《Halo: sangheili Walloh's adventure》Ch 1: continuing the work.

Years after the fall of reach, a Sangheili fell into debt, the reason being due to the number of ghosts that he has caused to get stolen. But when he found out that the prophets of regret betrayed them despite their hard work to defend them, he was furious, then he found out a portion of the covenant ran to join the humans because of this, and a portion of those who ran wanted to continue following the arbiter. Seeing this as an opportunity to run from his debt, he decided to find a way to contact the humans and bribe them with knowledge to try to get them to rescue him, but he feared that being such a high-ranking elite, a zealot field marshal, would cause the humans to distrust him as zealots are normally extremely loyal to the covenant, but he would just have to find out.
“One… two… three… that’s not enough.” The zealot field marshal said, counting energy canisters.
“To think that a once honorable Sangheili would side with the humans just to escape a debt.” Another elite said, clad in red and green colored armor.
“Says the field master… you know, I was ready to kill you if you disagreed to help me out.”
“Although we completed many firefights together?” The red elite stated, slightly offended.
“I do have to thank you though, for preparing a phantom in such a short amount of time, it’s beyond my capabilities.” The yellow-clad elite said, observing the cockpit of the phantom.
“Well Wolloh, it’s a perk of being a field master, though if we were caught we would be executed. The red elite slides a deactivated sword across his neck.
“How long until we can get more energy canisters? This won’t be enough for a trip to any nearby planets.” Wolloh said, storing the canisters in weapon storage on the side of the phantom wall.

“Since we only need close to five… about a day before I can take out more canisters without looking suspicious.”
“That’s good enough.”
The plan was to get enough energy canisters to be able to fly a banshee into a junkyard where the covenant through junk they got from humans and swiftly search for radio and attempt to upgrade it to be able to contact farther to reach the humans.
“Rekan, For now, head towards a war station, I was assigned a head-hunting mission to help with my debt,” Wolloh said while pointing at a building on a holographic map.
“Right, you were known for being assigned assassinations. If you're lucky, the humans won’t know about you and your murmurous spartan killings” Rekan stated. If the humans knew Wollah had well over 20 spartan kills, he would be assassinated.
“Perhaps the humans should stop producing such weak warriors, didn’t they already have an efficient way to produce demons?” Wolloh can wrap his head around the thought process of humans.
“I believe it was due to ethical and moral concerns. Though it is impressive that they are able to produce these new warriors at such a rate using normal humans.” Wolloh can help but agree with Rekan's statement.
Rekan drops Wolloh off near a war station, after they say their farewells Rekan flies off and Wolloh enters the building and approaches an elite who was talking with a grunt.
“I’m here for assassination mission 34” Wolloh tells the elite.
“Right, you’ll be leading a stealth squad to a sacred ring as a human fireteam has been reported to be killing assets that were put on the ring.” The elite explains what’s going on and it shocks Wolloh.
“Humans? On a ring? How have we not spotted them?”
“We have, they were traveling in a human pelican and we shot them down, killing them, or that’s what we thought.” The elite explained. “We already have a phantom ready with the others waiting. you’ll fly and dock in a corvette orbiting a supercarrier that’s guarding the ring. You will be ordered from there.”

“I understand.” Wolloh leaves the building and heads towards a phantom he saw while flying in with Rekan. Wolloh reaches the phantom and three elites in black stealth armor approach him.
“You're our current leader?” One of the elites asked, and Wolloh nodded his head. “Right, I believe we should do just fine then.”
With their greetings aside, they follow Wolloh into the phantom. Wolloh sits in the pilot while the other three copilots, the phantom anti-gravity drives activate and start flying up before shooting straight up, ready to escape the atmosphere of the planet.
…
Most of the flight was silent, not like there was much to talk about while traveling through the vacuum of space right after meeting for the first time. There was some banter, specifically about the brutes or previous fights they had been in, they happily talked about the fear of the humans before they killed them, but that was all.
Once they did reach the corvette they were relieved to have finally escaped the silence as they hopped off the phantom to be greeted by a general, his bright gold-colored armor causing him to stand out, but also showing his superiority… not in battle, but command.
“Assassin squad 34 I presume?” The general guess.
“Yes, we are ready for our orders,” Wolloh said respectfully.
“I hope you three are ready, I just received news about their numbers.” the general tells them.”3 Spartans survived the crash, along with a single marine. I’d say easy pickings for a field marshal, so this better be quick.”
The four elites nod before the general continues.
“For now, rest up. You’ll leave in roughly nine hours, we have prepared rations and some weapon crates that you can choose from.” He said, pointing towards a room before walking off. The four elites enter the room and look around, there were all types of covenant, and even human weapons, which they ignored.
Wolloh grabs his favorite weapon, which was a needler, before grabbing a more silent weapon, a needle rifle. Of course he had his sword which he carried around all the time. He then grabs an active camo unit before attaching it to his armor; the stealth elites already had a camo unit built into their armor, which greatly increases quality.
He then quickly grabbed a dried stick of colo before putting it in a pouch under his armor and quickly left the room. He walks over towards the energy shield which is the only thing preventing him from certain death, and watches the sacred ring spin around.
This could be the perfect opportunity, well… it depends if the humans can communicate with other humans to get help, Wolloh thought to himself before tearing the colo stick in half before swallowing a piece whole.
[Wolloh stands at 8'3 and weighs 343 kilos. While his helmet hides it well, he has a long scar starting from his left top mandible to under his eye ending at the bottom of his neck, some think this is a battle scar, but it's instead from a piece of shrapnel after accidentally exploding a ghost, if he was any closer or didn't have his armor shield active he would have been mortality wounded. This gave him the habit of always having his helmet and shields on.]

But when his squad is tasked with conducting a routine patrol deep in enemy territory, everything goes to nine kinds of hell, and he quickly sees his chances at survival slipping away. When the radio operators start to pick up some funky, dirty ol’ blues all the way out in the backcountry, it’s a nice change of pace. At least until the men in Yancy’s squad start losing their minds, turning on each other with murderous intent as the music works its deadly power within them. Convinced it’s some kind of new psychological warfare initiative, the squad leader forces the men to push deeper and deeper into the Vietnamese jungle, obsessed with locating the music’s source. What they find, however, isn’t some new technology, but an ancient spirit awoken by the terrible war. Even worse, the music is changing Yancy too, awakening something buried inside of him. Only one thing is certain, nothing is ever going to be the same.See how it all began … *** PRAISE FOR SIREN SONG:Hunter's writing is as low-down, gritty, and insidious as the blues Yancy Lazarus loves.
