As soon as I left the room, I hastily inspected the loot I got from my fight with the goblin. There are three 3 items, 6 goblin fangs and 30 copper coins.

I still don’t know what the use of these teeth is so I just stuff them in my inventory. I’m more excited at the items dropped by them.

These items didn’t disappoint me. Although it’s only one grade weapon and two grade weapons this items gives high additional effects. This…isn’t this system very generous? Hahaha very good!

Well aside from the buckler: I’m really not comfortable with using shields and the like; I’m more into offense than defense: the spear and sword seems very useful for me. but still nothing beats the sword….

I put the Buckler, spear, short sword and the dagger in my inventory and equip the claymore.

Although using spear seems advantageous but I’m more proficient in using swords.

With better sword I felt stronger than before!

Passing through the right pathway, I slowly and carefully walked while being extra vigilant.

After a few seconds passed since I’ve entered the right pathway, I then heard something up ahead.

“croak, croak, crooaaak!”

The sound was becoming louder and louder.

Since I still can’t grasp its rough position until it stepped in my map range, I stopped and waited for it to show up.

I prepared myself and made my fighting stance. I need to be thoroughly prepared because I still don’t know what kind of monster it is.

As soon as the monster finally entered within my map range, immediately a red dot showed up in my map signifying the monsters position.

It was moving directly towards me.

Preparing for an expected combat, I took a deep breath and cleared my mind.

I grip the claymore tightly and focused my gaze in front of me.

What appeared before me was an overgrown frog with fins on its head and instead of webbed hand; it was paw with sharp claws.

Hehe bring it!

I lowered my body and launched myself like a bullet towards the monster. I rushed and raised the claymore in my hand as it began to glow with bluish light.

Early bird catches the worm!

But the monster leapt off to the side causing my attack to miss.

Tsk! What a nimble frog!

The monster frog launches its tongue towards me. Fortunately because of my superhuman reflexes, I manage to dodge by hair’s breath.

Although that was an already expected reaction from a level 4 monster, but to be able to easily escape my attack and immediately counter, I couldn’t help but frown in displeasure.

Without giving the monster frog the time to recover, I twist my body mid-air causing me to spin and immediately rushed towards it as if using a charge-type skill.

Charging fiercely at the monster frog I raised the claymore downward and directly slashed its abdomen.

“Creeeak!”

The monster frog shrieked as if in pain and began to retaliate and attack me with its claws. Expecting it, I parried the counter attack while thinking to end the battle. I delivered a strong, downward strike to the right while turning my foot sideward and then twisted my wrist and swung back up again.

Bluish lines made by my claymore showed up in mid-air as I swing it.

Retracing the trajectory, I went down in with a motion similar to that of a tennis swing. Every time the claymore hit the monster frog’s body, a sound of it impacting and a flow of red came out.

The monster frog raised its claws as if it wanted to block the blow that it thought was going to come from above but I went against its expectations and punched directly towards its face. Then I sent a vertical swing at the monster frog that was stunned by my previous actions, and without a pause I kicked its fat belly this time.

The monster frog’s took a big hit from all the attacks and was now in the red area.

“Croooooaaaaack!”

Heeeee, is it that painful?

I put all the strength in my body behind the final attack. The claymore in my hand was now glowing with bluish light again as I raised it and swing it downward. The sword flew straight from the monster frog’s right shoulder up to its

left waist, drawing a shining bluish ark in the air. The monster frog froze then fell to the ground like a puppet with its strings cut and disappear.

Phew~ all done! It’s quite fortunate that the fight didn’t prolong or else I don’t know what will happen. I’m now stronger but nothing is absolute during a battle, what matter most is the outcome and that is to win!

It sure is convenient to have a map or else I don’t know whether how high level or what monster will suddenly pop out.

Feeling relieve and all I was now tried to collect the items dropped by the monster frog but then my map suddenly started blinking red.

This is!

Shit! Did it call for help?

Displaying in my map was four red dots which are slowly advancing to where I am. I tap the red dots and as expected enough they are all and what’s worst is there are 3 level 4 monster and one level 5 monster!

I can feel my heart twitching and beating loudly!

Is this fear?

No I don’t think it is fear! More like excitement?

After a while four came into view and one of them was a big monstrous frog compared to the others.

I was now surrounded. 3 in front of me and one behind me.

Isn’t this very dangerous!?
