“Humans? Took you long enough.” The tiger spoke without moving its mouth, the voice childlike and adorable in their heads. “Telepathy?” Han Ling spoke without thinking.

The tiger tilted its head to the side, “Telepa- what? This is a Mind Bridge you dumb human!” Han Ling blinked, frowning at being scolded by a little kitten.

“Forget about it, you humans arrived here for treasure right?” Bai Ye Qing glanced at Han Ling and nodded, getting confirmation from him first. “Great Sage, may we know your name and why you’re here?”

The little tiger harrumphed, “Hmph! This Tiger’s name is Thunder Tiger Sage! I was the being that ruled the Tiger Mountain!” But then the little tiger suddenly lowered its head, “But now I am trapped in this little body, because of a dirty trick by the wolves!”

Han Ling widened his eyes, “Those wolves outside?” The tiger nodded, “Yes, I am now trapped in this weak little body, but with my strengthening qi power, I managed to open a chance of fate, hoping for someone to release me from this place.”

“What do we need to do?” Han Ling scanned the surroundings as he spoke, eyeing the caves above the hall, getting a bad feeling about them.

“What you see now is just a small amount of my power, to release me I will need another body to host my soul.”

“Another body?” Bai Ye Qing flinched, “We will have to give you one of our bodies?” The tiger stared at the young man, nodding slowly. Bai Ye Qing clenched his fist, anger boiling inside him, “We can’t do that!”

“We can.”

“Huh?” Bai Ye Qing turned to Han Ling who just spoke. “It doesn’t have to be a human body.” With that Han Ling waved a hand, a tiger stepping out into the air. “We can use him.”

The Thunder Tiger Sage widened its tiny eyes, “Oh! A Thunder Flash Tiger, that would be perfect!”

Golden strands formed around the little kitten, snaking towards the Thunder Flash Tiger, coating the tiger in the same light. “This process will take a while, for it to be successful, do not let any of my bodies get hurt.”

“I have a bad feeling about this…” Han Ling muttered.

“Haa… I’m not glad I’m right…” Han Ling let out a defeated sigh, staring at the caves at the sides of the hall. Dozens upon dozens of wolves poured into the hall, howling and gnashing their teeth at the sight of new prey.

“Get into formation!” Han Ling roared, his aura bursting into the ceiling, a domineering power that struck fear into the wolves. “Don’t let them get close!” “Yes, sir!” the trio responded with great vigour, their eyes flaming with determination.

“I’ll have to get serious…” Han Ling reached both hands forward, two rifts opening in front of him, pulling out a white and black sword. “True Blood Forms: 1st form. Red Flower.” 30 blood red sabres formed around Han Ling, hovering menacingly.

“Vibration Blade.” Both swords were wreathed in lightning, glowing like a bright star. “Lightning Speed.”

A thunderbolt flashed and Han Ling was right in front of a dozen wolves. Both swords slashed, a flash of light and the wolves in front of him disintegrated in an instant. “Hold the line!” Han Ling’s body blurred, and he appeared in front of another group of wolves, turning them into mangled bodies with just a single slash.

“Metal Punch!” Gang Tie’s metal fist slammed into the head of a wolve, bursting the head in a single strike, whipping around to kick a second who ran past him towards the tiger, lightning exploding the wolve into ash.

“Ha!” Bai Ye Qing swung the Lightning Feather, the sword rays slicing the wolves like butter. “Cold Shock!” He slammed his foot on the ground, freezing the ground in a wide area, stopping a dozen wolves in its tracts.

“Rong Yi!” The young woman sprung into the air, thrusting her spear at incredible speeds, destroying wolves easily. “Three Petal Stance.” She soared through the air, landing perfectly in front of three wolves, her spear flash and a line appeared on all three wolves, decimating them in an instant.

“Thunder Shock!” A ring of lightning shocked a wide area of wolves around Han Ling, to which he proceeded to cull down with a few sword slashes. “Hmm, we’re doing pretty good…”

“I just had to run my thoughts off…” Han Ling grumbled, staring at the giant wolf stepping out one of the caves.

Luckily for Han Ling, the three of them obeyed immediately. Han Ling glanced at them, making sure their eyes were closed before unfurling his wings, a tremendous amount of void power surged in his arms, entering both his blades.

It ripple of sword rays burst out from Han Ling, decimating a large number of wolves in an instant. Han Ling unsummoned both his swords, slamming both palms in the ground.

“Rock Blast!”

A skill Han Ling obtained from the wolves. Dozens of large rocks burst from the ground, zooming towards the giant wolf.

But the moment the rocks collided, they burst into pieces, not even leaving a piece of dirt on the wolf’s body. The wolf grinned, throwing its head back and howling.

More wolves poured into the cave, twice as much as before.

“Damn it!” Han Ling raised a hand into the air, the air reeked of a metallic tang of ozone, clouds formed on the ceiling, purple lightning arcing the around.

“Sonic Clap!” Han Ling activated skill after skill, targeting large groups of wolves before slamming his fist down, “IGNITE!”

A hundred bolts of Lightning flashed, even the trio could see a bright flash through their sealed eyes.

The bolts ricocheted, bouncing from one wolf to another, blasting an entire hall of wolves in an instant. Han Ling exhaled, glaring at the single large wolf left.

The Wolf of the River looked startled that his army of wolves vanished in an instant, growling in annoyance at the winged human. “You’re the only one left.” With a sonic boom, Han Ling approached the wolf in an instant, sword glowing bright purple.

