Chapter 2 – Analyzing

There was not a lot in the main floor with the exception of the place where I was born or "spawned", and some other little critters flying, and slithering on the dirt. I attempted to assault an insect however my arms just went through them. I attempted to use my skill 「Soul Possession」 to an insect similar to a scorpion. Little by little, I was entering the little insect's body, but only a screen popped up while my body was rejected and exited its body.

Failed to possess a body! ! !

I was in rage after reading the notification box, so this little creature has the same strength as me? This can't be true! I read again the description of the ability and analyze it.

“Lesser strength or weaker rank.” I must have misunderstood it. “So a Lesser Strength is the same as Weaker Rank?” *tsk* This creature must be the same rank as I am. "This is a huge problem; by what method would I be able to get stronger if I can't have a physical body to battle another creature and level up." I went to a corner and think for a moment.

"How? By what means would I be able to do this, I can't be stuck here. Sure I have a boost of stats; however I cannot use my strength. ARRGGGHHHH!!! I'm getting frustrated over this. If only I have a physical body, and not this low dense cloud like body."

After obtaining a new ability, it's time to try it out. I ponder around and look for a bug, and fortunately I found the bug like scorpion. I use my ability 「Density Manipulation」 to my right arm as I approach, it didn't respond at all as it realizes that I'm not a threat. "Tssss!! Looking down at a wisp huh! Let's see about that." I surged closer to it while ensuring that my right hand is as dense as possible, and gave my first attack.

At the point when my punch reaches of its head, my clench hand got scattered into the air like a smoke dissipates into nothing. I can now see its HP as a damage box pops out as the little Cave Scorpion was sent flying a couple meters.

"My fist was not that sufficiently hard enough but rather, beyond any doubt made harm to that Cave Scorpion. Possibly if my fist was denser and thicker, I can one hit kill this Scorpion." I likewise don’t know what is the “normal strength” of a regular monster, same as the stats system in this world. Obviously every computer game has its own "Stats to Power" ratio, but as long as I can become stronger, calculation of strength won't be an issue.

As I was lost into my thoughts, the Scorpion was angered by my action and attempted to charge at me, as it tries to assault me with its pincer and hit me with its poisonous tail.

This creature can't physically hurt me as a result of my ability 「Otherworldly Body」; however every attack will caused a small portion of my body to be scattered into the air, as it takes time to recover my original physic. "I better slaughter this Scorpion before the toxin devours my 250 points of 「Holy Guard」."

I distanced myself to it, and dense my fist with my ability to give it another punch. A splitting sound was heard as somewhat a small crack can be seen at its hard shell. And with *dimp* sound another notif. Box came out.

Cave Scorpion was slain.

I tried possessing its body with my 「Soul Possession」 ability, yet just a notice box showed up, saying that I cannot have a dead body. I attempted to think and comprehend it, that most likely a broken body can't work any longer. I did not leveled up by killing only one monster so I scan the first floor for bugs. I slaughtered a ton of bugs, and wind up cleaning the 1st floor of critters. I felt like a bug exterminator from doing this.

And that's the end of the first day.*I think?*
