After a few minutes of waiting, I can now hear a low growl under the tree I'm currently at.

'Finally, a Lone wolf has come banging my door! hehe time to hunt!'

Currently, I was at the top of this huge tree. After thinking on how to solve my current situation, I came up with the idea of ambushing monsters while waiting from the top of the tree until they are alone. There's no way I will fight mob monsters!

If there were other players at the scene, would they make fun of my decision as 'Cowardly' or 'foolish'?

Then let them think like that! There is no such thing as 'Cowardly' in a fight you know! There is only a 'Loser' and a 'Winner'.

From my relentless and careful observation this past few hours, I can say that some monsters roam alone while some monsters move in pack!

......and this monster [ Red Wolf ]which is a level 15 monster are one of the monster you can call a 'pack' monster, because they rarely move alone. But for some unknown circumstances, this [ Red Wolf ] seems alone~

I can't really guess the correct time, but from my own estimation I can say that I've been hunting for about 10 hours now and during these time, I've already leveled up to Level 9.

Such an excellent way to grind, for hunting 3 Level 12-20 monsters, This stinking system finally leveled me up!

Well, I don't really care but now is the time to hunt!

If I'm going to do this, then I should do this quickly!

"...........!"

The [ Red Wolf ] sat down on the ground while licking on its feet comfortably.

Facing the best opportunity, my gaze fell to my hand.

The five fingers were tightly gripping the claymore.

Calming myself down, I took a deep breath. 'Fuuuuu Haaaaa~'

Lifting my sword, I stared at the [ Red Wolf ] from the top of the tree. I stood up and silently jump towards the [ Red Wolf ]

"Aaaaaaacccckk!"

CRITICAL HIT!

Because of the gravity, the sword was deeply plunged in its body as it wriggled in the floor.

Being attacked, the [ Red Wolf ] became furious as it tried to claw me using its pointy front claw. I slightly moved back to avoid its attack.

With my sword still plunged on its body, I grabbed it tightly as I swung it downward as if I'm trying to split its body.

- Fatal blow struck. Adds 300% damage.

"Aaaaaaacccccckkk!"

'A fatal Blow! Lucky~hehehe now you're mine!'

As my attack landed, It pushed the [ Red Wolf ] back as it growled towards me. It immediately charged forward fiercely, waving its claws lunging towards me.

But this attack; with my [ Precognition ] ability, is child's play for me so I easily dodged it as I counter it with my claymore. Another sword strike landed on the [ Red Wolf ] making its body which was still in the middle of jumping to crash into the ground.

Without giving it a chance to attack again, I took a step forward as I launch a series of sword strikes landing on its body making it unable to move.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

The [ Red Wolf ] could only growl in pain as I continuously showered it with sword attacks. It's tail finally curved upwards and then It stopped moving anymore.

After a few seconds, the [ Red Wolf ] disappeared leaving 10 silver coins and a two items, a pelt and a meat.

Yep! not a bad reward....

You can turn meat to steaks by cooking it on a bonfire or make it into delicacy by making someone with high-level in cooking. Animal pelt is one of the most widely used materials for clothes, especially Leather armors and the like. The higher the grade of an item the better and expensive it gets.

"Rrrrooooooooaaaaaaaarrrrr"

"Great~ time to bail~"

As soon as I heard the howl from the distance, I immediately run towards another place. Well, you see, If you spend too much time in that spot then you will likely be surrounded in no time. Although I can kill the [ Red Wolf ] with ease, If by chance I got surrounded then all the things I've done will gone for naught! I will surely die~

"Rrrooooaaaarrr!"

As expected, a group of wolves really did come to the place where I was just at. I can hear the howl coming from its direction. Good thing I immediately left~

Currently I collected 1 rusty sword and 5 silver coin which were dropped by a [ Level 18 Kobold ] a [ Tree sap ] and 3 silver coin from a [ Level 12 Treant ] 2 pelt and 1 wolf meat from a [ Level 20 and Level 15 Red Wolf ] quite a generous reward isn't it! It even filled my inventory completely that I didn't have a choice but to store the other items in the biggest tree I've made into my base.

Every item is important you know!

Well, not just that~ I'm also quite fortunate that I found some apple-like thing called [ Kelt ] and it became my food source. I can't really eat the raw meat in my inventory you know! that's just gross~ so I settled in the tree next to the [ Kelt ] Tree.

