attempt to channel my chakra. Either you will be crippled or have every shinobi in the village here in seconds.” Hikari sighed confusing Ryuu.

“How, isn’t your form a giant white wolf with a blue flame radiating off you. So how can you make them?” She asked confused.

“Ah, that for me to know now and you find out later and a bit older.” Hikari pervertedly giggled creeping Ryuu out.

“Ok,” Ryuu shivered a bit wondering what is going to happen when she is older.

Ending the conversation there, Ryu went back to training and changing it up like Hikari suggested. With a bit of tweaking and changing up the forms a bit. The moves became more fluid in uses as she shadow boxed invisible enemies.

After a few hours passed, Ryuu finished up her training due to lack of chakra and exhaustion. The memories of the clones flooding back did a number on her mental energy. So following Hikari advice, she currently walking around the village.

“...And stay out and don’t come back.”

Walking around the corner she stumbled upon Naruto being tossed out of the store. The angry shopkeeper throwing a fox masked at his feet. Tears welling up in his eyes, Naruto picked up the masked and was about to run for it.

“Naruto, where are you going?” Ryuu called out.

“Ryuu,” Naruto looked over and jumped around her waist.

“Come on, we are going fishing.” Ryuu said leading him away.

“Why?” a curious Naruto asked.

“Of course to train our skills to survive in the wild.” Ryuu smiled. Not because you ate through our money for the next few days. Totally not the real reason.

Inside the Hokage Office, Hiruzen Sarutobi was currently checking up on Naruto. The scene where the masked shop just happened made him frown. However, he couldn’t really do much about it. Though when Ryuu appeared, he smiled a bit until he saw them going fishing.

Normally, he would just pass it off, but anytime he checked up on them, Ryuu is usually collecting their meal from the forest. It has been slowly increasing once she was taken off the allowance since she became genin. There was also a tiny bit of him calling for an investigation.

“Inu, I want you to look into Ryu/Ryuu Fumetsu team. More Kanzo Femi than the others.” He commanded as he felt a tiny bit of chakra usaged.

Nearly two hours later, a teen wearing a dog mask and gravity defying silver hair appeared. In his hands was a file which he handed over.

“Report.” The aged Hokage asked as he looked over the file. It was a financial and mission’s that team fifteen did. He began to frown as he instantly seen a pattern with all the statements.

“Hai, it appears that according to a few rumors and witnesses alongside some facts I managed to find. Kanzo isn’t training his team and taking the lowest paying mission available. On top of that he seems to be taking a percentage from his team earnings.” Inu reported.

“There was also an incident a few days ago of Kanzo disrespecting Ryu dream. From what I gathered, Ryu wants to master all the basics elements and create his own techniques in the future.” Inu finished his report receiving a hum in return.

“Oh, not many attempt to master all the elements. I remember doing a lot of hard work and training to master. As for Kanzo since he doesn’t want to train his team, then he doesn’t need to be a jonin. From here on Kanzo is demoted to Chunin and Inu I am placing you in charge of the team until a new Jonin is selected.” Hiruzen said.

“Umm, Hokage-sama-”

“Don’t worry it only for a month maximum unless you take a liking to them. You will not be needing your masked for this one. As for what to teach them, go chakra control, taijutsu and help them with ninjutsu if they ask. From my understanding they have excellent teamwork due to being friends and hard workers.” The Third said making the teen nod in acceptance.

“You also need to message them to meet at the training field fifteen tomorrow. Don’t be late as they don’t know you or the changes yet.” Hiruzen said as Inu nodded before vanishing with leaves behind.

Hopefully this breaks you out of you latest funk. Hiruzen mentally chuckled as he began doing paperwork again. Even dividing up the roles better, it still the bane of all Kages.

The next morning Ryu arrived at the training grounds fifteen a few minutes early to see Izumi and Hana sparring. Well sparring wasn’t the word he would choose as they weren’t fighting at their normal speed. They moved barely faster than a snail.

“So how long have they been going at it?” Ryu asked the Three Haimaru Brothers.

“Yip!” was his reply which got him nodding.

“That long huh. So have you three been training hard?”

“Yip! Yip!” the three nodded as they watched the two finish up.

“Hey Ryu,” Hana greeted.

“Do you have any idea why we been called here.” Izumi asked.

“I would think that our instructor back, but I doubt it. An anbu wouldn’t have delivered the message nor would there be a pervert in the tree.” Ryu said pointing to a teen around seventeen reading Icha Icha.

With the three genin looking at him, the teen hopped out of the tree to stand above them. His gravity silver hair and seventy five percent of his face covered. He stood in front of them with the normal jonin uniform.

“Nice mask.” Ryu said as he wore a similar one.

