Chapter 28- Enforcers

I arrive in the Enforcer compound which was situated just outside of the academy. This is probably to give us some privacy to train because Enforcers are quite popular within the school.

“Not too bad.” I said while looking at the house from a far. It’s a two story house with a nice balcony up front. It seems to be made of expensive oak wood normally found in the Elven forest.

In front of the house were a group of people, three boys and two girls.

“I guess those guys are Enforcers.” I mused calmly. Still walking at the exact same pace. One of the girls tapher feet on the ground impatiently, her face formed into a scowl.

I notice that she have ears on top of her head; fox ears to be exact. She has red hair, slightly taller than me and would be very cute if she smiles.

“A beast kin.” I observe calmly, smile playing on my lips.

One of the guys were huge and muscly while the other one is thin and wiry,the last boy is wearing a magicians robe and sporting a glasses with his blonde hair.

The last girl with the blue hair, is giving an aura of a leader must be the captain of the Enforcers.

She is tall, beautiful and very slender. She wears a white apparel with black sleeves on her arms.

“I guess. They’re here to give me a formal greeting.” I smirked.

“Took your time to get here!” scowled the beast girl.

“Elbia!” warned the girl with the blue hair. She then turned to look at me and slightly smiled.

“Sorry about that! She always had a bit of a temper.” She apologise then continued.

“We were informed by the head master about the sixth member of the group just an hour ago. We were quite shock, a new first year student got in? So you could imagine our surprise and shock!” giggled the blue haired girl.

“I’m sorry. I guess I haven’t introduce myself yet. My name’s Euphie, the captain of the team.”

“Vectre.” I said simply.

“Captain. This guy looks pretty weak to me.” Said the muscly guy.

“Hmp! I bet he got in because of his parents. I heard he was the son of the Crimson Witch and the general Ryouma!” scoffed Elbia.

“Now now. That can’t be true, I’m sure he’s pretty strong if he was scouted this early by the head master.” Interjected Euphie.

“I’m pretty surprise you let you’re dog bark like that. Shouldn’t you put her on leash somewhere?” I said innocently while smiling at Elbia.

“GRRR!! WHY YOU!” Elbia screamed angrily and was about to attack me, bur Euphie stop her.

“You really should discipline your pet a little better. She might get herself in trouble for messing with the people she ought to not mess with.” I lightly warned.

“Grr!! If you somehow manage to beat me tomorrow! I’ll gladly become your pet. I pledged in the name of the Fox tribe” Laughed Elbia mockingly after she finally calm down thanks to Euphie.

“You better keep your word pet.” I replied.

“What a weak looking guy like you? You’ll be lucky if you can even get a hit” laughed the muscly guy.

I simply smirked and dashed towards him. Willing my nano machines to boost my strength a little bit, I lightly flicked his forehead and send him flying to the side. Crashing to the nearby tree.

“Trash shouldn’t talk!” I said calmly.

All of the Enforcers, were shock and wide eyes. Mouth gaping wide.

“Hmp! You just got him by surprise. Tomorrow you’re dead meat” Said Elbia.

“I’m really sorry about this! I didn’t know this would happen.” Euphie said apologetically.

“Don’t act you didn’t know this would happen. You planned this whole thing. I guess to let me know my place. Am I right?” I said accusingly while smiling.

“No. I’m just here to see what our sixth member is like.” Answered the Euphie.

 “It doesn’t matter. You’re all trash anyway.” I said irritated because of their annoying ambush. Most of them arrogant bastards since they’ve been branded as genius by the school.

Most of them narrowed their eyes and frowned. “Enjoy your day while you still can Vectre.” Said Elbia.

And with that all four of them left except for Euphie.

She laugh and touch my face seductively. “You peak my interest Vectre Azure. I hope you will be able to win and face me tomorrow." She gives me a quick peck on the cheek then left.

I stood there frozen in shock, face completely tinted red.

I’m now inside my house in a pretty good mood. My blood was boiling in excitement and I couldn’t wait for tomorrow.

“Mia!” I called out, summoning her.

“Master!” Mia shouted excitedly as she ran and hug me tightly.

I stroke her head fondly. And she lightly purr in contentment.

“Mia! Can you cook us dinner? It’s been a long day and I’m hungry.” I said.

“Right away master.” Replied Mia as she ran towards the kitchen.

I went to my room which is on the second floor near the stairs. Inside is quite simple. A wardrobe to keep your clothes and uniform in, a full length mirror and a King size bed.

I summon a small nano machine out of my body. I ordered to replicated and make me some clothes for the fight tomorrow.

“Welcome to all the new students at the Academy. Today is a special day, since not only will we welcome new students but also the new Sixth member of the Enforcer. Now as you all know, there haven’t been a new member added to the team in two years, as no one met the requirements.

Let’s greet the sixth Enforcer. Vectre Azure!!” Brooks announced excitedly as he introduced me to all the students sitting on the stadium.

The whole place is pack with students of different genders, age and race.

I jump up on the stage. This is where I am going to prove my strength in order for my authority to be valid.

“As you all know. Vetcre isn’t a full member yet, until he shows his worth to the students of the Academy! So he will be facing one of the Enforcers and if he defeats his opponent, another Enforcer will battles with him. He will be eligible for breaks after each battle if he ask for it. The rules are simple, if anyone lands outside of the ring or admits defeat he’s lost the match.” Said Brooks while explaining what’s going to happen.

Just outside of the ring, I notice a transparent barrier. “Must be to protect the audience.” I thought to myself.

“So If I beat the captain? Does that mean I take her place?” I ask out loud. Hearing my question, most of the students laugh at me mockingly.

Brooks was taken surprise by question and just stood there with his eyes wide but eventually he recovered and answered with yes.

“Laugh while you can. I don’t even need to lift a finger to take care of this clowns.
