Chapter 3 – A spider like creature
Cleaning the 1st floor loaded with bugs, I pondered around some more to discover the route to the second floor. Right when I found the stairs to the second floor, a shadow attacked me from above.

It was an enormous bug with eight legs, exceptionally dim green in shading, like a spider however it has pincers, and a tail like of a scorpion. The tail wasn't pointy yet like a tube, at the opening of the tube like tail, purple goo was streaming out. I can just depict it as much as that, as the light originating from a wisp (me) was not that splendid.
It assaulted me once more, however just falls flat on the ground as my 「Otherworldly Body」 ability was enacted. It was kind of bizarre as a Passive Ability continues being initiated, it was a peculiar system, yet I realize that being a Passive Skill, it will dependably always be activated. Be that as it may, I get it's convenient as I can be warned that I was attacked, and will keep me alarm in some point.
I utilized my ability 「Density Manipulation」 to my right arm and punch the monster at its face.

The Toxinling was in a trance, it probably wasn't expecting that its ambush won't hit me. I dense my left fist, and gave it another punch that pushed it back a meter away from me.

Clearly, being in a daze state will make the damage stronger. It was common knowledge from playing games back when I was still a human. The Toxinling shake its head and recouped from my assault. It jumped back a few meters and shot some goo from its tail. The approaching shot was quick; however because of my boost of stats, I manage to dodge it. But the next thing that happened surprised me.

A sound of fluid blasting can be heard from my back.

Absorbed 48 Damage from Venom.
I felt kind of lightheaded from that venom, by one means or another it manage to affect me. I hurried forward to where it was, as it shots goo at me. I ensured that I'm avoiding each shot from it with everything that I got. I have to give my all in each second of my life, to survive in this word. I can't let my guard down and relax, because anything unforeseen can happen.
I'm avoiding left and right, however a few beads of venom manages to hit me.

Absorbed 22 Damage from Venom.
► Holy Guard (Activated) 120/250
Absorbed 28 Damage from Venom.
A meter far from the creature, I can see that its eyes shined red as the hole of its tail became wide.
All of a sudden, red goo splattered onto my face, bringing my ⌠Holy Guard⌡ to lose its effect.

Lost in my wrath, I solidified my fist and punched it left and right, as it was paralyzed in each punch that I gave it.

I've put all my strength into this last strike, my displeasure for dying, for being sent into this world, and for being a wisp that was looked down as the weakest monster.

I was somewhat tired, my MP was almost empty, and I'm still taking damage from the Poisoned Status. A considerable amount of Notification box showed up, I begin reading it while resting and recuperate some MP.

I figure battling this creature was worth it, despite all the trouble. I was happy that I have acquired another ability, yet despite everything I should be prepared for what creatures will come when I get deeper into this Dungeon.
Something sparkling got my attention from the dead body of the Toxinling. Its body has a tremendous opening, and it was most likely from my last assault that was a Critical hit. I get closer and lifted it up. It was some sort of precious stone, a dark green gem to be exact. I recalled a game having a gem similar to this one. There were different kinds of RPG games where, when a creature was killed and its body would vanish leaving some items and coins behind. What's more, there are those that are to some degree sensible where the butchered beast's body will remain and decay, leaving its "core", and a few sections of the creature can be gathered as things to be sold, or can be made as a weapon or armor.
I picked the "Core" or whatever it was called, and put away it inside my body. A bit nervous, I continue to the following floor.