“Yours too.” The teen nodded.

“If we change around Ryu hair and pulled his headband over his eye. They could almost look like a pair of clones.” Izumi said.

Hana studied both of them and could see it for the most part. While Ryu hair is more white with a blue tint, the teen has more of a silver color. However, the main differences between them beside their clothing for the most part was the teen covering one of his eyes.

Ryu looked up at the teen who looked back. “Nah,” they answered.

“Alright, the Hokage assigned me to be your new sensei until a new one can be assigned. Kanzo has been resigned and demoted due to some issues.” The teen said making them shocked.

“I am Kakashi Hatake, and I got the basic run down on your guys ability.” The silver haired teen said not looking up from his book.

“What are we doing first? Also are you the eternal rival of the teen in green?” Ryu asked watching the man shiver.

As if pretending not to hear that, Kakashi shrugged. “I been suggested to help with taijutsu, ninjutsu and chakra control.”

“If it tree climbing and water walking, our clans already taught us.” Hana said as she pointed to herself and Izumi.

“I’m mostly self taught on that front.” Ryu answered which is true. Hikari never really told him besides it possible and what he was supposed to do. “Also, I did waterfall climbing and been working on sand sorting.”

“Well, I guess that covers that portion than. Let's move onto Taijutsu than.” Kakashi said.

“Are we going to spar than?” Hana asked.

“I suppose we can. However let warm up first so ten laps around the field and some stretches first.” Kakashi said making them nod as they ran off doing it.

After ten minutes of doing the warm up, the three stood back in line without looking like they broke a sweat. If anything they looked like they took a stroll in the park instead of doing a warm up.

“Alright, who wants to go first.” Kakashi asked.

Stepping forward Ryu appeared in front of Kakashi as Hana and Izumi gave them some space. Taking up his pose, Ryu looked at their newest sensei who wasn’t taking this seriously. Mentally shrugging at the sight, he gathered a tiny bit of chakra in his feet.

“You can begin at-”

Kakashi never finished as Ryu vanished in a burst of speed. Well at least to those who aren’t used to that speed. Holding out his book, he attempted to block the punch but watched as his book was destroyed. He never guessed that Ryu put a bit of chakra behind his punches increasing the destructiveness.

“My precious,” Kakashi cried as he unleashed killing intent.

Mentally thanking Hakari who unleashed a massive amount from time to time. Ryu didn’t freeze up like Hana and Inzumi, as the last time they felt it was during the nine tails attack.

Throwing a punch at Kakashi stomach, Ryu felt his arm being grabbed. So he pulled himself into the grab sending an elbow toward his chest. Not expecting it, Kakashi tilted forward and found himself facing the sky with a heel coming towards his neck.

“Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Replacement).”

Quickly replaced by a log, the silver haired teen appeared a few feet away behind Ryu. Folding his hands with two fingers pointing towards the sky. He crouched close to the ground and launched forward.

“Konohagakure Hiden Secret Taijutsu Technique: One Thousand Years of Death,”

Ryu who was still in the air, quickly twisted his body and gather chakra into his fist. Barely dodging the technique which he found interesting. Ryu slams his chakra powered fist into the ground breaking apart the ground a couple meters around him.

“Woah,” Hana said as Izumi nodded dumbly.

Pushing off the ground with his hand, Ryu spun as he back up away from the hole he made. Flashing through three hand seal, he jumped back where a pair of hands shot of the ground.

“Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu(Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique),”

A fire came into existent before breaking into three fireballs which he tossed some shuriken into. Kakashi quickly switched with a log, forcing the log to take the hit.

“They are really going at it.” Izumi said.

“Yeah. I didn’t think Ryu was that strong yet.” Hana said looking at the hole.

“He using chakra to do that, but he needs strength to do it also. He is if you think about it is a training manic.” Izumi with a sagely nod as both attempted his workout. Both were sore for a few days.

“And this is the end.” Kakashi said as he appeared behind Ryu.

“Are you sure.” Ryu smiled as popped in an explosion.

“Ryu!”

“What.” He asked appearing near Hana and Izumi.

“Huh?” was their only response as Kakashi looked at him.

“How you do that?” Kakashi asked.

“I placed a paper bomb under my illusion as well lined it up with a tree. So it gave the illusion I was there.” Ryu shrugged.

“Impressive.” Kakashi praised.

For Hana and Izumi while not as destructive due to different fighting style. They managed to earn a complement from Kakashi mainly to their age than actually technique. The three of them were as strong as the graduation class, and they were four or five years older.

“Alright I got a feel for your guys ability. We will work on taijutsu and chakra control. Than go take a few missions.” Kakashi said.

“Hai.”