“Void Spark Sword: 3rd Spark. Ignition Wheel!”

A wheel of purple flame slashed across the head of the wolf, causing it to yelp in pain as a searing gash was left on its head. “Even that won’t do much damage.” Han Ling muttered, his hands gripping swords tightly. That was a powerful skill that would slice Goblin Chieftains in half, but this wolf took a full-on strike with only a small gash.

“This won’t be easy.”

Han Ling leapt back, just as the wolf’s paw slammed into the ground, its eyes furious. It opened its maw and Han Ling immediately recognized that attack.

“Void Spark Sword: 4th Spark. Mountain Splitting Blade!”

A powerful purple sword ray flew towards the wolf, just as it launched a powerful beam of water. The ray and beam collided, blowing everything away in an immense shockwave. Even the trio was blown back, unable to resist opening their eyes. Luckily Han Ling furled his wings just in time, so they never saw Han Ling’s wings, then again this means Han Ling would have to fight a difficult fight…

“Ye Qing! Freeze it in place! Quick!” Han Ling burst forward, his palm glowing a bright purple. “Blood Overdrive!” He felt his strength rise instantly. “Lightning Speed!”

Han Ling turned into a streak of purple light, appearing right in front of the Wolf’s giant head. “ARGHH!!!” His palm collided with the wolf’s hard head, “Thunder Shock Palm!”

With a loud boom, lightning coursed through the wolf’s brain, knocking the giant beast out for a single second. “Now!”

Bai Ye Qing ran under the wolf, stomping his feet, cold frost forming around all four of the wolf’s limbs. “Frozen!” Han Ling spun in the air, just as the wolf regained consciousness. “Void Sword Style: 2nd Form. Abyssal Surge!” A flaming purple sword ray slashed across the wolf’s head, causing it to howl in pain. Yet it could not move with his frozen limbs, causing it fall from imbalance.

“NOW!”

Han Ling unleashed a ferocious barrage of attacks, slashing at the soft underbelly of the wolf. Ye Qing, Gang Tie and Rong Yi all struck, not wasting a bit of strength.

“Petal Strike!”

“Metal Punch!”

“Frost Fist!”

Han Ling gripped True Blood Sword, all the blood sabres seeping in the sword, coating the blade in a deep red hue. “True Blood Form: Fifth Form. Severing Life!”

Six Blood red sword rays left deep gashes in the wolf, even then the beast was relentless, the wounds left by the trio were already healing from a sage’s power. “RAWHHHH!!!”

The wolf smashed the ice around his legs, his maw opening wide, a powerful torrent of water Qi spewing out like a geyser aimed straight at Rong Yi. “Rong Yi!”

Bai Ye Qing reached out but was too late, the geyser slammed into her.

CLANG!!!

Ye Qing gasped, seeing a man standing in front of Rong Yi, a blood red shield deflecting the powerful strike. “Move!” The girl scrambled to the side just as the shield exploded, knocking Han Ling into the wall, embedding his body into it. “Gah!” Still, he glared at the wolf, this time summoning his sabres again, absorbing them all instantly.

“True Blood Forms: Eighth Form. Blood Red Asura!” An immense aura of blood permeated from the man, steaming off his body like water. “Lightning Speed!”

Han Ling’s body turned into a streak of purple again, but the wolf had learned, slashing his claw down at the streak of light. Han Ling raised Obsidian Light, “Void Flash!” He shifted through the powerful slash, appearing at the face of the wolve once again.

With a slash across the face the wolf howled in pain, unable to do a thing as Han Ling’s palm slammed into his head once again, shocking him for a full second. The wolf froze and Han Ling had just enough to twist in the air, his sword brought close in a thrust stance.

“True Blood Forms: Seventh Form. Life Piercing Thrust!”

An immense amount of qi formed around the tip, so condensed a red ball formed.

With a loud rumble the blade thrust forward, followed with a searing tear.

A hole appeared on the forehead of the wolf, and the great hulking beast fell to its side, tongue lolled out as the notification of its death reached Han Ling’s ears.

Han Ling landed in a squat, exhaling a sigh of relief as the red asura slowly disappeared. Right then, a terrible pain assaulted his chest and he clutched it, spewing a mouthful of blood on the ground. “Brother Han Ling!” Bai Ye Qing rushed to his side, panic written all over his face. “Are you alright?” Han Ling coughed hard before smiling, “I’ll be fine.”

He stood up, “The Thunder Tiger Sage should be finish…”

Sure enough, the golden strands disappeared and the body of the little kitten mewled softly, while the tiger growled. Blue lightning arced around the tiger’s body, enlarging the beast to an enormous size, as big as the Wolf of the River. “Ah! It is good to be back!”

The tiger threw his head back and roared, causing the entire hall to shudder. “Humans! I am surprised you managed to survive.” The tiger then noticed the corpse of the Wolf of the River and grinned, “You even killed the cheating wolf! Good job!”

“Do we get our rewards?” Han Ling asked as he wiped the blood off his lips, “We nearly died here so I expect good rewards sage.”

“Of course, human.” The Tiger Sage closed its eyes and glowing items appeared in front of the four of them. “These are the best materials I can get for the three of you who have different cultivation physiques, but this young man here cultivates lightning, hence I am giving him my most prized lightning technique.

The trio didn’t have any objections, they knew without Han Ling they would have long been sent to hell…
