Han Ling found a small piece of flat area in the forest, surprised to find no trace of any monsters or creatures.

“Hmm, seems perfect enough.”

“Wooohooo…” Han Ling lifted his hand, a purple rift opening, revealing the handles of Obsidian Light and True Blood Sword.

He pulled them both out, and inspected them with All-Seeing Void.

“Good.”

Han Ling raised Obsidian Light, slashing forward. A purple ray of light sliced an entire tree in half, causing the entire thing to break apart. “Hmmm, it’s a lot weaker than before…”

“True Blood Form: First Form. Red Flower.”

66 blood sabres exploded around him, forming out of the qi permeating the air.

“Hmm, it’s a lot harder to control than before.” Han Ling willed the swords to form a line, and only managed it after a few seconds of fumbling. He willed the sabres to slash at different trees and frowned when some of them slashed the air.

“I expected to be weak, but not this weak… I’ll need a lot of practice to return to my former strength.”

Then a rustle in the bushes, Han Ling whipped around, 10 blood sabres slashing the bush apart, revealing the mangled body of a wolf.

“Oh? A wolf?”

Han Ling activated All-Seeing Void, eye glowing a bright purple.

Creature: Wood Wolf

Level: 1st rank Qi Beast

Technique: Slash

“Hmm, so I can instantly one shot a 1st rank Qi Beast, being a 5th Step Spirit Master, I guess that’s normal…”

Then he noticed something, “I don’t get experience as well…”

Han Ling frowned slightly, “I’ll go for a bit of hunting.”

With that he leaped into the air, zooming through trees in search for an opponent.

It didn’t take long for Han Ling to find a large boar snorting on some plants. Han Ling landed gently on the ground, frowning slightly as he inspected the boar.

Creature: Great Charge Boar

Cultivation Level: 3rd Rank Spirit Beast

Technique: Great Charge. Berserk. Weaken.

“3rd rank Spirit Beast? I wonder how strong it is?”

Han Ling’s figure blurred as he appeared in the sky, falling right on top of the boar.

“Space Cleave.”

A purple slash left a deep gash on the hide of the boar, throwing its head back with a great roar.

Han Ling landed on the boar’s back, deftly leaping off, sending three curving sword rays into the side of the boar, blood gushing from the wounds.

The boar squealed in anger, turning its great big head towards the man. With a hoof stamping on the ground the boar charged without warning. Han Ling sidestepped easily, muttering another skill, this time only 12 blood red sabres appeared around Han Ling, all of them stabbing into the body of the boar.

“REEEE!” The Boar threw its head towards Han Ling, and he casually formed a palm, “Cell Counter.”

The sabres turned into a shield and the boar rebounded on impact, blood gushing from its forehead. The boar staggered back, its eyes rolling around as blood sprouted from its broken forehead.

“Hmm, I guess I should end this…”

“True Blood Form: Sixth Form. Life Snuffing Slash.”

A large slash that sliced through the boar, causing it to fall with no life left in it.

“Huh? I haven’t even activated my physique?”

Han Ling frowned, more annoyed than anything. “I’ll have to kill a 100 beasts of that level huh… Fine, I’ll clear all the beasts in this forest if I have to.”

In just the span of an hour, Han Ling demolished a quarter of the Forest’s monsters.

The ground was littered with corpses, and standing in the centre was a man drenched in red, bloody sabres hovering around him. “Hooo, I can control up to 15 sabres affectively, a slight improvement. I levelled up as well…”

Han Ling pulled the interface up again, “My physique should be awakening now…”

A gold glow oozed from the young man, a powerful light blinding everything in the surroundings. “What power…”

The glow faded and ethereal white flames entered his body.

Physique: Empyrean Zenith (Supreme)

Remarks: A Supreme Physique that once ruled over the heavens and stars. To be a Zenith one must be a master… of elements, weapons, minds, souls, and all things.

Technique: Elemental Zenith.

Han Ling clenched his fist, a torrent of knowledge suddenly wedged into his head. It wasn’t overwhelming but Han Ling had to take a few minutes to organize his thoughts.

“Hoo… Alright, deep breaths, deep breaths.” Han Ling breathed in and opened his eyes, “Wow…”

It was a completely different perspective. Think of it this way, what Han Ling had understood about elements was like meeting a person for the first time. What he sees and understands now is a completely different level, it was like a wife that you’ve been with for all your life and understand everything about her.

Han Ling lifted a hand focusing slightly, arcs of purple lightning sparked on his palm. He lifted another hand and a small orb of purplish water floated above Han Ling’s palm.

“So, the Lightning element has been implemented with Void Spark… but the Water element is really weak, why is that?”

Han Ling clenched his fist in a fluid movement, launching it in a punch. A bolt of lightning burst out, slamming into the bark of the tree, charring the entire tree into coal.

“That’s some good power…”

He turned to the forest, the creatures in it seemingly shaking under that gaze.

“Time for hunting…”