As I was on my way to my base which I called [ Tree House ] suddenly........

A red warning suddenly flashed in my vision and then I noticed..........some vines and thorns were slowly moving.

"Sh*t I forgot! These rattan vines are alive. There's a [ Treant ] somewhere!"

Yep! the ever popular [ Treant ] monster. There are some stories that showed how weak [ Treant ] monster were but......believe me, [ Treant ] are not weak monsters! yeah [ Treant ] are weak to fire, but if you don't have any fire magic or any ability that can create fire like me, then it's better to avoid these monsters.

From all the fight I experience till now, the fight with the [ Level 12 Treant ] is the most dangerous, annoying and the longest fight I have. Although It's just a Level 12 monster, those annoying vines and branches are really deadly and dangerous! not just that If you don't cut all the roots under them, then they will just continue to regenerate their life! really very annoying!

Phew~ I can even say that those [ Kobolds ] and [ Red wolves ] are far more cuter than these annoying trees! sigh~

I really thought I'll die at that time, luckily enough I immediately realized its weakness and continue to cut those annoying roots that slowly but surely was trying to regenerate, and coupled with that it's just a level 12 monster.

But now.....this, what should I do? firstly it is very hard to distinguish a [ Treant ] monster from an ordinary Tree.

Mou~!!!! Am I going to experience that annoying and terrible battle again!?

Just how unlucky am I?

"Rustle..."

Suddenly, from afar, vines with dozens of meters long suddenly shot out directly towards me as I repeatedly cut the annoying vines entangled in my feet, while at the same time, the vines in the ground was also moving slowly to surround me.

"What the-!? The vines can also attack like these? hey, hey I didn't sign for this you know!"

In an instant.....hundreds of vines, thin or thick covered the skies, and began attacking around me even the vines in the mud snapped out. I suddenly found myself trapped within this prison-like vines.

"What the hell is this! The other [ Treant ] didn't do things like this you know! More like, that [ Treant ] can now be considered cute compare to this! This is too much! please call my lawyer damn it!"

'As if I'll let myself die here!'

A blue light immediately flashed as the claymore in my hand suddenly glowed with blue-colored light. I hastily opened my inventory and then tapped the short sword. The short sword immediately materialize in my hand. Holding them in reverse grip I let out a loud voice that look like it made the earth tremble for a second.

" Way of the Dragon God Fourth Form: Battle Dance of the Mantis! Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!"

Under the attack of the Where my claymore and short sword passed by, countless vines immediately split apart. My swords quickly transformed into a blur, and countless vines were spilt apart.

And then a desolate, miserable cry could be heard.

Those remaining, unbroken vines quickly fled at high speed. Soon those undamaged vines disappeared while the shattered vines lay on the ground, but it still continued to twitch as though they were living tentacles.

"Hmph! You think you can easily kill the great me? dream on! I might prefer doing tentacle play towards wom....ehem forget that....W-well the point is, doing tentacle play to me is unacceptable! I don't swing like that so give up!" I said as I stared at my surroundings.

I slowly searched for the [ Treant ] where these countless vines came from, but as soon as I discovered it, my haughty and smug look crumbled in an instant.

5 meters away from me, I noticed a tree was wriggling around. As soon as I focused my eyes on it, a notification window showed up.

Elder Treant Level ??

Oh my god! I think I'm going to die today!

"No way!?"

'I need to get the hell out of here! I can't win against that ridiculous monster!'

Without waiting for it to recover from the shock of its vines being cut, I quickly fled with my fastest speed.

"I know my limits! Against that thing, I'll never win with my current strength, but know this for I shall return and when that time comes, It's my time to hunt you down!"

I said while looking back at the place where the monster is. But it seems it won't just let me escape isn't it, It's vines continuously follow me and shot out towards me.

I managed to dodge them by hair's breadth but if this continue I don't know how many monster will gather around here. I also let out a loud voice just now.

'Damn it! this stupid monster!'

After I had manage to flown a few dozen meters away, I turned around and charged towards the vines running in the grounds as fast as a thunderbolt. Smashing down my claymore in the ground like a heavy mace and delivered a vicious blow to the vines then I swiftly turned around and left.
