After a few minutes of running around, I finally made it back to the [ Tree House ] This [ Tree House ] is an enormous tree next to the [ Kelt ] Tree which I made into my food source for now.

When I was eating some [ Kelt ] before, I noticed this cave-like place in this tree so I quickly decided to make this my temporary base. I now look-like a squirrel living inside the tree, although I still have enough food for now, this is still insufficient so I still need to find the exit of this place as quickly as possible.

As I was quietly resting, I suddenly heard a noise. I hurriedly look down in the ground, there I saw a monster. It is wearing an armor while eating some grass. It was a scary-looking praying mantis. It's body was covered with thick green crusts that looked extremely tough and durable. There were also two sharp looking blade on its two arms.

'A level 20 monster huh? hm....what should I do? should I fight it? well, If I'll try to fight it, then It would look like I was fighting a dual swordsman isn't it? Just look at those sharp looking blade....hehe but first I need to make sure there is no monster in the vicinity'

Looking at the window, Aside from the [ Blade Mantis ] there seems no other monster around. Then isn't this a big chance! hehehe

Just like what I did to the [ Red Wolf ] I silently move above the [ Blade mantis ] as I walked quietly from branches to branches and when it was perfectly under me, I immediately jumped towards it.

Raising the glowing claymore above my head, I immediately swung it downward hitting the head of the [ Blade Mantis ]

When the [ Blade Mantis ] looks like it's going to recover from its [ stun ] status, I hastily slide my feet and formed a beautiful arc as I jumped above the [ Blade mantis ]. I raised my sword and swung it above its head again.

This is one of the thing I discover these past few battles. You have 90% chance in triggering [ Stun ] status whenever you hit your opponents head very hard.

When I've finally landed on the ground, I throw my claymore upward. I step over the leaves and pebbles and then put my strength in my left leg as my body shot out from the ground like a bullet towards the stunned [ Blade Mantis ]

With full force, I chain two kicks and with two bangs the [ Blade Mantis ] body staggered as it fell in the ground.

Finishing my [ Hand-to-Hand Combat ] grinding, I spin my body mid-air and with a fist full of power I punch the [

Blade Mantis ] exposed abdomen.

"Krrrieeeeeekkkk!"

The [ Blade Mantis ] in just a minute became my personal sand bag as it couldn't do anything but shrieked in pain.

I did this because I thought that this is definitely a good opportunity to practice my [ Hand-to-Hand combat ]

Then I noticed my right arm is shining with pale blue light.

'Oh so I can also use [ Mana Channeling ] skill this way? Isn't this quite a good skill?'

When the sword was finally descending in a stabbing motion towards the ground, Its position was directly above my head.

This looks like a flawless, unavoidable accident in my part because if I won't dodge it I will be surely skewered with my own sword but I've already calculated it all in my mind. At the very last moment, I dodged as I took a hold of its hilt.

What can I say? flawless isn't it? fuhahahaha aren't I just simply amazing?

As all of this happened, the [ Blade Mantis ] finally regained its consciousness as it stood up with quite a difficulty while staring at me with those red, scary-looking slit eyes.

A grin escaped in my mouth as I saw its health which have only 40% of health left, it just meant that my relentless attacks before really did a huge amount of damage towards it, especially my new [ Hand-to-hand Combat ] which was boosted by my [ Mana Channeling ] skill.

It seems some of my skill; maybe all of my skills?......oh well, especially [ Hand-to-Hand Combat ] and [ Mana channeling ] skill has still a lot of undiscovered surprises hidden in it.

The [ Blade Mantis ] hissed loudly as it turned its body while swinging both of its blade. Seeing this, a glint of happiness spread in my eyes. Fighting this [ Blade Mantis ] is definitely like fighting a warrior who used dual swords!

I quickly retreated, my feet moving smoothly as I positioned myself behind it.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

I quickly dealt three strokes. This feeling from fighting a warrior using swords; although it's a mantis, who cares.....the strong rhythm of this attack made me feel delighted and excited at the same time! Ahhh, ever since I've entered this world, I'm always fighting beasts and monsters that looks like animals, now that I'm fighting a blade user enemy I felt like a fish who just entered a water! Truly satisfying~

I took care to maintain a safe distance while making all of the [ Blade Mantis ] attacks all go to waste by dodging it all by a thin margin, trying to make sure I'm not wasting any movements at all.

With the help of my [ Precognition ] skill, dodging it all is as easy as pie. This fight became my training in an instant.

Achieving my desired result, I now started to counter-attack seriously. I violently slash my sword horizontally and then followed by a combo-like skill composed of downward Slash, then Stab, then horizontal slash, then hack, then ram and lastly swirling horizontal slash by turning my whole body around together with the slash strike.

BANG!

As if an SFX sound can be heard from the background with the word 'FATALITY', the [ Blade Mantis ] let out its final shriek of agony and silently fell in the ground. Although it was a monster which has a higher level compared to mine,

in the end it was still a monster without much intelligence as it didn't even have any plan before fighting or even became flexible when the odds are turned against it, that's why it still died in the end.

Well, It still became my training partner so I still felt grateful towards it~
