Damit being a female angel sucks. Being a angel working for that wimp the God of light sucks less than say being a angel of Mia or it did before today. A while back I was ordered to hunt down a skeleton with three of Mia's best and brightest.

The job was simple take on physical form hunt down said skeleton and kill it. The only problem is it jumped into a latrine to escape us. The smell was horrific as was the sight of some human that looked like he had been smashed with a mace into the private parts. Judging from the blood flow someone had really hated him.

When we checked our internal maps we noticed the skeleton was below us and moving away at speed. A guard ran up to us and bowed “Hello how may i serve the great angels of light.” Gregory my fellow angel picked the guard up by the neck and tossed him into the latrine.

There was a scream from below “Its in my mouth oh Mia protect me its in my mouth.” Gregory leaned over and barked out his order. “Is there a tunnel in there or something like that.” “Please help it got in my mouth.” The guard was not happy. Gregory eyes flashed “Is there a tunnel or do I curse you with cramps and let you drown in the shit and piss your fellow meat puppets left down there.”

“There is what looks like a tunnel entrance but it is caved in. Please for the love of Mia let me out.” Gregory cursed the unfortunate guard with a minor paralysed spell and i saw his head drop into the putrid mess below. Gregory cursed “I have not time for fat guardsmen That Skeleton we are after is smart we have got to move before it has time to prepare a trap.”

Silently I cursed I was the only female Angel hear and those other idiots all followed Mia. So i was the most expendable. Mia was a bitch and her soldiers were worse ill mannered and badly disciplined. I did not want to be the one frozen in place and left to drown in human waste. We opened our wings and headed for the nearest temple.

The priestess Gave us our orders. The humans would weaken the skeleton and then we would be sent in to mop up.That was the plan right up until we all received a quest.

Kill the Skeleton

The Skeleton named Descrator has annoyed Mia once to often so kill him and the first 10000 gold he has on him is yours.

What was Mia defective. This quest would alert every thief and adventurer that the skeleton had some serious gold on him. I wondered if Mia had 10000 gold in the local city. What she should have done is issued a quest with a 10000 gold reward for the destruction of the skeleton and bringing all its possessions back. Was it possible the skeleton had stolen Mia entire war budget?Stranger things have happened. Still with such a reward I was betting the humans made a mess of things.

I stood back happy to let the humans do the majority of the fighting. I would head in behind Gregory and try to pick up as much loot as possible. Only it did not work out like that the skeleton unleashed a horde of about thirty undead. Not lower type undead either they had gone threw the standard humans like a hot knife threw butter. It took a long time to track them down and reorganize the assault.

That's when i got the bad news a quest.

Mia has betrayed your sovereign ruler the god of light so please kill Gregory and as many of Mia's angels as you can.

Things had gone from really crappy to I might die. If Mia managed to take the Gods of light place i would be in the crapper. If a god falls his followers are expected to go out in a blaze of glory killing as many of his enemies as they can.

So I was suppose to launch a insane assault against Mia if the god of light lost his place in the pantheon. Well he could go do it with a goat. He was a wimp and pretty stupid. I mean who trusted Mia she was a snake at least the god of pure evil tended to keep his oaths. But most of the gods of goodness would sell you out for a copper piece.

I reviewed my situation i had no one following the other gods who would re spawn me. If i died i was likely to be re spawned as a serving maid. It would take three or four thousand years to claw my way back to angel-hood. So i would pull a runner as soon as i could and head for the god of pure evils temple. Being a dark angel was not so bad and with him creaming his enemies and Mia forces occupied elsewhere there was a real chance for some loot.

Gregory and dumbass one and two were with me and running away at the moment was a bad idea. I needed to ditch the other angels or stab them in the back and run for it. Things started out well the humans were in disarray and there attack on the prison was a miserable failure.

Resurrection spells are expensive more so if the body is defiled by being brought back to life. The soldiers knew that there was a big lack of priests. They were not eager to die. I watched one recruit stab his Sargent in the back and kick him into the hole below. What are you going to do I noted him in my mind i could perhaps blackmail him later

Thats when dumbass two lost it he screamed “That's it I am going in.” and jumped into the hole. i checked out his opponent

I watched from above as the ice titan killed him with a single attack. Both of its maces smashed dumbass two into the ground. I swore and began a spell to check the level of the ice titan.

WTF My mind went blank for a second what was that. How the hell did that skeleton get those skills. Just by killing dumbass 2 it had gone from hp 13460 to 16510. That skeleton was a menace and also a chance to get out of here.

I gave Gregory and dumbass 1 a smirk and a wink . “I have found a weakness in the ice titan. I can cast a hold spell from here. Get him and we will have a party in the local lords bed all three of us” I started to chant and dumbass 1 and Gegory jumped off the ledge to gracefully land on the ice below. I set fire to the ropes the humans had been climbing down and chuckled. Angels have wings but you try to use them to fly into a crack twenty feet above your head. It can be done if you have perfect visibility and someone above you helping you with say a rope. That's when things went wrong

As I was still a member of his team i got the quest notice the same time the others did. Shit the bastard had even added a bonus for me to be tortured. I ran towards the hole that lead to the prison and jumped down. I screamed out “i am totally ready to swap sides.”

So your chained until that is done. If you want some clothes the humans left plenty however they tend to soil themselves upon death. Also i will be the one putting it on you the others are well dumb at the moment. It will take a while for them to evolve enough to do things like that. The first angel body is over there. we are in a side tunnel so if i lose the prison cavern i will not lose the corpses. the skeleton mage on your right will set up the first body.
