"Huh? Oh, I feel asleep" I say to myself
I looked towards Red, he was staring at the screen watching the terrain under us while controlling
"The marker as on the hologram has been moving," Red says
"What?" I replied tiredly
"The marker moved, I had to manually control the phantom towards the actual location"
"So the marker on the hologram is the wraith itself, not just the testing location?" I ask
"Most likely. Get ready were close, the humans moved far from the previous position, but they stopped now, I'm assuming their sleeping, but the spartan is most likely awake"
"Alright, you got a plan beside one go and one stays?"
"Yes, you shoot I shoot then we interrogate"
"...good plan?" I say, "I guess the spartan is the primary target, after that the humans are an easy game."
I look at the screen as we go over a dune and I spot a crashed vehicle far away, a pelican. Along with the wraith.
"I been driving low to prevent getting spotted, seems like they been driving ultra-low," Red said
…
"Hehe… funny?"
We land behind the dune and I start marking a path towards the spartan where I can go without getting spotted.
"Hey, help me up here so I can get an advantage point," Red said
I head over to the phantom's side and boost Red up.
"Thanks, you get next to the spartan, when I shoot you strike, if he lives, focus on him and I'll get the humans and leave one left for you to handle," Red says, "and make sure they stay away from the wraith."
"Alright"
With that, I start sneaking towards the crash site, staying low and behind the dunes to prevent being spotted.
"Six marines, 4 male, 2 female, 1 female spartan" Red says over a radio
"Thanks?" I replied
"I just wanted to sound cool"
"Oh, I understand, and it was slightly cool"
After a few minutes, I get as close as I can without being spotted or heard. I look towards the phantom and see a slight glint, I nod my head and it disappears, then the beam rifle fires, hitting the spartan's waist, popping her shield.

"Shit!" The spartan yells.
"What? Get up! The spartan has been shot!" One of the humans said after getting up.
I rush towards the spartan with my sword and swing it towards the spartan horizontally, the spartan sees it and dodges it by ducking.
"It's a zealot! Get the wraith!" The spartan yell toward the humans
"The humans are going for the wraith, kill them, leave one injured," I say on the radio in Sangheili to prevent them from knowing what I said.
The spartan grabs a pistol on their waist and shoots at my chest damaging my shield. I use my other hand and punch the spartans stomach knocking them back.
I hear three shots and look towards the humans, three were dead, and the others were taking cover sneaking toward the wraith.
"Overheated" Red says over the radio.
"They're sneaking around, frag close," I say in Sangheili while slicing diagonally at the spartan. The spartan thrusters back and then sprint at me.
I hear another shot and an explosion, along with screams.
"Two dead, one injured, lucky Me he didn't die"
The spartan grabs my arm and uses my momentum to throw me to the side while shooting me with her other hand. I turn while slicing backward, the spartan ducks again but this time she drops her gun and grabs a knife on her chest, and stabs at my neck, I use my open hand to grab her arm before it reaches me.
"If it were so easy there wouldn't be any zealots," I say In English towards the spartan.
I swing my sword to cut the spartans arm off, but before I do the spartans angle her arm, and a device on her wrist fires something hook-like with a string on it at my face. I quickly let go and jump back before it, or my sword connects.
"Oh, you haven't seen this before? Well, it's completely harmless" the spartan says in a mocking tone
"Giving out your secrets Is a path towards defeat," I tell the spartan.
The spartan quickly reaches towards the pistol on the ground, but I grab the plasma pistol on my waist and overcharge I then shoot at the gun and she pulls her hand back.

I put the plasma pistol back on my waist and rushed the spartan with my sword.
"Enough playing around, I'll be ending this now"
I slice horizontally again at the spartan's neck, and the spartan ducks.
"Someone's a bit cocky-"
I quickly grab the spartan's head before she could finish her sentence and slam her against the ground, I repeatedly do this over and over as I tighten my grip. The spartan grabs my hand and arm with both of her hands trying to pry my hand off but she can't, eventually, she gets exhausted and her grip weakens, I move my hand and leave her up by her head so I can stare at her face.
Her helmet visor was slightly cracked.
"If this was steal or stone you may have been dead by now," I tell the spartan
"If I'd known you… you were just messing around… I wouldn't have thought other spartans were exaggerating about the strength of a zealot" the spartan says.
"If you were the only spartan I fought, I would think all spartans were pathetic" I replied
The spartan chuckles, then I activate my sword pointed at her stomach cutting through her flesh. I drop the spartan as she slowly dies from the injury.
I look up to see the last human in the wraith aimed at me.
"Die! You squid-faced fuck!" The human yelled.
I prepare myself to get shot, though, not that It would do anything that lets me live. But I hear the show of an overcharged plasma pistol then the sound of the wraith deactivating.
"That was close," Red said holding the last human by the back on the emp'ed wraith
Red throws the human onto the ground and jumps off the wraith pinning him down with his foot.
"That looked like an easy fight when you were trying," Red said.
"No, she was definitely a new spartan, with new equipment. Any veteran spartan wouldn't have used the same dodging movement three times in a row" I reply
"Even so, you would still defeat them," Red said.
"Maybe, but there's rarely ever one alone," I say, "though I am still tired from that"
The last human tries to get up but Red puts more weight on the human. I crouch down in front of the human with my sword pointed at their neck while Red holds up his head revealing his neck.
"Why are you here human?" I ask the human, but he stays silent.
I look up towards Red and nod at him, he then breaks the human's left arm, and the human screams.
"Why are you here?" I ask strictly.
But the human doesn't speak, so I move the sword close to his neck, and try to move his head back.
"Cut it off," I tell Red in English
"Alright"
"What? No! N-" the human says before Red activates his sword and slices the human's right arm off.
The human yells as his arm falls off and his blood boils.
"You tell us why your here or we'll either cut another arm off or leave you to die, and you won't bleed out because of the heat of the blade," I say
"And if I tell you?" The human says while gritting his teeth
"We'll kill you quickly and end your suffering"
"We were somehow emp'ed while flying scanning the area," he says
"Why are you in sanghelios?" Red says while slamming the human's head against the ground.
"I wasn't told, just that we need to make camp here until reinforcements-" the human was cut off by a blade slicing through his neck, loping off his head.
"That's all we need to know, we have to report there may be further humans coming to sanghelios" Red says deactivating his sword.
"Alright, let's bring the spartan, some pay a lot for the armor of a spartan, and to eat the flesh of a 'demon'," I say while walking towards the dead spartan grabbing her arm.
"I'll use the phantom to carry the wraith," Red says
"Should we take the salvage? Though it would be another trip to carry the pelican." Red asked
I nod, "drive the phantom closer"
We put everything that could fit in the back of the phantom only leaving the human corpses and the pelican, and carry the wraith using the gravity carrier under the phantom.
