When I opened my eyes, what greeted me was a very dirty place that looks more terrible than a slum. Houses that were miserably made; only composed of branches and leaves.

Foul stench floated in the place.

As expected of goblins, even slum is more comfortable than this place.

Resisting to stop in this place for any longer, I tightened my hold towards Iona who was still asleep even now in my back. Well, because I look like a child right now it would seem as if I was just piggy backing a friend with the same age.

I immediately asked Hell to guide me to her mother.

As soon as we started walking, goblins appeared out of nowhere. In an instant, piercing glances and glares were directed towards us. It seems they were quite weary that they can't hide their own agitation and bloodlust....well, as weak as they are, there were no problems as long as I ignore them.

But to not attack and still stayed vigilant while looking at us, more precisely me, is quite praise worthy. It seems they really have brains for not attacking immediately.

There seems goblins who recognized Hell and wanted to call out to her, but if I allowed it then we will be stopped and will take a very long time to finish so I activated my [ Coercion ] while emitting my own killing intent to stop them.

I might be merciful and respectful towards my companion and those I acknowledge but for the monsters that I don't know; even if I don't like discriminating, I won't waste my time knowing them.

I am not a hypocrite after all.....just lazy~

Pulling my hand, Hell urged me to be faster. Well, It couldn't be helped, It had been for who knows how long since she returned to her house and saw her mother. There are also life threatening situations, so it would be impossible to not missed her mother. She is still a child after all~

Hell guide me to the best looking house which is only made of rotting straw and its wall were just a piece of plywood filled with holes.

As soon as we entered the house, Hell immediately called excitedly

"Mama!!!"

"Golbina?! Golbina!"

Running with all her might and with a face filled with smiles, Hell jumped into the bosom of a dark brown skin woman --- which seemed her mother, Lina which I heard before.

She has an appearance of a human woman in her 20s, with the exception of her slit red eyes and pointed ears. Her looks are only so-so. Her condition can't be called good because she was lying in dry leaves scattered in the ground. It seems she can't stand up because she only raised her upper body rather down moving her legs to stand up.

Seeing their figures which didn't resemble monsters at all, only a pair of mother and daughter tightly embracing each other, made me look at them warmly with gentle eyes.

"Golbina, where did you go!? And what happened to your appearance? Did you rank up?"

"Mom, My name right now isn't Golbina but Hell. You should call me Hell, it's the name master gave me!"

"Just what a-! What did you say? Master? Don't tell me..."

As if she finally noticed my presence, her body trembled as she looks at me with a glare while emitting killing intent.

"Who are you? What have you done to my daughter? If you don't want to die, answer me"

Feeling the killing intent, I shrugged my shoulder as if saying 'I don't care' with a nonchalant attitude.

"Don't blow your fuse immediately, I didn't do anything that can be considered bad. Hell is one of my companions and my friend. I also considered her as my little sister so no need to worry about it. We just came here to take you with us~"

"Liar! You, you're a human! And besides, she calls you master! That means you [ Tamed ] her!"

"Well, regarding about that... it just happened along the way...for me being a human...I think I'm doubting that fact anymore..."

I'm not a human...I'm a dragon - phoenix hybrid sort of....

"Hmpf! Like I listen to your lies! Release my daughter now or else I'm going to kill you myself brat! Even if I can't walk, I can still kill you without lifting my arm!"

"Nah~ Forget about it. Although You really have some abilities but you can't defeat me. Moreover, I didn't come here to fight you but take you with us. You're Hell's mother so of course your also my friend and companion...The name's Hein pleased to meet you~"

While saying that, I made a light bow while smiling.

She looked at me perplexed expression, her eyes showing complex feelings. It seemed she was still doubtful but I can't help it.

"That's right mom! Master is very, very strong and very kind! She gave me a monster core and helped me Rank up!"

"But..."

Even with Hell's words, it seems she really can't trust me huh~

"No need to worry, really. I don't have any intention of forcefully taming you or hurt you, I really just came here for Hell....Oh right, it seems like you're hurt...take this and drink it. This is a healing potion, it will help you recover~"

I gave her one of the highest healing potion I have, which I found in pretty boy's collections. She looked at me wearily, sniffed the content of the potion and drink.

Like a miracle, her wounds especially her burned legs and feet were, in an instant, healed up. Her scars also disappeared in thin air. As expected of the highest grade healing potion, its effects are miraculous.

"T,thanks..."

Inspecting her wounds and slowly moving her legs, she gave me her thanks. Although there is still some doubt, but right now it seems like it eased up a little.

I softly laid the sleeping beauty on my back to the ground and slowly telling Lina all the things that happened to me. The meeting with Hell, our fight together in a life and death situation as well as why am I in a brat mode right now.

At first she didn't believe me, then when she heard that we fought with a very strong monster. She suddenly flared up and scold not only Hell but also me.....ugh but I can't refute it because now that I think about it, I really did crazy stuff one after another. Just how did I survive all that?

Finishing my story, she stood up and walked towards me; although her steps somewhat wobbled, and began scolding me like a child that did something wrong. She especially emphasize the fight where I almost lost my life as well as the drinking of the blood event. She was really like a mother so I unconsciously listened to her while reflecting a little.

But I didn't came here to get scolded, you know! And aren't you a goblin? Then act like one!

Jeez, well not like I can say that....

