《HERO CHRONICLES:》BK2; Chapter 55: [ Hein's Fury ]

That stance could be said to be arrogance close to egocentricity. Facing them like they are only ants trying to crawl in the ground, the youth had no trace of fear within him.
Hell, Aqua and Leviana glared at him and then in an instant shot their attacks.
Leviana fired countless [Wind arrows], Hell extended her shadows, formed it into a blade and slashed it towards Hades while Aqua shot dozens of [Water Balls] and [Water Blades].
Hades, who was in a daze, blinked his eyes repeated as he looked surprised by their sudden display of abilities.
However, in the next instant, a cruel grin had spread across his lips as he took the battle on with only his bare hand.
“Too weak and too slow!”
Hades shouted while knocking away the [Wind Arrows] with the back of his right fist and using the subsequent momentum to take a swing at the [Water Balls] and [Water Blades], deflecting them away.
Hell used that opening to attack him with her shadows but still it was a miss, as Hades casually avoided it by sidestepping in the air.
“How naive~”
Leviana gritted her teeth as she fired another batch of [Wind Arrows] but this time she used spirit magic to unleash a strong attack by using spirits.
However, it was still for nothing as Hades waved his right hand and countless ghosts and shades appeared, swallowing her attack.
Leviana and the other people who watched her battle were starting to understand the difference between their power levels.
Even if they continued this attack for a whole day, they would still be unable to defeat this man. And worst, he was just playing with them by not attacking them and let them attack all they want.
“You bastard!!!”
She finally realized that she should not have any reservations then.
Gritting her teeth, Leviana focused her magic with spirit power and created a huge ball of energy.
Showing something that can defeat all enemies, the power that can illuminate the dead world.
As an elf royalty, she has the highest affinity in nature magic.
By sacrificing some of her lifespan, she can use one of the ultimate nature magic, [Life Zero]. A magic that uses high concentrated magic power by absorbing the magic in air, plants, trees, spirits and land, Leviana can unleashed an ultimate attack.

With the ball of energy transforming into a giant sword of light that will absorb any life and magic of the target when struck, a sword of light that can penetrate the world, the eyes of Hades started to shake because of the shock.
As if pulling the handle of the light, Leviana swung it down towards the youth.
“—,!!?”
The youth –Hades started his move.
Waving his both arms, he muttered [Doomed Days].
In an instant, under his feet, a magic circle was shining brightly. Then, a jet black colored miasma appeared, encircling in his hands.
A tremendous magic power erupted.
In front of him, a huge black whirlpool suddenly appeared. Inside of it were countless ghosts, ghouls, shades, specter and any other dead beings and monsters came out from it.
“I see. Your fighting spirit is rather commendable. Using such magic against me, usually it would have spelled my doom but because it was used by lower being such as you then its power have greatly diminished. But still, its power is not something I can face directly. So, how do you feel about this despair? My own highest magic —[Doomed Days] Devour!”
“GeeeeeeeeyyyyyaaaaAAAAAAAHHHHhahhhhh!!!”
The dead spirits howled as they clashed in the sword made of light. That menacing cry of absolute might had even caused the ground to tremble.
Houses and walls, buildings and windows shattered and the fragments scattered like the petals of a glass cherry blossoms, showering upon the city.
The sword of light was pushed back and then pierced by a spirit of an ugly looking monster with three eyes and five horns and it flew towards her with its sharp claws pointing at her.
Leviana lifted her head to look at the monster heading in her direction while in trance and made an observation that seemed to be remote from her.
—Ah! She will die.
This time she will lose her life.
“—ig sister–!”
Following the sound of an atmospheric explosion, there was another voice echoed in her mind.
*Gush!—came the sound of a flesh being pierced.
Blood sprayed and dyed Leviana in red. Her glossy hair and pure white skin were being bathed in a shower of red blood liquid from the punctured organs.
When she finally realized whose blood it belonged to, Leviana’s eyes had widened to their maximum. Seeming to have seen something that she didn’t want to believe as she unconsciously muttered its name:

“…He…ll…?”
The little Hell had suffered a very fatal injury that most likely takes her life away.
The ghostly claw of the ugly monster that came from the menacing black whirlpool had ripped open Hell’s abdomen along with Aqua whose body bursts.
“…Big…sister…there’s no need…guhaa!…to fight…any longer…guhaa!’
“…He…ll?”
“It’s okay now…Master’s here…guhaa!”
Not far away from them, —-Hein Vilestone was standing in the tallest building alone, surveying the scene with a blank look.
… …
A handsome man appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the seemingly battlefield, standing on top of the tallest tower while surveying the whole area.
That’s right, his appearance was exactly the same as a human, the only difference being his pair of fiery scaled wings and tail.
Clad in a luxurious-looking black outfit with a red flame motif engraved.
—this was Hein Vilestone who, after hearing the situation from Hell through [Telepathy] immediately flew, leaving behind the others in great haste.
Now then, what the hell happened here? Hein thought.
However, as soon as he arrived what he found was…
Though Hein was quite extremely smart, it still took him some time to grasp the tragic situation spread before him.
It would seem that his foster mother; Leviana Vilestone , Lina and the two princesses were relatively unharmed but his foster father; Draig Vilestone, Hell and Aqua were seriously injured, especially Hell whose life force were diminishing every second.
Normally speaking, if this is a simple monster attack then Draig and the others should not be suffering like this.
Hein was clear about their true potential, especially Draig.
For his enemy to reduce him to this state—means that the enemy is far stronger than he imagined.
… Then who is the enemy?
Hein gave the battle ground another sweep with his eyes.
The only possible enemy he could see was most probably those humungous insects and skeletal warriors that look like they’re lacking in calcium.
That was the rough speculation that he had while in his dazed state—but when his eyes moved across a black hair youth that was calmly floating, that thought was instantly tossed from his mind.
Staring at the black haired youth with a lack of emotion in his eyes, Hein used his [Teleportation] skill to instantly move beside Leviana and the others.
“Hein!”
“Mom, How’s… Hell and Aqua?”
Leviana stared at Hell for a moment without saying anything.
And then with tears falling from her cheeks, she slowly shook her head as her sobbing got louder and louder while embracing Hell’s disintegrating body.
Hein’s eyes had widened to the utmost. With his body trembling and shaking, he turned around towards the black haired youth.
“… Were you the one who did this?” Hein asked coldly.
His voice without any intonation.
A tone so cold that it gave goose bumps to all those who knew Hein well enough. Be it Leviana or princess Mifuelle, it was their first time hearing Hein speak in such a tone.
“Yeah, to lowly beings to dare fight against this god, such punishment is befitting.”
“I see.”
—In that instant,
A dense golden light rushed forth from his body and at this very moment, Hein’s chest seemed to be burning to the limit while the red hot feeling immediately spread to his whole body.
His pair of slim white hands glowed in a golden light and his whole body was saturated with intense killing intent. An unknown divine energy rushed forth from his body like a volcanic eruption.
“…You bastard!!! This king will blast you to smithereens–!!!”
With a roar, Hein gave a kick to the back of the black youth’s head with a power capable of smashing mountains and rivers.
His eyes bloodshot.
At this moment, all emotions have been released that even the unique skill [Gamers’ Heart and Mind] couldn’t restrict any longer.
His rage bellowed the heavens.
“Ugh-!?”
The hands that have been brought up to defend him had been kicked aside and it connected to his head.
It wasn’t that Hades was lax in his alertness, but the sheer rage in Hein’s strike as well as the surprise in power had made it impossible for his reaction to defend himself completely.
Not only that, if one look at Hein’s status right now, they would probably be wondering as to what’s happening on it.
Aside from the formerly grey colored skill [King] which is now shining in golden glow, Hein’s level decreased to 1 but beside it, there was one extra word, [Divinity].
That’s right, [Divinity].
