CHAPTER 7 - NIGHT OF REVELATION

That night, I've prepared my belongings and packed all things that I needed for departure.

It will took us approximately 10 days by carriage to reach Alvatere, passing through four principalities and two kingdoms.

The transportation systems in this world isn't as developed as those of my previous life.

According to my grandpa, the Commonwealth of Alvatere is actually a multiracial country ruled by ten aristocratic families. From these families, a leading member called chief representative will be selected.

Although the country is a commonwealth, it is still an absolute monarchy though an elective one.

Anyone who just reincarnated here from another world like me will conclude that there is no democracy present here. But since slavery in this world is outlawed, I could give them three out of five stars for that.

Okay. Now that I'm done packing my luggage, what should I do?

Hmm... Right, I need to make some slight adjustments to my skill system.

But it's night time. Maybe I should create something that would help me. Something that would let me see my growth...

Something like a game interface or akin to that.

A brilliant idea flash in my mind.

"If its this world, maybe it's possible."

I closed my eyes and began to concentrate as I plunged my consciousness inside my Eidos.

From there, I searched different kinds of arrays inside and made a copy of them. I began to modify the copied versions of the selected arrays by deconstructing and reconstructing their structure.

Unlike from the common arrays portrayed in games and animes, mine is somewhat unique.

It is a combination of inscription patterns, number coding and advance scientific mathematical equations. A very complex design I might say.

After completing the needed procedures, all I needed is to execute the command.

A small azure ring-like circle with runes appeared on my forefinger and a thin box of bluish white emerged in front of it. Then I began to read the contents of the box,

I let out a terrible shriek as my eyes glanced the "The Accursed Fellow" Title and its effect.

Is this a joke? What's with this weird title? In great disbelief and confusion, I clicked the "The Accursed Fellow" title to see its contents--

The Accursed Fellow

A curse given by the gods of Hicara. By crippling the Magus system of the cursed fellow, the person is unable to use or store mana inside his body. It cannot be repaired even with the highest purification or healing skill.

I quickly punched the status window with my fist in rage.

Why am I cursed by the gods of this world? And they given me a curse that cannot be uplifted. Really?

To hell with them! I never done something wrong when I came here. Why are they doing this to me? Are they mad about my existence in this world? The heck...!

Anyways, this shed some light about my condition. Even its really bad, it felt somehow a bit good. Now I know who were responsible for my curse.

Though I felt cheated deep inside.

Yeah. If I saw one of these so-called gods, I'm gonna give them a good beating. Literally and abusively.

To relieve my anger and frustration, I checked the other titles,

Oh, boy! This is way too damn cool!

I rubbed both my hands while drooling. This one really suits me. Hehe, I can't wait to do some "advance craftsmanship". I can feel the engineer spirit within me going wild.

Wait, I need to calm myself a bit. The people inside the house are currently sleeping and resting.

Unable to hold back my increasing excitement, I quickly looked at the skills associated with my two abilities.

As I saw the list of skills, I began to grin like an evil man silently. The possibilities are endless!

That night I wasn't able to sleep and by the time I knew it, it was dawn already.