Wait a moment...

As I was contemplating a little bit, a sudden thought came in my mind. I raised my head and ask Lina how come she behave like a real human and not like those dumb goblins. She is also quite smart and strong. She can also speak human language fluently as well as Hell.

During our conversation, it seemed like she finally opened up with me and believe me so when she heard my question she answered me truthfully.

She was a daughter of a human and a goblin. Her mother was a daughter of a farmer, when her mother was walking in search for herbs she was spotted by goblins and kidnapped her. She was dragged in their cave and raped her but then a couple of adventurers came and killed the goblins. She managed to escape during the commotion, however she was afraid of being hated because of her terrible experience so she didn't return to her parent's home and isolated herself in the civilization and lived inside the forest. Her mother told her that she hated Lina at first and decided to abort the child but in the end she couldn't.

It seems like her mother is really a very kind person, haaa~ Why does terrible things happened to kind women not those evil and vile people?

But still what the heck!? Her mother got raped, then her daughter, don't tell me Hell will also experience that!? Hell no! Who dares to touch Hell will die in my sword! I will protect her no matter what happens!

Because she couldn't abort the baby, Lina's mother decided to take care of Lina. She taught her many things and took care of her. During those times, she managed to love Lina and treat her terrible experience as a nightmare and forgot about it.

However, one day when Lina was looking for some fruits and small animals she didn't know that their house was raid by monsters and her mother got killed. Lina was so sad and feel despaired but then she remember what her mother said that she should live her life happily despite her being treated as monster, so she followed it and became strong along the way.

When I heard it, my tears started flowing from my eyes. Such a wonderful yet tragic story....

So the reason she behave that way was because of her mother's teaching huh~ She also taught Hell just like what her mother did to her. Such a wonderful family, although there are some parts that is very terrible but just like the saying goes 'Count the good not the bad' let's magnificently forget about it.

I stood up and walked towards Lina and stroke her head which was talking about her past with tearful yet nostalgic expression. A small child consoling a grown up woman, I wonder what would others think if they saw us?

I moved my gaze towards Hell who was resting her head on Lina's lap, and softly said

"You should come with us...well I intend to do that even if you won't agree because Hell wanted to stay with you. I also don't want to separate you both, Mother and Daughter. I can't really leave Hell in this place after all. You don't need to worry, I will protect you both no matter what happens..."

Lina raised her face to look at me. She seemed shock by my words because she could only blink while looking at me. Her mouth flaps open and then close, trying to find something to say.

Looking at her troubled expression, I subconsciously smiled.

She let out a dejected sigh and ask,

"Just why are you doing this? You are a human right? No wait, you said you have change your race...but what s your purpose in doing this?"

"Nothing~...didn't I told you already, I already considered little Hell as a Little sister so what's wrong with wanting to protect her? If by protecting you means that I'm also protecting her, then why would I hesitate? In the first place, if you are Hell's mother then you are also my relative, if not a very close companion and friend....right?"

When she heard my words, she looked at me directly in my eyes. For a few minutes of thinking she finally agree to come with us,

"But for one condition"

"Condition? What is it?"

"You must promise to protect us, no protect her!"

"That's not a condition but a given~ Just like what I said before, you don't need to worry anything, just let me protect you both~"

For the first time I finally saw her smile. A smile as dazzling as the sun. She raised her two hands widely towards me as if she wants to hug me....

Does she want me to hug her?

Well, why not?

Walking towards her, I embraced her without hesitation.

When Hell finally woke up; Although the sleeping beauty was still asleep, we [ Teleported ] back in the small room at the final floor of the dungeon. I've already found the teleportation circle that can transport us out of this dungeon before so finding it now is an easy thing to do.

With an additional companion; Me, Hell, Aqua, The sleeping Beauty; Iona and Hell's mother Lina, we stepped in the magic circle together.

Choosing Yes in my mind, we were enveloped by a golden light.

Our view was filled by the light coming from the magic circle so we closed our eyes, however I've felt that the air definitely change as it felt different from before. Compared to the Hot air from that Magma filled room or the warm yet slightly cold little room, the air here was very fresh it made my cheeks loosened from anxiety.

When I opened my closed eyes, the sight that came into view was.......a very familiar beautiful garden.

Colorful flowers, bountiful trees, the relaxing fragrant and the heavenly view.

.......It was definitely the [ Haven's Garden ].

Come to think about it, is the [ Haven's Garden ] the exit of this place? Or it's just because this is where I came from. Well, not that it matters~

Although I managed to rip enormous benefits from the dungeon, However all the times when I nearly lost my life resurface in my mind as I look around the beautiful garden as if it was a dream. Tears flowed as the bitterness and loneliness that I suppressed inside of me, swelled like a balloon. The dazzling sun floating in the sky, the beautiful color blue painted in the sky, in a daze my facial expression gradually turned into smile.

".....We are back...aren't we...?"

"Yes, Master"

Finally hit by an overwhelming happy feeling of reality, I looked away from the sun, glanced towards my companion where I shared my life in desperate times and then....

"Yeaaaaahhhhhh~!!!! I'm back damnit! Take that you lousy misfortunes!!! I'm back! The great me has come back!!!"

Jumping in happiness and then dove in the ground and rolled to feel the smooth grassy ground, I felt nothing but happiness. Overflowing happiness!
